Sierra Towers Penthouse of Sharon and Late Ozzy Osbourne Hits the Market
Located in one of West Hollywood's most prestigious high-rises, the listing comes not only as part of a broader move back to the UK, but also in the wake of personal loss and a farewell that is both literal and deeply symbolic.
Just four months after the death of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, a penthouse he had shared with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, officially hit the market.

The couple's one-bedroom unit at Sierra Towers in West Hollywood was listed at $2.375 million — approximately £1.9 million — following its original purchase in 2022 for $2.25 million — approximately £1.8 million.
Located on the 10th floor of the celebrity-favoured high-rise, the 1,200-square-foot apartment was one of two units the Osbournes owned in the building. The larger of the two had been sold the year before for $4.35 million — around £3.6 million.

The home showcased an understated yet refined style throughout. The open-plan living space featured a wall of mirrored panels, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and glossy stone floors that extended into a galley-style kitchen.

The kitchen was fitted with butter yellow cabinetry, sleek appliances, and a breakfast bar suitable for casual dining or entertaining.

The bedroom suite included a built-in desk, a private terrace, and a spacious walk-in wardrobe. Its ensuite bath offered dual basins, a soaking tub lined with green tile, and another mirrored wall that enhanced the sense of space.

Outside, a second terrace opened to sweeping canyon views, framed by hills dotted with multi-million-dollar homes and lush greenery.

As with all residences in Sierra Towers, the unit came with access to 24/7 security, valet parking, a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, and a steam room — amenities that defined luxury high-rise living in Los Angeles.
Estate agents Jonah Wilson, Josh Greer, and Rudy Serrato of Carolwood Estates held the listing. The listing also came amid a cooling Los Angeles housing market.

According to reports, in October 2025, the median sale price in the city sat at $1 million — roughly £820,000 — reflecting a 2.4 percent drop from the previous year.
Still, price per square foot had ticked up slightly to $643 — around £525 — suggesting continued demand for well-located, move-in-ready homes.
However, while the market fluctuated, the Osbourne family faced a far more personal loss. Ozzy's death in July 2025 marked the end of an era for one of music's most distinctive voices.

In a November 2025 podcast, Sharon sat down with their children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, to reflect on the rock legend's final days. She explained that Ozzy faced many health complications before his passing, including a fractured vertebra, an injury that left him in severe back pain and resulted in a hospital stay.

"It started a domino effect," Sharon said. "He was in so much pain. He had to go into hospital." During his stay, Ozzy developed pneumonia, which further worsened his condition. She added:
"With the pneumonia and his vertebrae, he was just so uncomfortable."

Though Ozzy's health had been fragile, his wife made it clear years earlier that their decision to return to the UK had not been driven by his medical condition.

By 2022, the couple had already listed their Hancock Park mansion for $18 million — around £14.8 million — and prepared to relocate to their historic Welders House estate in Buckinghamshire, complete with renovations including a pool, air-conditioning, and a recording studio.

"I knew people would think that," Sharon said at the time. "It's not. It's just time. America has changed so drastically. It isn't the United States of America at all. Nothing's united about it. It's a very weird place to live right now."
Ozzy's explanation had been far less diplomatic. "Everything's [expletive] ridiculous there. I'm fed up with people getting killed every day," he declared. "And I don't want to die in America. [...] I'm English. I want to be back."

Still, despite Ozzy's discontent with the country he once called home, the Osbourne family did acknowledge moments of kindness from some unexpected places.
On the same November 2025 podcast episode, the family played a voicemail Sharon had received from President Donald Trump, who had offered his condolences.

"Hi Sharon, it's Donald Trump and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family [...]. Ozzy was amazing. He was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I want to tell you he was unique in every way and talented. [...] Say hello to the family. Thanks. Bye," he is heard saying.

Sharon's response was candid and measured. "Listen, I'm not American. I can't vote. I don't want to vote. I don't vote for anyone. Never have, never will," she said before adding:
"But the thing is, all I know is he's treated me with respect, your father with respect. He wanted nothing from us. Nothing. Melania the same. Nothing. And they have been great."
As the Osbourne family closes a chapter in Los Angeles, the listing of their Sierra Towers penthouse represents not just a real estate opportunity, but a symbolic departure from a country that once embraced, and ultimately exhausted, one of rock's most unforgettable figures.
