To make it more suspicious, a neighbor reported gunshots from the house, but Mark said it was a car backfiring. Shelton was never found.

She was never seen again, while it's claimed the nightwatchman saw her get into the car.

Mother and wife Susan Powell went missing in 2009, and on the day of her disappearance, she'd attended church with her family and was later visited by a neighbor at home. The neighbor would be the last person to see Susan outside of her family. Her husband, Joshua, was the main suspect after he claimed he took the family on a camping trip without Susan, for her to be missing when he returned. To make it more tragic, Joshua later killed their two sons before killing himself, while Susan remains missing - believed to have possibly been murdered by Joshua and his brother, Michael.
