As of this year, the Hailey and Selena feud has been growing. It, of course, all started when Gomez fans claimed Hailey had 'stolen' Justin Bieber after he proposed 6 months after officially calling it quits with Gomez. In February the Tik Tok drama started and it has continued until now. It seems the stars have been throwing shade at one another, with Hailey and Kylie Jenner supposedly joking about Selena's eyebrows. And, when a video resurfaced of Hailey Bieber reacting to Taylor Swift's music gagging, Selena commented in Feb 2023 that Taylor Swift, her best friend is one of the best singers today.

2. The first year of marriage was really difficult for the couple

Hailey and Justin married when they were in their early 20s, at a very young age to cope with the pressures of marriage. The couples opened up about the first year of their marriage being extremely difficult. The couple had to change their lifestyles a lot, and the pair were facing huge speculation and criticism and had no privacy to begin their married journey or deal with their problems.

3. Justin's negative behaviour towards Hailey

People have questioned Justin's behaviour towards Hailey. A couple of example that raised eyebrows were a video of him saying that Justin doesn't want Hailey to touch him sometimes. There was also a video of him running away from the paparazzi while Hailey is behind and falls over. Then, there was a video of him talking over her while she's talking about health struggles.

Since the pair first got together in 2015, the couple have faced backlash due to the fact that many fans wanted him to get back with Selena. As a result, both of the couple have been trolled incessantly for many years. They have both at different times publicly asked for a break from trolls, asking everyone to be kind to them and give them some peace. It has without a doubt strained their relationship.

A definite high for the couple. Okay, so they weren't dating officially yet. But, Hailey joined Justin Bieber's family vacation back in 2016, so it was pretty clear that the two of them were together. The two got closer and closer and it was some serious bonding time for not only them, but also the family.

In 2016 it was the first time that the two of them went social media official and actually shared a picture of them kissing one another on their second New Years Eve night together. They partied at Leonardo DiCaprio's party and decided now was the time to let the fans in on the secret, that the two of them were totally in love.

It describes how it must have been hard breaking up with Justin Bieber after being in love with him for so long. Then, watching him marry another girl so soon after whilst still facing and dealing with a hugely publicised breakup. She then replied to this fan thanking them, saying that the comment made her cry. Which made fans speculate that her feelings for Justin have still not gone away.

The couple have had to defend their relationship on so many different occasions. In 2019 the comments and trolling came to a head and Bieber went public with a huge announcement. He wrote about how he will always love Selena, but that he is head over heels in love with his wife and has chosen to dedicate his life to her. As a result he asked fans to sop continuing to cause damaging drama for the couple.

In 2022 Hailey suffered a kind of episode which resembled the symptoms of a mini stroke. She explained that she had a small blood clot on her brain which had cut out the oxygen momentarily. She also said that it was one of the scariest periods of her life, despite having recovered from it so fast.

In 2023, not longer after his wife's health scare, he too had his own. Justin was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome after having facial paralysis which affected half of his face. He had to cancel multiple tours, and rest to recover and restore movement in his face - which included him not being able to use one eye. Justin Bieber describes how Hailey had been his rock through thick and think and had slept in the hospital with him right by his side.

Both Hailey and Justin have rally struggled with both anxiety and depression where they have faced some really low times. Both sought the help of a therapist and Hailey started medication to help her with her anxiety. The couple also believe that thy have helped one another cope with their mental health struggles by each other's unwavering support.
