Meghan Trainor made waves at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala, but it wasn't the shimmering white gown that left fans gasping. The "All About That Bass" singer's dramatically different face unleashed a frenzy of internet chatter, with stunned onlookers questioning whether they were even looking at the same person.

Wearing a glittering white Alin Le' Kal gown, Trainor looked every bit the Hollywood starlet on November 8. Her off-shoulder satin tunic, heavy diamond sparkle detailing around the waist, matching elbow-length gloves, and tulle underskirt that pooled elegantly at her feet were enough to make fashion lovers swoon.

She completed the showstopping look with a diamond choker and earrings, and her hair was swept up in a vintage-style updo, with two soft strands framing her face.

But when photos began circulating online, fans and critics alike were quick to notice the striking change in her face, and they didn't hold back.

One person bluntly stated, "Doesn't look like her in face [sic]." Another comment cut deeper, "For some reason all that weight loss really changed her face in a very unbecoming way. Not trying to be rude, just honest."

Trainor has already opened up about her weight loss and cosmetic procedures. Back on March 31, she took to Instagram to voice her frustration over the fact that her appearance was grabbing more headlines than her Billboard recognition as a hitmaker.

The singer revealed that her transformation was tied to a major health journey. After working closely with a dietician and committing to lifestyle changes, she also turned to Mounjaro, a well-known weight loss drug, to shed the extra pounds from her second pregnancy.

And she didn't stop there.

In a video posted to her YouTube channel in November 2024, Trainor got even more candid. She admitted to getting too much Botox and lip filler, enhancements she regretted.

"And now I can't unsee it. Everywhere I go, I cannot smile. My face hurts to smile, to even try," Trainor confessed. This experience made her realize how much her grin truly meant to her.

Her brother assured her that the effects weren't permanent. But the revelations kept coming.

Trainor disclosed that she wanted to get breast lift surgery after feeling uncomfortable with how her body had changed post-pregnancy, particularly when it came to dressing up for glamorous events and going on tour.

And while she hasn't confirmed it herself, experts suspect even more has changed.

Dr. Brian Reagan, a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Newport Beach, California, weighed in. "You can see some definite transformation in her facial appearance over the last five years," he told Glam. "But if you look closely, it appears Meghan also may have had a rhinoplasty, as the dorsum of her nose appears to have been reduced."
