1. Richard Ramirez jury member fell in love with him

Image source/ CBSRichard Ramirez is also known as 'The Night Stalker' and he is a notorious murderer who slayed multiple women. Whilst he was in prison, he received a fair few creepy fan letter. In fact, one lady was his juror. She made him cupcakes that said I love you. And she visited him and even brought her parents along with her. Thankfully, she gave him a guilty verdict, but she still maintained her letter love affair with him.

2. A woman declaring her love for Ted Bundy even creeped HIM out

Ted Bundy amassed a group of admirers waiting to write to him in prison. One started a correspondence with Bundy, but it became so much that it even managed to creep him the mass murdered out. Bundy replied once and she declared her love for him, describing the way she kissed it and cried over the letter. Then, she started to appear at every single trial. Bundy had to ask his wife not to sit near her so that he did not have to see her anymore - "There she sits contemplating me with her mad eyes like a deranged seagull studying a clam,”

3. Mass Murderer Dylan Roof's fans started their own club

Sickeningly, mass murderer Dylan Roof has his own fan club which call themselves the 'Roofies'. These women declare that they found him handsome. On wrote, “I feel so bad that I find Dylann handsome, but wtf can I do about it.” They also write about how they found him and his crimes arousing.

4. James Holmes Swooning lady

James Holmes went to a theatre and murdered 12 people when he opened fire. This has not stopped some women writing creepy letters to him in prison. On wrote to him in a letter which said: “You’re all I think about.  I actually had a dream about you, haha. I gave you a hand massage!”

5. Josef Fritzl’s Fanclub

Josef Fritzel kept his daughter as a sex slave locked up in the basement for 24 years. But letters poured in from hundreds of women wanting to write to him in prison. Someone actually sent a REALLY creepy letter speaking about her sexual arousal and, with a picture in a letter to Fritz acting out a rape scene with a masked man.

6. Ian Brady's lover

Ian Brady molested and then murdered five children with his girlfriend named Myra Hindley. When one of his admirers who had been sending him letters found out he was dead, she wrote, “Oh my God, I just heard about Ian. This is the worst day ever.” “I hope he’s at peace wherever he is. I love you Ian, and I will never forget how incredibly generous it was of you to reply to me. I’ll love you forever and I’ve got your name on me for the rest of my life.”

7. Anders Breivik’s supporters

Anders Breivik is a white supremacist who killed 77 people. Yet, he still receives hundreds and hundreds of letters each year. In fact, one woman called Victoria from Sweden sent him a letter declaring her love and stating that “I really wouldn’t want to live a life without you.”

8. Jeff Dahmer's sympathiser

It is a strange concept to come to terms with the fact that some men and women fall in love with serial killers. And Jeff Dahmer was a rapist, murderer, cannibal. But he had a LOT of fan mail. In fact, in just the year 1993 he received a lot of creepy fan mail and the most shocking of all.... he was given a total of $12,000.

9. Fans sent Nikolas Cruz naked pictures

Nicholas Cruz is known as the notorious Parkland High School Shooter who took many lives. Women from all over have written to the mass murdered with creepy letters trying to get his attention. One woman wrote to him saying; “I’m really skinny and have 34C sized breasts.” But his public defender never lets him see the letters because he does not want him receiving any gratification.

10. Kenneth Bianchi’s fan wrote a play about him

Kenneth Bianchi had a particularly creepy fan. She wrote to him, “I hope you received my letter and could spare a moment during your busy schedule to look over my play. I really think you will find the plot quite fascinating. After all, it was you who inspired it,” she wrote in a letter attached to her script. “I hope to inspire you one day.” She then went to an extreme and tried to commit a copycat murder so that people would think that killer was still out there.

One woman wrote to James Holmes the serial killer, telling him that ''I hope to see you and talk to you soon. There are so many of us supporting you. In fact, me and one lady from the fan group are hoping to get a ride together to your next trial''...

12. A man who found Jeff Dahmer 'endearing'

Jeff Dahmer gained many female and male admirers. One woman wrote a creepy letter which said "If it were possible, I'd date Jeffrey in a heartbeat. I'm just completely fascinated and enamoured by him. He's unlike any other serial killer. He wasn't charismatic, like Ted Bundy, but his awkward dorkiness is endearing to me."

13. A woman Bragging about her correspondence with Ian Brady

Another woman writing to Ian Brady the murderer decided to brag publicly about their correspondence. She gloated online; "Guess who got a reply from Mr Ian Brady," she gloated in a blog post. "I was blessed. Ian Brady knows I EXIST." She then went on to say: "This is the best thing ever. I love Ian a lot and this is amazing."

14. A woman who is only attracted to killers

One creepy letter to Richard Ramriez spoke about how she only felt attracted to serial killers and had only ever felt any kind of attraction towards murderers. She explained, "Richard Ramirez was my first true attraction. I thought 'this is wrong, he's a killer - he's insane' - but a part of me thought, 'I know, that's what makes him more attractive'.

Ramirez is one serial killer who had a LOT of creepy letters. But he also replied with equally or even creepier messages. For example, he replied to one lady who revealed "The one letter I received from him told me to write to him when I was legal. By the time I was legal, he was dead."  She then added, "I keep the letter at my mother's house in a shoebox under my bed. It's priceless to me."

Suggestive letters and revealing photos are surprisingly common amongst murderers in prison. One lady wrote to Chris Watt trying to persuade him to let her visit. She said in the letter; trust me, you will not be sorry, and then enclosed a bikini picture inside.

17. A couple who seduced serial killers for fun

One couple started writing letters to murderers in prison. She explained how she was fascinated by them and their minds and how in the first place she loved it and loved the correspondence but after a few years it became a job to her and her husband. Her husband wanted to speak with the mass murderers, those who had killed the most people. He questioned why she was interested in the murderers who had only taken a few lives. He said they were insignificant.

One man wrote a series of creepy letters to Charles Manson, even claiming his innocence: ''Hey it's me again. I don't know if you have gotten any of my other letters, but I've been telling you about my tattoo. So, I've enclosed a picture of myself. It's such b****** that you're in prison for crimes that you didn't commit''.

One student started some correspondence with multiple mass murderers whilst studying Criminology at University. Many were obliging. While her letters remained fairly neutral - some of the replies she had were very creepy such as Ivan Milat describing the lingering sent of her perfume on the paper that she wrote which he sniffed occasionally.

20. A revealing questionnaire from the night killer

One creepy letter sent Ramirez a questionnaire asking about his favourite things. Ramirez, who had nothing else to do in prison write back with the forms filled in. It contained some very creepy answers. When he replied what his favourite food was...he said, 'women's feet'.

Some pen pals grow attached to the murderers who they write too. One woman described how she felt when they were killed on death row; “I have personally lost several pals to execution and each time it hurts but each time I am comforted by the knowledge that I helped to make that person feel 'wanted' when almost all others had walked away.

22. Paula Williamson Charles Bronson's relationship through letters

One woman named Paula Williamson struck up a relationship with Charles Brinson through letters and prison visits. She claimed, "I’m madly in love with Charlie and he’s madly in love with me." When questioned about the relationship she said ''But even I can’t believe I’m marrying Britain’s most notorious prisoner" and then said, "In my heart, I know you are a great guy.''

23. Family murderer Chris Watt's group of fan girls

Serial killer Chris Watt has an entire group of women claiming that they are his fans and vying for his attention by writing creepy letters to him in prison. One wrote, "If you do write me back, I'd be the happiest girl alive, that's for sure #teamchris #chrisisinnocent #lovehim #socute."

24. Proposal to Ted Bundy

Ted Bundy was not short of women writing to him in prison. These women would write consistently, claiming that they were in love with him and trying to convince him to write back and be their boyfriend. One wrote about how Charles Manson would make the perfect boyfriend...

25. John Wayne Gacy's admirer

Notorious killer John Wayne Gacy also had a few admirers. He received many letters from fans. One obsessive fan said that they would do anything to hear back from him and would do anything for John Wayne Gacy and claimed that he should not have been locked up in prison for what he did.

26. Dylan Roof's tattoo dedication

Dylan Roof as we know, had a collection of fans who would regularly write letters to him. One had his name tattooed right between her breasts - which she described to him in a very creepy letter and also sent a picture as proof. Some of these fans would go to huge lengths to get his attention.

27. Josef Fritzel

Unfortunately, Dylan Roof's fan was not the only person to get a tattoo of their favourite murderer tattooed permanently on their body. Josef Fritzel also had a fan send him a creepy letter to prison with a picture of himself, Josey Fritzel on his body in ink.

28.  Ted Bundy described one fans creepy letter

Ted Bundy has had some of the creepiest letters written to him whilst in prison. And he actually started writing back to one lady regularly whilst he had time to spare in jail. But then she got more and more carried away and her letters got creepier and creepier, and he described how he could picture her pouring hot sauce all over him.

One woman wrote a letter to James Holmes, fondly describing his looks. She wrote to him saying “I can’t believe your curls are gone. I like them,” she continued “I like a lot about your appearance. You’re handsome. You have strong hands and facial hair. You have really nice eyes.”

30. Crying over Ian Brady's death

Another woman could not come to terms with Ian Brady's death, she had been writing to him whilst he was in prison. When she found out she wrote that she was "crying so much” and she continued to say “You were an interesting individual with interesting, fascinating brains and thoughts. You introduced a whole new thing to me.”
