This hitman got his nickname from boxing in his youth, and he was a go-to for the mob in the 70s. His weapon of choice was a gun - often fitted with a silencer - and he enjoyed shooting people not only in private, but in public, too. He was known to have been responsible for at least 13 hits.

Wayne "Silk" Perry

He was known for being very unstable, even once killing a parking lot employee just because they didn't bring his car fast enough.

Thomas "Tommy Karate" Pitera

Pitera was a deadly hitman for the crime family the Bonannos, back in the 1980s. His was known for his violent fighting skills and martial arts, which made way for his nickname. It's claimed he killed at least 60 people, actually enjoyed doing so, and would also dismember victims afterwards.

He performed contract killings for the New England Mafia, but his nickname came from an incident where he'd got into an altercation with a man, and ended up biting his ear and allegedly chewing on his cheek.

This gang was responsible for up to 200 murders, and DeMeo was known for the 'Gemini Method': this consisted of DeMeo shooting a victim, wrapping the wound with a towel, stabbing the body in the heart to reduce the blood flow from the gunshot wound, hanging the body upside down to drain it, before dismembering it and sending the body to the dump.

During his time as a hitman, he would stalk people and kill random people in order to 'practice his skills'. His nickname comes from his habit of freezing his victims to try and hide the time of death from police.
