Body Language Signs He Is A Cheater

1. There's hesitation in his speech

If you notice a big change in your guy's speech pattern, it could be a sign that he's lying to you! If he's using a lot of filler words like "um" and "well," and there's hesitation in his speech, he's trying to buy time to build a better lie. When someone's lying, they tend to do this subconsciously, so keep an ear out for it!

2. He's blinking A LOT

Did you know that rapid blinking is considered a sign that someone is worried about getting caught in a lie? It's a symptom of anxiety and/or guilt and shame. Studies show that someone who is lying blinks up to 8 times more after they lie than they would in a normal setting. So be sure to look for this subtle clue!

3. He's putting more effort into his appearance

Sad, but true. If your man suddenly undergoes a complete physical transformation, it could be a sign he's met someone new. If you notice your man has a new workout routine, better hygiene or an entirely new wardrobe, get those Spidey senses working and pay attention!

Of course, if your partner is being unfaithful, it's probably causing him some degree of stress. If you notice he's having a lot of mood swings or the vibe seems overall tense, it could be a sign. Especially if you know there's nothing else that would be causing this stress. So if you start picking up on these signs, maybe ask him about it!

When you're having a normal conversation with your partner, notice his posture. If he's slouched over, it could show signs of guilt or shame. It represents retreating to the fetal position for safety. Most people do this when they know they've done something wrong. He could also rock back and forth slightly when talking to you.

This one seems pretty basic, but it's true for a reason. If someone is trying to hide something from you, the eye contact is one of the first things to change. Making eye contact can be uncomfortable for him if he's cheating, because of feeling shame or feeling uncomfortable from keeping a secret.

Guys who are cheating will not want you ANYWHERE near their phone. In fact, you may notice they get incredibly jumpy when you are near it. Be careful though, because sometimes he'll get a second phone to avoid this situation. If you notice he's leaving the room to take calls, just be aware!

He's trying to gaslight you into thinking that your thoughts or feelings are laughable. It shows a lack of interest in you and what you're saying, because he's preoccupied with something or someone else.

So if you notice your partner on the phone with someone, and he's speaking in a deep voice usually only reserved for you in the bedroom, it's time to be concerned!

Keep your guard up and pay attention. He's trying to convince you of something, so watch his actions as much as his words!

This might sound kind of weird, and of course, everyone showers. But if your guy starts to shower the second he gets home and this isn't something he's done in the past, he might be cheating. Why? He's trying to make sure there's no evidence of another woman on him. So if he rushes to the shower without giving you a hug or greeting you... red flag!

But when a guy is displaying sexual flattery or interest, he will fsplay his chest or his legs - essentially opening himself up. This is considered alpha behavior that is in his nature whether he wants it to be or not!

This is another gesture that shows you this person is being closed off and not opening up to you in conversation. If he's lying, he may stand with his arms cross, showing potential guilt. This is considered a defensive stance that's used for protection or even self-soothing when they're feeling anxious or caught in a lie.

If your partner is moving away from you, flinches at your touch, or turns his phone away from you when you come in close, these are considered negative cluster cues and could indicate something shady going on!

If he's offering extra hugs and kisses, it might be too clear a guilty conscious. Basically, keep an eye out for any sudden shifts in behavior and body language, as it is a sign that something is off.
