Lewis Hamilton - the ultimate F1 icon with the most F1 wins. He, it turns out is a Mercedes man. He purchased the plug-in hybrid Mercedes AMG-One, one for him and one for his father. It costs around $2.72 million US dollars. He also has two-thirds of what is known as the holy trinity of hyper-cars: the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1.

2. Sebastian Vettel

 Image Source/ Scuderia FansSebastian Vettel has a pretty impressive car in real life and he is not the first famous owner of it. His prized possession has to be his Ferrari F40. And, it was also once owned by opera singer Luciano Pavarotti. This car has quite the famous history.

3. Mark Webber

He describes it as ''stunning any way you look at it and I've been fortunate enough to drive one. That being said, I haven't driven a Porsche 959 and I'd very much like to do that.”

The famous F1 Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc made a very grand entrance indeed when he turned up to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix this year when he showed up in his personalised Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. A very pricey Ferrari costing around $774,900 dollars.

Being a McLaren driver, his loyalty lies with the McLarens and the young F1 driver has of course owned a few of his own as well as his cars on the track. His personal car of choice is the McLaren 720S. It is powered by an impressive 4.0-litre V8 engine that can go from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and it can drive up to the speed of 212 mph.

This is the popular F1 driver Carlos Sainz's car of choice... the McLaren 720S. And he also had a 600LT Spider during his time driving at Woking. It is a racing car that perfectly combines both speed and luxury and it comes in at around 307 00 dollars.

10. Pierre Gasly

 Image Source/TwitterPierre Gasly’s car of choice is one that is very much underestimated. His personal car that he drives and loves is the third-generation Honda NSX. This is not a normal Honda by any means. And, it was impressively gifted to him by Honda’s very own vice-president.

14. Max Verstappen

The AMG GT offers a slick, reliable performance and a perfect all-rounder of a car. It is priced at around an estimated $256,000. His car has a matt black finish.

19. Kevin Magnussen

21. Zhou Guanyu

Now. he's in his first year with the Alfa Romeo F1 Team. He chooses to drive an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio in his spare time.

22. Alexander Albon

His favourite car currently to drive is the Aston Martin DBX - the only F1 driver with this choice of personal car.

24. Nico Hülkenberg

He is 34 years old and after his brief role he has now decided to return to his role as the squad's reserve and development driver. This tractor is his favourite vehicle to drive.

25. Nicholas Latifi

 Image Source/ WikiThis is Jenson Button's Mercedes-Benz C63. His favourite car of choice. He is one of the drivers on the list with less prominence in the F1 field as of yet. And so, his car of choice is a little less crazy. But this is his favourite to drive in his personal life.

28. Felipe Massa

Image Source/ YouTubeF1 professional driver Felipe Massa prefers to keep his cars a little more private - aside from when he is professionally racing. But, his personal car of choice is the Ferrari 599. It is not as luxury as some of the others but still a very nice car indeed.

29. Kimi Räikkönen

Image Source/ WikipediaThis is Kimi Räikkönen's Ferrari Enzo which the successful F1 driver currently drives. He is one of the F1 drivers with one of the craziest car collections. He definitely prefers flashy and speedy to humble and reliable like some of the other drivers.

30. Alain Prost

Image Source/ WikipediaThis of course is not Prost's car now. But it was his favourite: "The first car that I bought myself was an Opel Kadett -- but a Kadett GT! You know, it was almost a rally car -- yellow and black -- and that was perfect." It was also ironically the only car he crashed.
