1. Taylor Swift - Performed at a wedding!

Image Source / vultureIn 2016, Swifty surprised bride and groom Max Singer and Kenya Smith when she turned up to perform at their wedding! She played "Blank Space” on the piano which apparently is one of the couple’s favourites. This isn’t the first time Taylor surprised a fan - she has been known to rock up to birthdays and baby showers and everything in between. You can’t deny she really puts her fans first.

Actress Gina Rodriguez sent a dress to one of her fans to wear at their prom. This wasn’t any old dress though, it was the one Rodriguez had worn to the Golden Globes!! After fan Jessica Casanova tweeted her saying she’d love to wear the dress, Rodriguez made her dreams a reality, wow!

Naturally, a superstar like Minaj has a ton of money but that doesn’t mean she has to put it towards good causes. Well, she does. In 2017, after hearing about the financial troubles of many of her fans, Minaj offered to pay off their student debts on 1 condition: they had to get straight As! Now there’s an incentive if ever I heard one.

4. Drake - met a young fan in hospital!

11 year old Sofia Sanchez seemed like an unlikely Drake fan which made her story and request so much harder to resist. The young girl was waiting for a heart transplant when she posted a message to her idol asking him to visit her. When he showed up he casually said, "You asked me to come, I'm here." What a legend.

When working as a host on The Voice, Cyrus showed her soft side. In an emotional video posted to Instagram the contestant thanked Cyrus whilst wiping away tears.

When ‘The Rock’ heard the plight of a 7-year-old terminally ill fan he did what I think anyone would do, if they had the money. He flew little Gabriel Singleton out to meet him on the set of Baywatch where he hung out with cast and crew and made special final memories. Lovely.

Many fans hold up signs at his concerts but Grace Ramsey’s stood out from the crowd. It read, "I'm going to come out to my parents because of you!” When the superstar clocked the sign he couldn’t resist getting involved. What’s more, Grace’s Mum was at the same concert which led to a heartwarming moment of Harry shouting "TINA! SHE'S GAY!"

In 2011, Emily Sorrells contacted Markle via Twitter, explaining that she had been a source of inspiration to her and had promoted her to start aid work in the South American country Costa Rica. And so began 6 years of online communication between the two who now call themselves friends. They even met face-to-face at an event in 2016 where Meghan took their correspondence offline by handing Emily a handwritten letter - how kind.

Ashley is a JB superfan (who isn’t). She missed her quinceañera due to a diagnosis of meningitis so lo and behold, who rocked up to celebrate with her in style? None other than the Biebs himself! Not only did he walk with her hand-in-hand to the party, he even danced with her in front of her pals. Jealous!

7-year-old Alex Pring was born without an arm so when he expressed his love for Marvel movies, Robert Downey Jr. contacted Limbitless Solutions in Florida. The company custom built a Iron Man themed prosthetic for Alex which is pretty epic if I may say so myself.

Through the charity Make-A-Wish, Selena Gomez has reportedly granted more than 90 wishes over the years and even won an award from the charity for her work. Wishes cover anything and everything from trips to Disneyland to concert tickets. The fact Gomez keeps these donations fairly private really proves she has a heart of gold and doesn’t do it for publicity.

14. Rihanna - sent a fan supportive messages!

In the same vein as Harry Style, Rihanna supported a fan in coming out. After the fan contacted her via Instagram DMs, the pop icon sent him a flurry of supportive messages and, even after he took the brave decision to come out, continued to support him after with encouragement.

When Covid hit many of us felt our purse strings tightening. Of course for A-list celebrities this wasn’t exactly an issue. Ariana decided to share some of her fortune to those she knew were struggling. Much like Selena, Ariana keeps her generosity fairly under wraps but this didn’t stop many fans from turning to social media to express their gratitude after she had helped them out.

16. Camila Cabello - encouraged a fan to transition!

After meeting a fan at a signing who expressed their desire to transition, Cabello knew she had to help, even if just with words of encouragement. And encourage she did - so much so that when they went to chose their new name they picked ‘Camila Joe’ in homage to the singer.
