1. Jared Leto: A Human Ear
Image Source / Entertainment TonightActor and musician Jared Leto once received a whole human ear in the post. Yep. Someone had cut off their ear and sent it to him. To make matters worse (or maybe even kinda clever?) they'd included a note that said, "Are you listening?". But if you think that's weird, Leto actually put a hole in the ear and wore it is a necklace afterwards...
2. Jennifer Lopez: Naked Photos
This one's even worse because the fan actually sued the singer and actress for it! He sent naked pictures of his bits, and then sued her, claiming that she'd promised him fame if he sent her the photos. Needless to say, Lopez didn't have to pay a dime, and the guy needed counselling.
3. Steve Vai: A NSFW Birthday Video
Steve Vai is a legendary rock guitarist - so legendary that one fan wanted to send a very special birthday message for him. They made a very, very NSFW Happy Birthday video for him, in which she posed naked in front of a birthday cake and then proceeded to blow out the candles - with her backside, not her mouth.
4. Kliff Kingsbury: A Break Up Letter
Let's be clear: college football coach Kliff Kingsbury was definitely not in a relationship with this random fan when she decided to send him a break up letter. You have to give it to her though - ending it before it had even begun to save herself from the hurt. In the letter, she explained why they had to break up, including because he was just too good looking.
5. Björk: Letter-Bomb
Image Source / True Crime and Cannibalism
This one moved away from weird to full on deadly and messed up. A stalker fan of Icelandic singer Björk decided to send her a letter bomb, with the intention of sulfuric acid being sprayed in her face. His plan failed, and he was later found to have committed suicide.
6. Ke$ha: Human Teeth
A fan once sent the pop singer a real human tooth, and she didn't just throw it in the trash, either. She then made a necklace from it, after asking fans to send in some more teeth so she could fashion her own jewelry. The singer actually ended up with over 1,000 real teeth.
7. Dolly Parton: A Real Baby
When country music legend Dolly Parton returned home one day, there was an actual baby that had been left on her doorstep by a fan. The baby had a note with it, which said that the baby's name was Jolene and that its mother wanted Dolly to have it. Dolly of course didn't keep the little gift and Human Services were called!
8. The Jonas Brothers: A Dead Shark
Image Source / Showbiz Cheat Sheet
It's not clear how this even managed to get to them, but a dead shark had been preserved and placed in a tube before being mailed to the Jonas Brothers. Was it a warning? A proclamation of love? Or did they just want to share their love for aquatic creatures? It's not the first weird thing the guys have got in the mail, anyway.
9. Pink: A Survival Kit And Cult Membership
This fan was kind enough to send not one, but two weird things in the post at once. Singer Pink once received a survival kit in the mail, which came with a 16-page letter telling her she'd been inducted into a cult, and that she should come and live in their home. The survival kit was apparently the tools Pink would need to make that journey.
10. Norman Reedus: Breast Implant
You might think that the reason The Walking Dead actor received a breast implant in the mail was some sexy seduction tactic, but the reason it was sent might surprise you. Apparently the fan sent it because she thought he looked sad in an interview. He actually kept it, and apparently now uses the implant as a place to put his phone in his trailer!
11. Zac Efron: A Piece Of Skin
Heartthrob actor Zac Efron has probably received a lot of weird stuff in the mail during his career, but a piece of skin probably takes the gold medal. Apparently, when revealing the news on a talk show, he said it was hilarious because he didn't know how to handle it. Hilarious isn't the word I'd use, but you do you Zac!
12. Alice Cooper: The Heart Of A Cat
Rock legend Alice Cooper, who isn't a stranger to the macabre based on his stage shows, music and general style, was still shocked to receive something pretty grim in the mail. Someone decided to send him the real heart of a real cat... And it was also placed inside a small coffin.
13. Emma Watson: Bibles

14. Taylor Swift: A Turtle Shell With Her Face On It
The turtle shell alone would be weird enough, but the fact that the fan had also painted her face onto it, too. The fan apparently walked right up to her to personally deliver it, forgoing the risky postal process, and her reaction was actually that she didn't mind...
15. Robert Pattinson: Toothpicks
And no, this wasn't to get the blood or human skin out of his teeth after appearing as the famous vampire in a little film franchise called Twilight - it was because the actor had been spotted using toothpicks to chew on to tackle his cigarette cravings, so fans were nice enough to send him thousands of them.
16. One Direction: Marriage Certificate
This particular gift wasn't aimed at the fan's favourite member of the band; it was a marriage certificate intended to join every single one of them in holy matrimony. The marriage certificate included all names of all members, and apparently looked very official indeed!
17. Ed Westwick: Love Notes
Okay maybe this one isn't the weirdest for a heartthrob to receive - especially after his performance in Gossip Girl - but apparently Ed is no stranger to female fans slipping love notes under his door when drunk. One of the notes apparently said that she 'wasn't like other girls' and he should give her a call.

19. Madonna: A Letter Claiming To Be Jesus

20. Megan Fox: A Letter Covered In Poop
In this fan's defence, his poop-covered letter was a way to get actress Megan Fox's attention - and it sure worked, so you can't really fault his logic. He sent her the letter covered in faeces after following her work for many years and decided it was time to reach out to the actress... in a very disgusting way. Ew.
21. Nathan Carter: Pair Of Boxers With A Woman's Name On It
Was this just supposed to be something saucy or did the fan want him to actually wear the boxers that had their name on the front of them? To be fair, underwear can get expensive even when you're a popular singer, so as long as they were clean... it's not the worst, if still weird.
22. Charlie Simpson: Pubic Hair Taped To A Card
At least they had the good sense to tape down the hair so it wouldn't fall out! Busted's frontman Charlie Simpson (remember Busted?) received this nice piece of fan mail with an extra personal touch, and labelled it "bizarre". And of course, he's right.
23. Avril Lavigne: A Dead Rabbit
Avril Lavigne's pop punky songs filled many of our music playlists back in the day, and one fan went so far as to enjoy her music so much to send her a dead animal: a dead rabbit, in fact. What could be seen as very gruesome and maybe even a threat, apparently dead rabbits can actually be considered as tokens of good luck in some parts of the world.
24. Harry Styles: Sanitary Towel
After getting weird fan mail from when he was part of One Direction, Harry Styles continued to get the same when he went solo. One of these strange gifts included a sanitary towel that had his name written on it in sharpie... The worst part is we don't know whether it was a used one or not.
25. Tom Felton: Adoption Request From Lucius Malfoy
Image Source / The New York Times
And by this we mean a fan who had legally changed their name to Lucius Malfoy, Felton's famous father in the HP movie franchise, and then sent Tom Felton adoption papers asking him to officially become their son. His request also asked the actor to then move in with him at 'Malfoy Manor'. Yep.
26. Ariana Grande: A Huge Pumpkin

The petroleum jelly had been coated in glittering studs to give it more of a 'wow' factor - and let's hope they didn't put every one of those studs on themselves one at a time...
29. Daniel Radcliffe: A Picture Of His Own House
Just in case Harry Potter actor Radcliffe doesn't know what his own house looks like, one helpful fan decided to send him a photo of it. Even more creepy was the fact it wasn't just a far-away shot of the house - it was a photo of two people posing on his very doorstep. Radcliffe could even have been home at the time.
30. Halle Berry: An Engagement Ring
Well that's one way to propose to a Hollywood starlet. One fan was so obsessed with Halle Berry that they delivered the diamond ring along with a written marriage proposal, which, needless to say, she didn't accept... at least not that we know of...
