Most Disgusting Food Combinations From Around The World

1.Chocolate donuts stuffed with baked beans

Starting off strong with this truly gross combination of chocolate donuts stuff with baked beans. We don't mind either of these items separately, but who decided to try this in the first place?! Also, this is not the only time baked beans will be making an appearance on this list, and for that we are sorry!

2. Peanut butter hamburgers

This shouldn't work, but it does, or so we're told. In fact, one person said he did this on a dare and now it's his go-to. It does depend on the type of burger. A plain hamburger with peanut butter on a good bun works best. Most said they would not recommend putting it on, for example, a mushroom, bacon, and Swiss burger.

3. Peanut butter toast topped with ravioli

Why are we messing with peanut butter in this way! Peanut butter is beloved and deserves our respect. People are really out here putting Chef Boyardee raviolis on their peanut butter toast! I'm trying to imagine how this would taste without having to actually experience it, and you know what, I think I'm good! I picture Ross Geller in Friends, "It tastes like feet."

4. A bowl of chili with a cinnamon roll on the side

Apparently this is really popular in the Midwest. As a resident Ohioan, I have never heard of this nor tried it. To get the full effect, you're meant to dip the cinnamon roll into the chili. We're told there are worst food combinations out there, but people who didn't grow up eating this said it's something they wouldn't try again!

5. Ketchup on white rice

This is one of those things that people grew up eating and thinking that it was normal. That being said, even kids who had this as a snack will admit that it's not the world's best flavor combination. It seems like one of those things that if you had it growing up, you might find some comfort in consuming it as an adult.

6. Peanut butter and Cheese Whiz sandwich

This is me once again begging you to leave the peanut butter alone! The most reported comment about this combination is that the sandwich is... oozy, which is just not something I look for in my sandwiches. People also say if you want to try cheese with peanut butter, start with a peanut butter and Swiss toasted sandwich.

7. Pasta topped with chocolate sauce and cheese

Okay, we can ~almost~ get onboard with the pasta and chocolate sauce. Almost. Maybe it's just because of an affinity towards Buddy the Elf. And we're sure dessert pasta exists out there somewhere. But the addition of the cheese just seems like overkill. Pick a lane. Savory or sweet!

8. Cake in a glass of milk

Who doesn't love a slice of cake with some milk? However, putting cake and milk in a cup and mashing it up is triggering our sensory issues! It just seems like a lot of flavors and textures... and mushy. And honestly, why mess with a good thing. Cake doesn't need the assist in this way!

9. Chips Ahoy! cookies with Frito Lay bean dip?

Never in my life have I thought - "You know what would really improve this chocolate chip cookie? A layer of bean dip." We're told this flavor combination is pretty disgusting, but some people seem to enjoy it. The biggest complaint is once again, the texture. Which is totally understandable. Think we'll pass!

10. Chocolate chip cookie with ranch dressing

This started as a joke but became a bit of an internet phenomenon. Do people actually like these combinations, or do they just try them because everyone else is? Hard to say. Some have claimed they tried this as a child and now they continue to do it into adulthood.

11. Hot dogs in applesauce

Okay, so people say that this is a fantastic salty/sweet mashup, but we don't believe it. The way to do it, apparently, is to cut up the hot dog and put it in the applesauce and then eat it with a spoon. This seems like another one that the texture would leave a lot to be desired!

12. Strawberry jam and sour cream sandwich

A strawberry jam and cream cheese sandwich would make more sense to us, but apparently this is one of those combinations that you need to try. It just feels like it would make the bread soggy and ooze out of the bread while you try to eat it? I guess there's a first time for everything.

13. Peanut butter and mayo sandwich

This sandwich got its start in the South. It's considered a delicacy now, but it actually came about during the Great Depression. It's one of those foods that people who ate it as a kid still turn to it today as a comfort food. I've never tried it, but when I think about it... it's greasy? Someone try it and let me know!

14. Broccoli with Cheetos

If you have a kid who won't eat their vegetables, maybe this is the way? This is an actual recipe birthed out of a restaurant in New York. Others have claimed that it's the ultimate stoner food, which honestly probably makes the most sense. We all know that broccoli and cheddar go well together, so this doesn't seem too far off. Anyone wanna try it?

15. Mac n Cheese with Everything But The Bagel seasoning

We're really taking this Everything But The Bagel seasoning too far, don't you think? I'll be the first to say that that stuff is delicious. But it's also pretty salty and mac n cheese is pretty salty on its own too. So this combination seems like a huge hit of sodium and for what? Most people who've tried it agree that the flavor combination isn't good enough to make up for the extreme salt overload.

16. Mozzarella sticks in cookies 'n cream ice cream

It's said that this ONLY works with cookies 'n cream ice cream, and we're not even sure that it works then. I think it's important to ask ourselves if these combinations actually work, or if they're just two things that I like and could enjoy individually. Also, nothing is worse than a cold cheese stick.

17. Baked beans and egg pizza

There is literally nothing about this that sounds appealing, and it actually has kinda ruined the word pizza for us. Pizza is supposed to bring joy and comfort, not fear! Anyways, this is an actual food combination that people have tried, liked, and tried to convince other people to try it too. Idk, there's just something about the runny egg yolk over baked beans on pizza crust that's gonna make this a pass!

18. Tuna and processed meat on pizza dough

Why is everyone trying to mess with pizza?! Pizza is perfect. People want to argue about pineapple on pizza, but WHO... WHOOOO thought that tuna and bologna would be a good life choice? I'm also very confused about what this would taste like. It seems so bland and dry without a sauce, but also like the worst flavor combinations possible!

19. Potato chips dipped in cottage cheese

Cottage cheese has taken the internet by STORM. People are using it for everything from an ice cream base to pasta sauce and more. That being said, on its own, we're not sure that it makes the BEST chip dip. Cottage cheese on its own doesn't have a ton of flavor. We could see this working if it was seasoned in some way, but for now, we'll pass!

20. Cheddar Bay Biscuits dipped in applesauce

Cheddar Bay Biscuits are literally made with tears of the gods. Those things are so dang good. And while this combination seems disgusting, people have said that it is AMAZING. There's a nice salty and sweet combination as well as a good texture from the bread and the sauce. Maybe we'll try this one, mostly as an excuse to eat the biscuits!

21. Uncooked ramen noodles with peanut butter

After some of the other ones on this list, this one seems pretty mild. While it's not going to the top of our list of foods we can't live without, we understand, in theory, why one might be tempted to try this. Who doesn't love a good Ramen, and who doesn't love peanut butter? But we still think these two are probably best eaten separately.

22. Cheetos dipped in peanut butter

Even thinking about this, I can already tell I wouldn't like the texture. But we're told that the peanut butter flavor ultimately dominates the flavor of the Cheeto. So this is one of those weird food combinations that isn't necessarily TERRIBLE, but it also just raises the question of WHY if it's not contributing to the food experience.

23. Pickles and chocolate

This is a food combination that we don't think will go away any time soon. It gained popularity back in 2017 thanks to the internet. People who rave about them say that the combination of salty and sweet is excellent, and others genuinely seem to like the flavor. However, if you're a textures person, we're told this probably isn't for you!

24. Honey on an omelette

We can almost see how this one is good. One person said that she tried this as a kid, and now it's a go-to for her. It's one of those things that was passed down through her family and provides the perfect combination of savory and sweet. Would you try drizzling honey on your omelette?

25. This clam chowder ice pop

Honestly, why? Why do we do this to ourselves. There's no one on the planet who actually thinks this is good right? Everyone loves popsicles, and a good bowl of clam chowder never hurt anyone, but that doesn't mean we had to resort to this! The texture alone is enough to make us gag. Would you try it?

26. Ice cream and french fries

Okay, this is one that we will actually back 100%. If you've ever had a Wendy's frosty and dipped your fries into it, then you know what's up. This is one of those weird food combinations that shouldn't work, but in reality it totally does. The saltiness of the fries and sweetness of the ice cream just hits different!

27. Red wine and Coca-Cola

This combination was all over the internet for a hot second. Most people considered it kinda trashy to ruin a red wine by putting Coke in it. What do you think? People who have tried it said it strangely feels like it's coating your teeth. It's apparently not the WORST flavor in the world, but by and large, people say these two beverages are better left separated.

28. Chocolate pudding on pizza

Any kind of pizza will work, if you choose to add your chocolate pudding snack pack to it. In our opinion, it LOOKS gross. Some people love the pairing, but most have reported that the flavors aren't particularly complementary. Are we surprised? Absolutely not.

29. Pasta and ketchup

They call it the poor man's pasta. Sometimes all you have in your pantry is a box of dried pasta and a bottle of ketchup in the fridge. That's like... close enough to marinara sauce, right? At some point, someone thought so! Some people swear by this combo and even consider it a preference, but it just seems kinda like something you'd put in a bowl together proudly when your mom lets you make your snack when you're 5!

30. Banana slices with raw-fish bits

Yet another food combination that's making me question humanity. Is this for the protein and healthy fats but then also trying to cover up the terrible flavor by somehow making it even worse? We just want answers. Please don't do this. It's not fair to the bananas. Or the... fish.
