1. Richard O'Brien.

It's apparently making a comeback to our screens at the end of this year, have you heard? Who else loved Crystal Maze growing up? Surely you must remember the automatic lock-ins? The nail-biting challenges people had to undertake, whilst Richard sat outside with a little smirk on his face, knowing contestants were clearly never going to complete the game in time.Known for his strange clothes, strange humour and strange head Richard has surely got to go down in the big book of presenter greats. Hopefully, we will see a comeback soon of the Crystal Maze!

1. Richard O'Brien.

Now 74, he has appeared in theatrical productions such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Snow White. He also hosted the 1993 BRITs....
Most recently Richard appeared in the 2015 West End production of The Rocky Horror Show, oh and I bet you didn't he directed the stage show of The Rocky Horror Show and also co-wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation!

2. Stephanie Turner (Juliet Bravo)

The show was about a female police inspector in a police station in Hartley. Stephanie Turner played the role of Jean Darblay in Juliet Bravo. She is still best known for her role in this popular 80s show, as well as her role in The Sweeney as Alison Carter - you might remember her from that show too?

But what's she been up to since leaving the show? 

In the 90s, Stephanie appeared in each of the episodes of The Hello Girls as Miss Armitage and also appeared in At home with the Braithwaites. Having worked as an actress, TV presenter and radio presenter since the 1950s, Stephanie decided to retire and wind down in 2010. In more recent years, she's decided to help drama students and get them prepared for their exams as well as being an ambassador for the Inter-stroke support charity. She also has shares in an antique business.

3. Phillip Thomas - Ricardo Tubbs (Miami Vice)

Miami Vice was probably one of the most popular and successful detective shows of the 1980s. Not only did it bring action and suspense to our TV screens week in week out, we got the chance to stare at the eye candy that was Philip Thomas and Don Johnson.

Philip is still best known for his role in Miami Vice, but what's he been up to since the show ended back in the 80s?

Well, considering how successful the detective show was, Philip didn't struggle to find work after the show ended, he starred in Made-for-TV movies and numerous different advertisements. He served as a spokesman for a cell phone entertainment company and has voiced the character of Lance Vance in video game Grand Theft Auto. Phillip married his wife Kassandra back in the late 80s, they have five kids together and divorced back in 1998. He also has six kids from previous relationships. He's a non-smoker, non-drinker and vegetarian.

4. Sally James.

For all the 70s and 80s kids out there, you'll remember Sally James from the popular TV show Tiswas. She was already as well established actress and presenter before she went on to present Tiswas. She starred in The Railway Children, The Protectors, The Two Ronnies, Dear Sir, with love, just to name a few.

She was considered as a Blue Peter presenter at one point in the late 70s. Nowadays, she's completely changed careers, she now sells school uniforms in Surrey and has her own business as well as presenting BBCWM until 2005. She is still close friends with co-presenter Chris Tarrant and his wife Esher, who live not too far away from Sally and her husband and three kids in Surrey. She presented Tiswas Reunited in 2007 as well as appearing in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.

5. Catherine Bach - Daisy Duke (Dukes of Hazzard)

Daisy, Bo and Luke are all cousins, who live on a farm just outside Hazzard County with their Uncle Jesse. Daisy was frequently involved in car chases and worked in the local bar the Boar's Nest, the local meeting place in Hazzard. Catherine is best known for her role as Daisy Duke as well as Margo Dutton in African Skies. Bach posed as Daisy Duke for a poster, which sold 5 million copies in the US and while she played the role of Daisy, her legs were insured for $1,000,000.

She went on to do some modelling after leaving the show, she was every boy's dream girl, you could probably find her stuck up on most teenage boys bedroom wall. After the series ended, she went on to star in some low-budget movies. In 2006, she starred in Monk and then in 2010 she got a small role in the movie "You again". More recently, she's had a recurring role on The Young and the Restless. Bach launched a jewellery line for Debenhams in 2002. Catherine has been married twice, she had two daughters with her second husband Peter Lopez. In 2010, Lopez was found shot dead in his home in an apparent suicide.

6. Matthew Corbett.

Matthew is an English actor, presenter and puppeteers best known for presenting The Sooty Show and later Sooty & Co. He's the son of Sooty's creator Harry Corbett. he took over from his father in 1978 until he retired in 1998. Before the Sooty Show, he was part of TV show Rainbow. He retired from The Sooty Show after 22 years on the show, he was replaced by Richard Cadell.

What was life after Sooty like for Matthew?

In 2008, he reappeared in ITV show Locks and Quays, a regional TV show for the North West of England. Corbett;s great-uncle is the famous Fish and Chip owner Harry Ramsden. And in 2016, he received an Atlantic Award for his contribution to Children's Entertainment and Education. He now lives in Yorkshire, with his wife.

7. Andy Crane.

Andy started his career in Radio and in 1986 applied for Children's BBC. Presenting from the continuity announcer's booth, nicknamed 'The Broom Cupboard'. He revisited TOTP in 2010 when he appeared as himself presenting Top Of The Pops in a music video called 'Love Goes Down' by Plan B.

Andy Crane.

Since The Broom Cupboard and Top Of The Pops, Andy has been presenting radio programmes and in 2014 he became a freelance newsreader for ITV Granada.

8. Paul Henry - Benny (Crossroads)

Paul Henry is best known for his role on Crossroads as Benny Hawkins. He played the role on the show for 13 years, until it ended in 1988. Benny was the local, simple-minded handyman, who kept us constantly entertained with his comical personality.
In 1977, Paul recorded "Benny's Theme", where he played his character, Benny. The song reached No.39 in the UK charts. Benny talked rather than sang in this hit too - do you remember it?

What happened to Paul after leaving Benny behind?

His country boy style got him the part of Peter Stevens in The Archers. Paul's post-Crossroads career included small TV roles and theatre roles. He also ran a nightclub in Shropshire - bet you didn't know that did you! In 1994, he made a brief return to TV for the Crossroads Reunion. Benny was such a popular character that even years after the show ended he had fans coming up to him telling him how much they loved Benny. He even said that he went back to his car after a shopping trip to find a note stuck to his windshield saying "Benny, we miss you!" - Awwww!
In the 00s, he starred in Doctors and also the ITV drama Bad Girls, as an attempted rapist (a much different role to Benny!) In later life, Ronnie Barker commented on the fact he thought Paul should have been cast as Lennie Godber in sitcom Porridge. He has a wife Sheila and they have a son and a daughter Justine who sadly died at the age of 19 due to a traffic collision.

9. Selina Scott.

Selina Scott is a former TV presenter who was a major figure in the launch of breakfast TV. Selina came to public notice as a new reporter during The Falklands War and then on BBC's breakfast time programme. She also went over to the US and worked on a current affairs programme for CBS.

Nowadays, Scott lives on her home farm in Yorkshire with her 27 Angora Goats and spends her time making Mohair socks - very different. She is also a big campaigner on Animal Welfare, better care of the elderly and against ageism for women in the workplace. You might remember her starting a feud with Donald Trump, back in 1995 when she made a critical documentary about him - I wonder what she thinks about him now? She has since presented shows like Animal Rescue Live and The Under Dog Show. In 2008, she tried to sue Five after being replaced by Natasha Kaplinsky after claiming she was "too old" for the show. She later got a formal apology from Five. Since ending her presenting career, she's since written an Autobiography and has written numerous different columns in newspapers.
She refuses to publicise her personal life so her marital status is unknown. She's a firm believer in Ghosts and Spirits and is from a family of journalists.

11. Sarah Greene.

For all you 80s kids out there, you'll remember Sarah Greene from Blue Peter from 1980 to 1983 as well as Saturday Superstore and Going Live.
At the time, Greene was the youngest ever Blue Peter presenter, aged 22. During her time on Blue Peter, the show won a BAFTA and she has been voted as one of Blue Peter's favourite ever presenters. In 1988, her ad her partner were seriously injured in a helicopter accident, the pair spent a number of weeks in a hospital recovering until Greene returned to presenting Going Live while still in plaster.

She went on to present BBC magazine shows like Pebble Mill. She also starred in Doctor Who, Casualty, Brookside and French & Saunders. In 1992, she combined her talents in hoax paranormal programme Ghostwatch, alongside Michael Parkinson.
In 1994, she started a four-year contract with the Food Network, hosting daily news and then became the presenter for morning TV show This Morning. You might also remember her from the 2008 series of Dancing on Ice. In 2010, she appeared on BBC's Wales show Coming Home where the show managed to track her family all the way back to 17th century Wales.
She and her husband appeared on Celebrity Pointless in 2012. Her husband Mike died in 2014.

12. Bryan Murray - Trevor Jordache (Brookside)

How could we ever forget about the infamous Trevor Jordache, he looked like he had the perfect life from the outside, working as a constructions manager with a wife and kids and a nice home. But behind closed doors, he was an evil tyrant who used to beat his wife and sexually abuse his daughter Beth. Trevor's "body under the patio" story was probably the biggest soap storylines of all time. Millions of viewers watched this episode. After his wife Mandy and daughter, Beth killed him and buried his body under their patio. It was dug up months later by construction workers.

Bryans most famous roles include Trevor in Brookside, Shifty in Bread and Mr James Roberts in Casualty and Holby City. He co-created and co-discovered Perfect Scoundrels which ran for three years.

13. Andi Peters.

Andi presented the much-loved Broom Cupboard from 1989 to 1993. Who was your favourite? Andi, Philip or Andy? Peters initially became famous when he started presenting alongside Edd the Duck and Wilson on The Broom Cupboard, which he presented from 1989 to 1993.

But what did he get up to after leaving the show?

He went on to present Live and Kicking and he had a small part in Toy Story 2 before taking part in Dancing on Ice. He also appeared on Celebrity Masterchef and sometimes makes an appearance on This Morning. He's kept himself busy over the years and he's still as loveable as he was in the 80s.

15. Penny Smith.

Who else watched GMTV every morning before school half asleep with a bowl of coco pops or jam toast in front of them? Fiona and Eamon were definitely the Mum and Dad of the morning TV show, but who remembers Penny Smith?
She was a regular feature on the show between 1993 and 2009, but since GMTV was taken over by Daybreak she seems to have dropped off the face of the earth.

Since September 2010 she has taken a step back from the television aspect of her journalism career, instead choosing to review the newspapers on ITV's This Morning. As of 2016, Penny is now a radio presenter on Saturday Mornings on the new radio channel Talk station.
