30 Signs You Have A Negative Aura

1. People avoid you

If you give off a negative aura, people around you can certainly sense it.  It might be things that you say, how you act toward others, but a lot of the time, most people are pretty adept at sensing negative energy.  This may cause them to completely avoid you.

2. Negative people appear everywhere you go

If you are constantly feeling negative, you'll probably find out that there are negative people everywhere you go.  And this is almost definitely a product of how you feel.  It's not that the people you meet are necessarily negative, it's probably because you are just choosing to see the negative in them.

3. You have trouble making friends

And if you see only the negative in people, this is inevitably going to make you want to avoid them too.  So with them avoiding you, and you making the choice to avoid them, it is always going to be completely impossible for you to make any meaningful connections with anyone.

4. Others aren't happy in your company

If you're always feeling pessimistic and seeing the worst in people, it's likely that you are not going to have anything decent, or uplifting to say to them.  But even if you don't attempt to bring them down, your energy will always rub off on other people and make them feel bad too.

5. You don't interact well with others

With a negative aura, you are going to find it insanely difficult to interact well with other people.  Communication will become strained and challenging, and you might find yourself not wanting to interact with others at all, avoiding any form of contact.

6. You have a lot of arguments

And if communication is difficult, and relationships are strained, you are going to find yourself dealing with rather a lot of confrontations.  People may not be able to hold their tongue around you when you act so pessimistically all of the time, and you might find that you don't understand their point of view at all.

7. Your friends are always too busy

You realize one day that you haven't seen your pals for a while because they all seem to be busy all of the time.  And you ask yourself: have they just got a lot on at the moment or are they avoiding you?  And the thing is, you won't know because they have stopped speaking to you!

And then you find that your phone has stopped pinging.  You can see that the messages you've sent have been read (those blue ticks are useful!) so you try to call, but it just rings out.  You find that even your closest friends begin to do this to you, and you might even experience a partner doing it too.  And it doesn't feel good.

And part of being avoided means that no one wants you to spark up a conversation with them.  Even in line at the store, you might find that complete strangers are looking down and shuffling away from you.  Remember, people can sense negativity and they don't want to let it into their lives!

If you are lucky enough for people to want to communicate with you, usually your closest friends and family members, they always ask you what's wrong.  And they genuinely care - that's exactly why they are asking.  But this won't last forever, however strong you think your relationships are, you can only push people so far.

Being avoided can come in many forms.  There are the more obvious methods where people ghost you and hide in a box when you walk past.  But people usually start off being much more subtle, and they may fold their arms or cross their legs away from you, closing off their body language to you.

12. Your friends don't share anything with you

You're being ghosted and you don't really know why because your friends have stopped talking to you.  You're lucky if you get past any small talk because they no longer seem to see you as someone they can confide in you with anything at all.  If you can't be positive in yourself, you're not going to be able to give any decent advice or understanding.

13. You don't get invited to anything

You constantly have absolute FOMO, the fear of missing out.  And the truth it, you do actually ALWAYS miss out because people have stopped inviting you to anything.  You see people on your socials partying, and you wonder why they haven't asked you along.

Being so negative all the time is absolutely exhausting.  And being tired all the time makes you feel a bit down in the dumps.  You may be actively avoiding any positivity at all and it makes you sleepy.  And you're always wondering why you're being ghosted, and staying up late to scroll through socials, constantly checking profiles to see what people are doing so you can gossip about them.

15. Animals avoid you

And your aura's so negative, that animals even avoid you.  Your cat doesn't curl up on your knee and your dog no longer excitedly greets you when you walk through the door.  Instead, they hide away and find somewhere else to go because animals are even better than humans at sensing someone's aura.

Your pets are faced with always having to anticipate your pessimism and negative moods.  And you might notice that your dog begins to seem pretty anxious around you, choosing to hide away when you're around, keeping his head down, and nervously staring at you with his huge eyes.

17. Your friends don't ask you for advice

You're definitely not the go-to for any advice at all.  In fact, you give pretty bad advice and you've done it so much that your friends certainly know it.  Remember that time you told them to wear that massive hat for their work interview because they won't

  So they avoid asking you for your opinion because they don't want to be tarred with the same negative brush as you.

18. Opportunities pass you by

You've got a reputation at work for your poor attitude so bosses always overlook you for promotions because they don't want to put their necks on the line for you.  And submerging further and further into this negative sinkhole provides you with the inability to grow and change.  And you remain stagnant.

No one invites you out and you're so exhausted that you're spending way too much time inside, away from the sunshine.  And the stress of being avoided, along with the complete lack of Vitamin D on your face completely dulls your skin and makes it break out.

Being exhausted and isolated all of the time can have detrimental effects on your motivation.  Your to-do list just gets bigger and bigger and you're not ticking anything off it.  And it's because your negative energy is seeping into every aspect of your being and even the smallest tasks are beginning to feel impossible.

21. You can't get organized at all

Putting tasks off like this makes you less able to keep anything in your life organized.  You can no longer see the floor of your bedroom because of all of the scattered laundry you keep meaning to pick up.  And it gets worse!  You're even forgetting those few plans you managed to make and standing people up!

You're so submerged by the weight of your negative aura that you are blinded by it, and it's so difficult to be able to see the positive things in your life.  And it makes you feel so bad that you're always complaining about anything and everything you possibly can.

When you do manage to make contact with another human being, you don't only complain about everything, but you also can't stop yourself from gossiping!  Any juicy tale, however minuscule, will be spewed out from your lips like projectile vomit that you just can't control.

Having such a negative aura inevitably makes you retreat inwards and close up because your problems are always way worse than anyone else's.  And you spend so much time thinking about your own problems that you just don't have time to spare for anyone else.

Your negativity fills you with an ocean of self-pity so you constantly feel like everyone around you is out to get you.  You constantly play the victim and use this to turn other people against each other.  And you're always seeking comfort from others, so much that you start to suck the lives out of them.

So the saying goes: if you put out negative energy, you will certainly attract negative energy.  And even if you buy into the
opposites attract 
idea, that positive person that has been so understanding begins to be pushed to their limits and you may even start to repel them.  Either that or you bring them down with you so you become two pessimistic peas in a pod.

27. You resent other people

So all of your old pals are out partying and having wonderful experiences together.  And you obviously know about it because you've continued to stalk them on their socials.  This feeds your negative aura and makes you feel incredibly resentful and bitter, wondering why you've been neglected.

No one's ever good enough for you.  And you feel that even your best and most loyal buddies are bound to all have dark secrets and flaws buried beneath the surface and it's your job to find them.  And then gossip, or complain about them to someone else.

Everyone's out there living their lives, being successful, meeting new people, and laughing.  They're always laughing.  And you want to do all of that too.  But you feel like you can't, you're completely trapped under your blanket of negativity and you feel like you can't do all of that amazing stuff others are doing.  So you don't.  You just watch in disgust instead.

30. You struggle to communicate

Negative energy will always create self-doubt and you begin to feel less confident about starting a conversation.  Maybe you're so conscious of your negativity, or you have been criticized about it, that you find it impossible to strike up any form of communication.  So you end up shutting off and keeping your thoughts to yourself which feeds your neverending cycle of lowness.  And you want something to break this cycle.  Could communication be just the thing?
