A hotel cleaner in Mexico once found a hidden peephole which provided full view of the bathroom in the next room. It turns out the room was being rented by a long-term occupant who had been spying on other guests taking their showers and getting dressed.

At a beautiful hotel in the centre of Beijing, a cleaner was re-organising the room ready for the next guests. As she opened the mini-fridge to restock the contents, she was shocked to find it full of vacuum-packed meat. But it turned out that it wasn’t animal meat, it was human flesh…

A cleaner at a hotel in London was shocked to find the walls of one of the rooms plastered with photos of the same woman. The occupant of the room had clearly been stalking the woman as there were images of her walking through the street, at restaurants and through the window of her home.

A hotel in Ohio had an Amish community staying for the weekend, when they got a call from another guest complaining of a foul smell from one of the rooms. The cleaner went to inspect it to find dead animals covering the room. A half-skinned deer carcass was lying in the bath and dead fish were hung from hooks in the bathroom.

The cleaner of a hotel in Poland found something very unusual sat on the bed in one of the rooms…a pair of human breast implants. The male occupant of the room never called back to claim the missing items, so the mystery of the implants was never solved.

This will leave shivers running down your spine…after self-check out, the cleaner went up to the room to find the lock on the door had been damaged. After making her way in she found scratch marks running along the walls of the room, which had been left in a complete mess.

A cleaner at a large hotel in London was shocked to find life-size cardboard cut-outs of the royal family creepily organised around one of the rooms. This included the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

At a small bed and breakfast in a rural town in Scotland, the cleaner was shocked to walk into a room and find an array of animals lined up on the bed. But they weren’t alive…they had been stuffed, and there were blood stains all over the sheets.

Just like a scene from a horror movie, an unlucky cleaner faced her worst nightmare in a small bed and breakfast in a rural village in Ireland. As she was about the change the bedding, she discovered a large axe under one of the pillows…the man occupying the room never returned.

The guest staying in the room claimed he had no idea how they got there...the owner was never found.

An old couple had checked out of the hotel, but when the cleaner went up to the room she was shocked to find a baby lying on the bed. As she got closer, she discovered it was actually a doll. They had even added a breathing mechanism so it would resemble a real life baby.

At a hotel in Berlin, a cleaner was shocked to enter one of the rooms to find it had been stripped of all furniture. Not a trace had been left, the room was completely empty. Nobody knew how the guest had managed to remove the contents of the room without anyone noticing.

It turns out the hand belonged to a man who had been murdered by a drug cartel, who accidentally left it behind. The unfortunate cleaner working at the hotel found it under the bed.

At the time, the worker was a young woman of 16 who knocked and entered the bathroom of a holiday cottage, expecting it to be empty so she could clean it. Instead, there was a naked and aroused man sat there with a huge grin on his face. The worker ran out of the house.

This is only one example of when a dead body was found in a hotel room, but there are so many stories out there from workers and maids who find dead bodies as part of their job. This cleaner said that a man ran out of his room in a panic because his friend's dead body was in the hotel room after they'd attended a music festival the previous day.

34. Sex Toys

35. A Room Covered In Poop

This hotel maid, who was a teenager at the time, was being hit on by a creepy old man, and every time she went to clean his room, he would place an unused condom in the top drawer (left open) of his dresser.

45. A Baby - An Actual Human Baby

The parents didn't return for the baby until a whopping 6 hours after they'd checked out of the room. Hopefully the maid started cleaning the room quite soon after checkout and found the baby as soon as possible!

The milk jugs were huge gallon jugs, empty, next to a whole load of containers of Quaker Oats that had been used. The person had obviously been trying to have an 'oatmeal bath'.

48. Framed Family Portraits All Over The Walls

They took it upon themselves to completely decorate the room with family pictures - not even random pictures put on the desk, but full-on framed portraits everywhere. They didn't even take them with them when they left.

49. A Live Rattlesnake

It wasn't just any old snake, either - it was a diamondback rattlesnake, which are poisonous and dangerous. It was later found out that the guest was part of the snake handler church.

Apparently BDSM toys are very commonly found in hotel rooms - and one particular person found a flogger which they then gave to their partner to use as a cat toy (it apparently went down a treat).
