Okay, this really is taking laziness to the next level. Considering that you don't even have to stand up or put any effort into stirring your own mug yourself, this feels pretty pointless. This idea I can get behind. Picture this, you're lying in bed, not quite ready to get out and face the day yet, but wanting to feel a little more refreshed. Well, you can simply reach for your remote control on your bedside table, press a button, and your curtains or blinds will open just like that! Likewise, if you forget to close the curtains when you're already cosy in bed, this would be ideal.

6. Voice-activated lights

You probably know somebody, or even a few people, who have these. You simply say the command out loud, and it becomes a reality! If you wanted to take things a step further, you can specify the color of the lighting that you feel like having each day!

This invention I truly do believe to be a life saver. You turn it on, and just let it loose on your lawn! It will mow your lawn to perfection, without requiring any manual effort from you. Somebody has finally thought to combine the beloved TV remote control and a bottle opener. It's genius! This invention is both clever and dangerous at the same time! It makes it way too easy to knock back beer after beer.

17. Sandwich in a can

Wow. A sandwich in a can. I really have seen it all now! This just seems completely wrong. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is super easy to put together already, if you're having to get this out of a can, then I'm afraid you really are lazy! I just can't imagine that this would taste nice. Who knows, maybe I'd change my mind if I gave it a try.

18. Delivery drones

Now I feel like this idea is practical. These clever drones will collect and deliver your packages straight to your doorstep! This means you won't have to venture out to go and pick them up. Even better, you don't have to wait on long delivery times from the delivery driver. These drones work all day and night long, meaning you're likely to get your package much faster!

19. Robotic personal assistant

Robots these days get a lot of bad press. There are horror movies where they have malfunctioned, and talk of them taking away jobs from people. But, this cute little guy seems too innocent to try anything vicious. This virtual assistant is implanted within a robot. It can perform multiple different tasks according to your command. If you want it to fetch your shoes, it will. If you want it to call your mom, it will!

26. Poop trap for dogs

Mans best friend apparently, but sometimes when they are curling one out its almost as if they know you're about to pick it up and they either try to push out a little extra, or make it super soggy. So what better way to get around that pain of picking up dog poop than a poop catcher that's attached to mans best friend's rear end? This has to go down as a winner.

27. Automatic garbage sorter

In todays world, it's all about looking after the planet, helping out what has grown to be a global problem of huge garbage piles covering our land. Whilst it isn’t the hardest job in the world to do at home, it does mean three, four or even sometimes five bins outside your house. This contraption lets you remove that worry from your brain, simply throw it away as one and let the garbage sorter automatically recycle it for you.

28. Robot chef

We all love good food. When in reality, we can be too lazy to cook a cheese toastie from time to time. So, this life saving robot chef has to be something everyone wants! Early morning gym session and no time to cook? No problem, the robot chef has already whipped something up for you! Late night feast needed but too lazy to move? No problem, robo-cook has already prepared you a freshly cooked meal.

29. Electric scissors

Maybe on the lower end of life's necessities but I can see where these would come in great use - long gone are the days of repetitive strain injury from cutting (if that ever was a thing), now all it takes is a press of a button and for you to guide the scissors on their path, and we’re onto a winner. Cutting through some tough leather? Let your muscles rest and the electric cutters will force their way through.

30. Self-tuning guitar

For the music lovers out there, and especially the guitar players, what do we think to this? Most guitar players will enjoy fine tuning their instrument because it's what they use day in, day out. So, when it comes to letting an electronic device do it for them, maybe there will be some uproar. Nevertheless, this has to be a huge time saver and also the efficiency and accuracy of these electrical devices has to be second to none.
