Caroline Hirons: Her Debut Book, Why Skin Rocks & More
Caroline Hirons is the UK’s #1 skin care expert who got beauty out of lockdown – and that’s only one of the reasons why we love her.
She’s arguably the most honest blogger in the industry and that’s not just for skin care; her social media presence shows a realistic insight into what it’s like to be a working mum of four.
If you don’t love her yet, you will do soon.

Her debut book
The entire world has been waiting not-so-patiently for a book from Caroline. As rubbish as 2020 has been, it has given us Caroline’s debut book, Skin Care: The Ultimate No-Nonsense Guide.

She saved some of our favourite products
Clinique’s Take The Day Off cleanser is one of the most beloved products in the beauty community but did you know that Clinique were about to discontinue it until Caroline gave it a raving review!
Clinique even gave a statement for Caroline’s blog:
‘We can confirm that Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is not being discontinued. We are extremely sorry for any confusion caused at counter.
‘Due to the overwhelming increase in demand of the Balm, we are constantly working to increase supply to fulfill orders.
‘We have over 3,000 units of the Balm due into our warehouse at the end of April, and stock should begin to hit the majority of stores w/c 12th May’.
Take The Day Off isn’t the only product that Caroline has saved – Pixi’s Glow Tonic was rescued by her as well as Biologique’s P-50.
She gives honest reviews
It’s no secret that the world stopped still when Kylie Jenner released a skincare line and Caroline was also part of that… ish.
She had a lot to say about the line as well as a rant about people, specifically middle-aged white men, and how they attack women who have cosmetic procedures. We love women who empower women!

A few years ago, Dan was hospitalised with mumps and very nearly died. Since then, Caroline (and her family) have been big advocates for vaccinating children – she even made a mug about it!
