This has to be one of the most creepy and life-like clowns we have ever seen…this is a still image of the actor Lon Chaney who featured in the 1928 silent film ‘Laugh, Clown, Laugh’. If this scary clown doesn’t give you nightmares we don’t know what will!
The skeleton

In this image we can see the skeleton of a whale found in the hot dunes of Egypt. The huge skeletal remains have been lined up to show the spine of the massive creature. But the real question is how did this deep sea creature end up on the scorching Egyptian sands?

Everyone recognises those pointed hats…yep, this creepy image shows members of the Ku Klux Klan or more commonly know as ‘the KKK’ riding a ferris wheel as a fairground in Colorado. The photograph was taken back in 1926, marking the dark political history of the country.

This is ‘the black crack’ which is a 65-foot deep fissure along a trail in Canyonlands National Park in Utah. Not only is it deep, but the crack is wide enough for someone to fall in and die. So if you’re ever hiking through the national park, watch your step.

Willis Tower is a 1,451-foot skyscraper in Chicago with 108 floors. Here we can see it standing tall at night, with the rest of the skyline hidden in darkness. But the Willis Tower is lit up giving the appearance of eyes staring at you…pretty creepy!

This isn’t the most conventional statue most people come across…yes, that is a beehive for a head. This statue has been designed by constructing the head out of concrete and covering it with wax to make it into a beehive which is occupied by a live colony of bees.

This photo shows just one of the corpse-dolls that he kept in his home. The human dolls lived with him as his roommates and even lovers. Fortunately, Moskvin was eventually caught.
Blanche Monnier: Kept Captive For 25 Years

When they searched the home, they found a locked door to an attic kept in darkness - inside of which was a middle-aged woman, skeletal, lying on straw with her own excrement, insects and rotting food. She later died.

Mary Reeser's landlady entered her apartment when she found that the door felt strangely hot. What she found inside were the remains of Mary: namely, a pile of ash, the burned remains of a chair and part of her left leg and skull. When there was no proof of any cause of fire, it's believed that Mary spontaneously combusted.
Michael Rockefeller And The Cannibal Tribe

Michael Rockefeller (pictured here) was the famous son of a New York governor, who disappeared in Papua New Guinea during his travels. His body has never been found, and he has now been declared as legally dead. It's believed that he was actually killed and eaten by the Asmat people: a group of cannibals who are known for beheading enemies and eating them.
A Piglet Mutated From Chernobyl

The Frozen Man Of Mount Everest

He then fell into a hypothermic coma as temperatures plummeted. He suffered frostbite on his nose and hands, which later had to be amputated, but luckily he did survive.
The Final Moments Of Omayra Sánchez

She was pinned underneath the remains of her house, with her head and arms left above the floodwater. Rescuers tried for almost three days to free her but they couldn't get her out, and she slowly died as she caught gangrene and hypothermia. This photograph was taken just before she died.
The Final Moments Of A Tsunami Victim

The tsunami went on to strike Hawaii, killing over 170 people and going down in history as one of Hawaii's worst disasters. This message shows Heirens begging to be caught so that he could stop his crimes, because he couldn't control himself. The note was left after he'd stabbed Frances Brown and left her with the knife in her neck.
