All Of The Kardashian Scandals From Over The Years

1. Kim's s*x tape

The Kardashian scandal of all Kardashian scandals started in 2007 when a video of Kim and her then-boyfriend Ray J was released of them having s*x. Kim tried to stop the release of the tape but settled for a cushty $5million - this video has now been watched online over 200 million times.

2. The Kardashian Kard

Just as the Kardashian's were making their way up to superstardom, Kourtney, Khloé and Kim decided to create a prepaid card produced in collaboration with Mastercard. Fortunately, the card with quickly shut down and the sister's were faced with a tonne of backlash due to the card coming with lots of fees - which was also targets at teens and young adults.

3. The 72-day marriage

The sex tape may have got the ball rolling when it came to building the Kardashian empire, but when Kim started dating NBA player Kris Humphries in 2010, people really weren't sure how long they would last. 72 days to be exact, which was a PR low point for the family who were accused of staging the whole thing.

4. The quicktrim lawsuit

Before the family got deals with the likes of Calvin Klein and Balmain, the sisters in particular were advertising diet pills. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney were named in a $5 million lawsuit against company Quicktrim who were alleged to be advertising "misleading" results.

5. Khloe's native American headdress

Khloe has been involved in a few scandals herself, especially when it comes to cultural appropriation. In 2014, the family threw a Coachella themed party for North West and Khloe decided to wear a Native American headdress to the event. Let's just say it didn't go down too well amongst the Native American Communities.

6. Kylie, Tyga & the whole underage thing

Kylie and Tyga's relationship was never low-key from the start. Dating rumours started circulating before Kylie was 18 and very shortly after Tyga broke off his engagement to Blac Chyna. When Kylie did eventually turn 18 they became official with Kylie starring in his video "Stimulated".

7. Khloe's Niqab

Whilst visiting Dubai in 2015, Khloe got herself in some hot water again, just a year after the Native American headdress fiasco. The younger sister posted a photo of herself wearing a niqab, a traditional face covering worn by Muslim women. Later in the episode she was given a lesson by two Dash employees about cultural appropriation.

8. Kylie's wheelchair shoot

For an Interview magazine spread, Kylie posed in a wheelchair which obviously didn't go down too well with wheelchair users in real life, who took to social media to express their displeasure with the photos. Kylie and the magazine defended the shoot saying it was an homage to the artist Allen Jones.

9. Rob's Gone Girl Instagram post

Rob has gone through quite a journey himself, as the only brother in the family, he's often found himself on the wrong side of his sisters. In 2017, he posted a picture of Amy from Gone Girl - a character who fakes her own death and frames her husband for murder. Rob said  this was Kim "the b***h from Gone Girl" - which landed him in hot water online.

10. Kylie & Vlada Haggerty

Kylie Cosmetics has grown from strength to strength since she launched the company in 2015. But things haven't always gone exactly to plan. In 2015, makeup artist Vlada Haggerty accused Kylie of copying her designs for some of the lip kit advertising and the same thing happened again in 2016. Apparently the issue was resolved a year later.

11. Kim's morning sickness #sponcon

Kim was always very open when it came to how much she struggled during her pregnancies but in 2015, she started promoting a morning-sickness drug called Diclegis on Instagram. The FDA asked her to remove the post through because she failed to include the information about potential risks.

12. Kylie's lip filler fiasco

It's hard to remember what Kylie looked like before she had a lot of her work done, she was beautiful then just like she is now. But there was a time when Kylie swore she had never had her lips done saying it was all thanks to a bit of liner. Finally in 2015, she admitted to having "temporary" lip fillers.

13. Kendall's ballerina shoot

Whilst shooting for the cover of Vogue in 2016, Kendall was asked to do a short video where she pretended to be a ballerina. You can probably see where I'm going with this...ballerinas around the world didn't appreciate the implication that anyone can do something that requires hours of training and practice.

14. Kim's braids

Kim has been called out on many occasions for cultural appropriation. In 2016, Kim and some of her sisters were obsessed with a hairstyle called "boxer braids" but fans criticised her for taking credit for a trend that she did not popularize. Her boxer braids were better known as cornrows.

15. Kim VS Taylor

Taylor Swift either grates on you or you love her! But this scandal was quite a low point for the star. Taylor claimed she didn't give Kanye approval for the "Famous" lyrics, but Kim was right there with the receipts in the form of a Snapchat video. No one was sure which side to take.

16. Kylie's stolen Coachella outfit

Another scandal in which Kylie was accused of 'stealing' someone else's ideas. After Kylie wore this look to a Coachella event, Australian designer, Brit Day accused her of taking her "inspiration" without permission or attribution and shared a photo of herself in that same outfit.

17. Caitlyn & Donald Trump

Despite being a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Caitlyn has never shied away from supporting the Republican party. She was pro-Ted Cruz during the 2016 primaries but voted for Donald Trump once he became the nominee in 2017. Even attending his inauguration - which rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way.

18. Kendall's Pepsi ad

One that all of the KUWTK fans will remember is Kendall's Pepsi ad nightmare in which she appears as the cure to all of the world's ills, amid national protests against police shootings and police violence. This tone deaf ad was immediately pulled and Kendall later addressed it on the show after a lot of online abuse.

19. Kendall & Fyre Festival

Kendall had a bit of a rough year in 2017, not only was she heavily criticised for her role in the Pepsi ad, but she was also under fire (no pun intended) when she was involved in the promoting of the failed Fyre Festival. She later deleted any posts when the whole thing became a disaster.

20. Kylie stealing more idea's...

Another Kylie stealing scandal...yet again. After she released a new line of camo clothing, Plugged NYC designer Tizita Balemlay claimed that the youngest Jenner sister had ripped off her designs. She also claimed that Kylie's stylist had requested samples of the PluggedNYC looks. Naughty naughty!

21. Kendall & Kylie's Biggie shirts

Kendall AND Kylie were both under fire when they thought it would be a good idea to release a Kendall + Kylie T-shirt line featuring their faces superimposed over photos of deceased rappers like Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace said no one had been contacted and the sisters were forced to apologize when a lawsuit was taken up against them.

22. Kim defending Jeffree Star

So, this one's complicated...Jeffree Star criticized Kim's KKW line, forcing Kim fans to come at him for coming at her. However, some of those fans were reminded of some of Jeffree's racist comments he had made before Kim (who was unaware of these comments) defended him on Snapchat. This led fans to wonder why she as defending him & it blew up from there.

23. Kim's blackface allegations

When Kim's KKW beauty line was launched in 2017, the first round of adverts featured Kim with a much darker complexion that she usually has. This led to a lot of backlash, especially on Twitter, with people calling her out for darkening her skin tone.

24. Kim's Aaliyah Halloween costume

Another 2017 disaster for the Kardashian/Jenner sister, was when Kim dressed up as Aaliyah in the "Try Again" music video. This drew a lot of criticism because Kim was a white woman dressing up as a black woman. Kim later apologized saying she and her family "don't see color".

25. Rob's revenge porn drama

Wen Rob and Blac Cyna's relationship finally came to an abrupt end, Rob shared intimate photos of Chyna on Instagram as "payback" for apparently cheating on him. Chyna also claimed that Rob had hit her during their relationship. There was a lot of public squabbling for a while.

26. Kim VS Fast fashion

The likes of Missguided and Fashion Nova have always ripped off high fashion brands that the Kardashians have worn for years, When people started to suspect that Kim had something to do with it after Diet Prada accused Kim of giving certain brands previews of her designer clothes.

27. Kim's ecstasy confession

In an episode of KUWTK, Kim admitted to using ecstasy when she was younger. She spoke about being on the drug when she married Damon Thomas and also when she filmed her sex tape with Ray J - explaining how her jaw was jittering the whole way through.

Then when she thought she had finally found the one in Tristan Thompson, his constantly philandering and adultery was exposed just as Khloe was about to give birth to their first child.

30. Kendall's comments about the modelling industry

In an Interview with LOVE magazine, Kendall said that she was "super selective" about which runway shows she chose to model for. "I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f*ck those girls do." proving just how much privilege she does have. Tone deaf.
