Robbie Williams, 51, Fears He May Lose One of His Senses

The 51-year-old star has sounded the alarm over a worrying side effect that's left him questioning whether he's putting his wellbeing on the line.

Robbie Williams has revealed a growing fear about his health, and he's warning others to take notice. The singer believes a weight-loss drug he takes may be behind a worrying change he's been experiencing.

"I was quite an early adopter of the jabs but what I'm also noticing is that my eyesight's not very good," Williams said. "It's been blurry for a while now, and it's only getting worse. I don't believe it's age; I believe it's the jabs."

The drug in question is Mounjaro, often used for weight management. Though it helped him slim down, Williams said it's come at a cost to his eyesight, and by the time of his recent tour, the changes became hard to ignore.

"[...] There's this thing I do where I sing 'She's the One' to a girl every night. Basically, I was looking in the direction of these women looking up at me, having this experience that's quite obviously incredible to them, and little do they know I can't see them," he revealed.

Williams admitted he'd already seen an optician and changed his prescription — but hadn't yet linked it to the injections.

The musical star said his intention in speaking out was to help others be more informed, noting, "Of course it's worrying and by being honest today, obviously I want to warn people reading this of the potential risks — to make sure they do their research."

Still, he hasn't stopped the treatment. "But seriously, I'm that sick I'd probably stay on it until the sight in one eye has completely gone," he added.

Back in 2023, he had already spoken openly about using weight loss medication. "Babe, I'm on Ozempic. Well, something like Ozempic," he revealed.

"[...] It's like a Christmas miracle. I've gone from 13st 13lb to 12st 1lb. And I need it, medically. I've been diagnosed with type 2 self-loathing. It's shockingly catastrophic to my mental health to be bigger," the singer continued.

Mental health has been a recurring theme for Williams. In October 2025, he revealed he had ADHD, depression, acrophobia, and often felt isolated. He described himself as an "Olympian at masking" and said fame had intensified his struggles.

Earlier in the year, he spoke of a depressive spell that hit him unexpectedly. "The year started with some ill mental health, which I haven't had for a very, very long time. I was sad, I was anxious, I was depressed," he admitted.

"I thought this was the end of my story, and that I would just go walking into this marvelous wonderland. So for it to return was just confusing," he added.

Over the years, he's credited anti-depressants for helping him regain balance. In 2016, Williams admitted, "[...] I tried this anti-depressant and things have changed. The demons are quiet."

Then, by the end of 2024, he said things had finally started to shift. "There's been a couple of decades, maybe a bit more, of just depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, dyslexia, dyscalculia — all the things we diagnose our friends with at dinner parties, I've got them," he began.

"Through working on myself, through seeking help and taking help, and through the love of a good woman and four kids, I'm in the best place that I've ever been," he continued.

Now, as he faces a new challenge, Robbie Williams remains open and unfiltered. However, his journey has been anything but ordinary. Continue reading to see how his life and look have evolved over the years in telling photographs.
