TikTok Influencer Kaelin Bradshaw Dies at 29 — Details
Behind every post and hospital update, the TikTok creator shared not just her reality, but her resolve — turning pain into purpose and fear into something her followers could hold on to. Her journey, marked by honesty and extraordinary courage, became a beacon of hope for thousands who watched her face the unthinkable with quiet strength.
Social media influencer Kaelin Bradshaw, known for her raw, heartfelt health updates and unwavering messages of resilience, has passed away at the age of 29. Her passing was confirmed by her husband, Austin Bradshaw, and her father, Mark Bradshaw, in emotionally charged social media posts.
On Facebook, her father wrote, "It is with a heavy heart, we lost our beloved angel today. Thank you for the love, prayers and support that everyone has shown our family, it means more now than ever. Kaelin- Your light touched so many people, and your memory will forever shine in our hearts. Rest in peace my love you will be dearly missed. #Kae #ForeverInOurHearts [sic]."
Austin broke the heartbreaking news in a somber video on TikTok. "Our beautiful girl passed [away on] October 27 at 1:27 a.m., holding my hand [...] Her room was surrounded by the love and compassion of our entire family," he said.
Only months before her death, Kaelin faced a devastating discovery.

Kaelin was just 28 when she received the shocking diagnosis: cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. The disease, as described by the Mayo Clinic, begins in the slender tubes that carry bile from the liver to the small intestine and is most commonly found in people over 50. Often discovered only after it has progressed, treatment is rarely successful.

Austin said she had promised to keep fighting, and she did — right up until her final moments, when her body could no longer bear the toll of the disease.

In a profoundly personal YouTube video, Kaelin opened up about her diagnosis. "Recently, I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma. My name is Kae, and my goal in creating this video is to share my story and maybe potentially help others in the future," she revealed, adding that she had been misdiagnosed twice before the cancer was discovered.
Kaelin continued to update her followers with raw, emotional TikTok posts, painting a portrait of incredible bravery and hope in the face of terrifying odds. On October 12, she shared, "The tumor in my liver got bigger."

"So they just moved me into my new hospice room [...] My hospital doesn't have an outpatient to palliative care to hospice. It's either outpatient, ER, or then you go to hospice. So ultimately, I decided to choose hospice just because the hospital is right next door, and if there was an emergency, I would be able to just go straight to the ER."

Tearing up, she added, "I do not qualify for chemo right now just because my body is still recuperating from everything that's been happening. The only thing that's scaring me is that I had to sign a DNR to get here. So, I did sign a DNR in my twenties."

She also shared the growing financial burden of treatment, noting that her husband had taken on multiple jobs to keep up with the medical expenses. Despite the uncertainty, her message reflected a quiet determination — a focus on hope, love, and taking each day as it came.
