But while the famous pair made their way down the red carpet in signature dramatic style, all eyes were on Kelly — and not for the reasons she might have hoped.

Sharon cut a striking figure in a sharply tailored black suit with a long, structured blazer layered over a matching waistcoat and wide-leg trousers. A crisp white shirt and polka-dotted black tie added contrast, while her silver bird-shaped brooch and tinted glasses lent her the familiar flair of rock royalty.

Standing beside her, Kelly stunned in a floor-length black velvet gown with a feathered overlay sweeping across her shoulders and upper chest. Her platinum blonde bob was styled with blunt bangs, and her makeup included a smoky eye, and a nude lip.

A silver cross necklace gleamed against the velvet, drawing the eye to the centre of her chest. But even as the cameras flashed and the interviews rolled, the mood online was beginning to shift.

A video of the pair speaking with reporters quickly went viral — not for what was said, but for how they looked.
"Kelly is screaming for help 😢," one concerned fan posted. "What happened to Kelly??? 😳😳😳😳," another demanded. "I mean this in the kindest way... please, please Kelly get help ❤️," a third pleaded.

As more footage surfaced, the commentary turned cruel, with others piling on in ways both callous and cutting.
"Jesus. Don't they have anyone in their life capable of being honest with them?" one netizen wrote. "They look seriously scary 😱🫣🫣🫣," another said, while someone else added, "Ozzy would've been horrified at the sight of he's [sic] family 😢😢😢."
Despite the vitriol, some tried to offer compassion. One fan called out the hypocrisy of the online discourse, writing, "Take a look at the comments and all the people in them saying well we don't know what she's going through. Obviously hell. She's obviously going through hell and not handling it very well."

Kelly, who accepted Ozzy's award alongside Sharon during the ceremony, stayed composed throughout the night — but behind the scenes, she was clearly shaken. The morning after the event, she addressed the backlash in an emotional Instagram Stories post, confronting the cruelty head-on.
"There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something," Kelly wrote on Sunday morning. "Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most."

She continued, "None of it proves strength, it only reveals a profound absence of character. I'm currently going through the hardest time of my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way."

This isn't the first time Kelly has hit back at online trolls. In recent months, she's faced constant criticism and speculation over her dramatic weight loss, with her latest appearance only reigniting the conversation.

Back in December, the internet exploded in whispers after the longtime TV personality stepped out looking dramatically different — her sharp cheekbones, gaunt frame, and sullen expression sparking accusations of Ozempic use and concern over her health.
But while the world watched in mourning as rock legend Ozzy Osbourne was laid to rest in July 2025, what many failed to grasp months later was this: Kelly was still deep in the grip of raw, private grief.
With emotions running high and trolls out in full force, Kelly and her mother Sharon unleased a raw, unapologetic response to the cruel criticism — and they didn't hold anything back.

Appearing on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on Wednesday, 10 December, Sharon addressed the firestorm engulfing her daughter. The host played a clip from Kelly's emotional Instagram Stories rant, where she directly confronted the onslaught of vile comments:
"To the people who keep thinking they're being funny and mean, writing comments like, 'Are you ill?' or 'Get off Ozempic!' or 'You don't look right' — my dad just died."

"And I'm doing the best that I can," she said. "The only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life, not the miserable side of my life. So to all those people, [expletive] off."
The rawness of her words was met with laughter from Morgan, who smirked and declared, "That is an Osbourne!"
When Piers turned to Sharon for her take on the clip, the no-nonsense matriarch took her daughter's side.
"She's right. You know, she's right," Sharon affirmed. "And if she's happy that she can't eat — well, she's not happy, she's lost her daddy, she can't eat right now."
As for the online tormentors relentlessly attacking Kelly's appearance? Sharon didn't mince words, saying, "It's a shield for people that are unhappy."

"First, I want to start by saying I received so many lovely, lovely messages from people that have really helped me get through this time in my life since losing my father," she began.
"But I also received some disgusting, horrible, mean, brutal comments. And I'm just here, sat like — what do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now?"
"The fact that I'm getting out of bed and facing my life and trying should be more than enough and I should be commended for that."

Kelly then turned the mirror on her detractors.
She told those leaving harsh comments that they should take a long, honest look at themselves, suggesting that much of what they were saying about her was likely a reflection of their own insecurities.
In another heartbreakingly honest video, she added, "You say that I look ill. Well I am ill right now. My life is completely flipped upside down. I don't understand why people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when it's not."

Kelly saved her most devastating observation for last — one that cut deeper than any anonymous insult. She revealed her heartbreak over the fact that many of the cruelest comments came from other grown women — those she had hoped would show compassion, not contempt.
"Women that say they're counselors, women that are mothers, women who look like they have weight struggles of their own, and it's absolutely devastating that women can't support other women," she lamented.

"They'd rather tear them down when their dad just died. It's disgusting and I've had enough of it. So, go [expletive] yourself," she concluded.
Her pain was palpable. Her fury? Justified.
