And there are a whole load of vitamins and minerals available that are out there to help you on your way. But, in the spirit of searching for the right products for healthy living, it’s not always easy to know which foods suit your lifestyle and nutritional needs.

2. Spirulina Powder

Accordingly to Cosmopolitan, it’s got ‘three times more iron than spinach, five times more calcium than milk, double the potassium of bananas, eight times more omega-3 fatty acids than salmon, per 100g it has 41.2g of fibre, 20.7g of protein and 714mg of calcium’ – oh and if it couldn’t get any better, it’s packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals! Sprinkle them in your smoothie – and remember, they expand in water, so will add bulk to any drink.
