‘9-1-1 Nashville’ Actress Isabelle Tate Passes Away at 23 — Cause of Death Revealed
The 23-year-old rising actress passed away just weeks after her TV debut, claimed by a rare neurological disease that cut short a life full of promise.
Isabelle Tate, the actress who made her debut in ABC's "9-1-1: Nashville," has died. Her shocking death on October 19, 2025, was confirmed by the McCray Agency, which represented the young star.
In a heartbreaking Instagram Story, the agency called her passing both "sudden and shocking," adding that she "died peacefully." They asked for privacy on behalf of Tate's grieving family.
In June, Tate stepped back into the spotlight to film her episode of "9-1-1: Nashville." It aired on October 6, a moment that marked what many believed to be the beginning of a promising career.

Tate, a Nashville native, was raised in the Franklin community and graduated with a business degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Off-screen, she was a woman of many talents: a songwriter, a music lover, and a dedicated volunteer at local animal shelters.
Her obituary described her as "a fighter" who faced life's challenges head-on, "never once making excuses." She is survived by her mother, Katerina Kazakos Tate; stepfather, Vishnu Jayamohan; father, John Daniel Tate; and sister, Daniella Tate.
Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), which claimed the actress's life, is a progressive illness that attacks the peripheral nerves, leading to muscle weakness, mobility loss, and in some cases, severe disability. Its impact varies from patient to patient, but for many, it transforms everyday tasks into painful obstacles.
A visitation for Tate will be held on Friday, October 24, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Forest Hills Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee, with a funeral service to follow, led by Reverend Jim Hughes. The family asks that donations in her memory be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association's website.
