1. Are there any female Minions?

According to Coffin, the Minions are all guys because, “Seeing how dumb and stupid they often are, I just couldn’t imagine Minions being girls.”

12. Why are they always wearing goggles?

The minion Bob has this condition as we can see in the movie. It is the same thing that Mila Kunis, Kate Bosworth and the late David Bowie also had.

15. They were created by a single strand of mutated DNA.

Then in Despicable Me 2 the voices were done purely by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud.
