‘Gogglebox’ Star Amy Tapper Stuns Fans as She Shows Off Eight-Stone Weight Loss

She's the bubbly face fans fell in love with on their TV screens — but when the reality star appeared in her latest Instagram videos, some followers genuinely couldn't believe what they were seeing. Scroll down to see the videos and her incredible transformation for yourself.

Last month, Amy Tapper, 26, posted a striking side-by-side workout video to Instagram alongside her personal trainer, Natasha Ram, that stopped fans dead in their scrolling tracks.

The clip opens with Tapper waving cheerfully to camera in her garden — footage from the very beginning of her fitness journey — before cutting to how she looks doing the exact same gesture more recently.

The difference is breathtaking: a visibly slimmer, more confident Tapper.

The video then moves inside, where early clips of the TV star powering through arm exercises with lighter dumbbells give way to more recent footage of her lifting noticeably heavier weights — a subtle but telling measure of just how far she has come.

The workout that once looked like a battle now looks almost effortless. Tapper captioned the post with a heartfelt message of self-reflection:

"Looking back so I never forget how far I've come. 8 stone 2 pounds gone forever 💪🏼🩷"

Fans flooded the comments, completely overwhelmed. "You've done it the best way too ❤️ well done you look bloody amazing 🔥," one admirer cheered. "Truly inspirational 🙌❤️👏🔥," another marvelled.

"BEAUTY GIRL! you are INSANE! 🔥 so very very proud of everything you have achieved! Love you beyond ❤️❤️" a third gushed. The adoration didn't stop there.

"I love seeing people win, you're looking fit and well Amy 🙌" one fan beamed warmly, while another exclaimed, "Unreal! Well done 🔥🔥."

"You look like an absolute athlete Amy! Congratulations 😍" one follower swooned. "Absolutely sensational!!! So incredibly proud of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️," another raved. "Wow didn't even recognize you. You look amazing 👏 😍," someone else wrote in awe.

Days after that post, Tapper shared another deeply emotional video — also below — that had followers reaching for the tissues. In it, she is seen stepping tentatively onto the scales as Ram stands directly in front of her, a steady, supportive presence.

Amy looks down nervously — then her face breaks into pure, undiluted joy at the number beneath her feet. She begins jumping up and down, Ram immediately jumping with her, before the two women throw their arms around each other in a heartfelt embrace.

Tapper captioned the moment simply, and beautifully:

"Words will never explain this moment... not only hitting the loss of 8 stone but going over it!!! So grateful and lucky to share and celebrate these moments with you @tashelite.fitness"

The road to that scale, however, was anything but simple. Last August — when she had already shed an extraordinary seven stone — Tapper opened up about a lifelong struggle that began when she was just six years old.

It was then that her family first started seeking medical advice about her weight, beginning a cycle of doctor's appointments and unanswered questions that would continue for years.

Her blood results always came back normal. No thyroid problem. No polycystic ovaries. Nothing, medically, to explain it. Doctors were stumped. Tapper kept trying.

She tried every diet imaginable — and for a time, some of them would work. But she would reliably plateau at two to three stone of weight loss before the weight crept back on. "I have done every single diet under the sun," she told The Sun frankly.

It became, in her own words, a "constant vicious cycle" — one that eventually led her to seriously consider gastric bypass surgery. She was exhausted, and she was running out of options.

Then, in June 2024, her doctor introduced her to Mounjaro. Starting on a 2.5mg weekly dose and working her way up to 15mg, the results were life-changing in ways she had never dared to imagine.

"I'm fitting into size 18 clothes for the first time since I was 15 or 16 – it's hard for me to believe," she told the paper. And the changes went far beyond clothing sizes. "It's changed my life. I went to the theatre the other night and when I sat down, my thighs weren't touching the person next to me, or the sides of the chairs. I had room."

In September 2025, Amy took her story to "Good Morning Britain", by which point she had lost more than 7.5 stone. There, she went one step further — calling for Mounjaro to be made available on the NHS, alongside other medical weight loss options, so that others who had fought as long and as hard as she had might also find their way through.
