Cruelty Free Makeup Brands On The High Street
Our love (addiction) for make-up is bigger than ever! It’s tricky to know which are the cruelty free makeup brands, whilst also being a reasonable price.
We’ve rounded up the best of the best from the high street so that you can do your bit for the animals and saving your pennies!
What is cruelty free makeup?
It is no secret that before a company starts to sell their products, it is required by law that they are tested for safety.
Some cosmetics companies, such as parent companies Estée Lauder and L’Oreal, run their tests on animals rather than humans.
Cruelty free cosmetics are those which do NOT test their beauty products on animals. You can tell if a product is certified cruelty free if it has the leaping bunny stamp.

Where does vegan makeup come into this?
Beauty products are vegan when they do not contain any animal ingredients.
