But the conversation soon took an unexpected turn.

When Directo asked about her glamorous outfit, Fonda shifted the topic entirely. "I want to know how come Streisand was up there doing that for Redford," Fonda said. "She only made one movie with him. I made four."

Despite the playful remark, Fonda quickly shared her own admiration for the late actor. "I was always in love with him," she added. She also praised his looks, character, and influence on the industry, crediting him with helping reshape cinema and champion independent films.
