Here Are All The Women Linked To Elvis Presley
Priscilla Beaulieu

Source: PinterestElvis met his only wife at a party whilst stationed in Germany during his military years. The 10 year age gap was somewhat noticeable, given that he was 24 and she only 14! Quite naturally, her parents were far form impressed.
"I'll never forget it," Priscilla told Closer in 2017, "My father said, ‘Absolutely not! [and] My mother said, ‘I won’t let you walk across the street to see Elvis Presley!’ I knew this was going to be a battle."
Going long distance

Source: Eonline.comDespite the obstacles, the pair got on well enough to survive a 2 year, long distance relationship when Presley was sent back to the US. Phone calls, photos and love letters were exchanged, until Priscilla was close to finishing high school, moving to Memphis during her senior year to live with Elvis’ father and stepmother.
A semi-shotgun wedding

Source: VougeSoon enough, Priscilla was living with Elvis at Graceland. Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' manager, became increasingly concerned about the optics of a minor living with The King, and insisted he propose. Elvis had not been the most faithful boyfriend (see below!) and apparently cried quite a bit about his impending marriage. He went through with it though, and the pair were married in May 1967.
Two become three

Source: Daily MailPriscilla fell pregnant pretty pronto, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Lisa Marie, into the world on February 1, 1968.
"Elvis had a hard time dealing with me being a mother and the little girl that I was to him. I didn't know it then, but that's what I realised in later years - that he was a father to me," Priscilla revealed to Barbara Walters.

Source: Closer WeeklyThis uncomfortable truth destabilised their marriage, but ultimately, the impact of his continual affairs and her eventual, unsurprising search for love elsewhere, caused the couple to separate in 1973. By all accounts, the divorce was amicable and the pair remained close friends until Elvis' death in 1977. The impact they had on each other's lives is undeniable. Dolly Parton recalled in her memoir, that Priscilla had shared the story of Elvis singing Dolly's classic "I will always love you:" as they left the courtroom. Sweet.
Ann-Margret

Source: express.co.ukAfter turning away from the Army and embracing his creative side, Elvis began work on the movie
Viva Las Vegas in 1963. It was here he had fated meeting with co-star Ann-Margret, Before long, he had fallen head over heals for her (despite having Priscilla waiting back in Memphis.)
"Soul mates"

Source: elvis-history-blog.comThe two felt an immediate connection. They shared many things in common, Ann would reflect: their love of their families, strong belief in God... She also seemed to understand Elvis' dreams, ambitions and need for close friends in a way he never felt Priscilla did. They would often sneak away to be together after filming.
“We both felt a current, an electricity that went straight through us,” she told The New York Times. “It would become a force we couldn’t control.”
Prior commitments called

Source: express.co.ukWhen Priscilla found out about how serious the relationship was becoming, she reportedly fell into a rage, smashing a vase of flowers against the wall. The woman who Ann remarked simply "wasn't there," came crashing back into their lives.
Ann-Margret wrote: "There were other factors in Elvis’s life that forced him apart from me, and I understood them. Elvis had always been honest with me, but still, it was a confusing situation."
Enduring love

Source: Page SixEven after they were both married (to other people, obviously), Elvis would send a guitar shaped bouquet of flowers to Ann-Margaret before every performance. The lack of one before her residency slot in Las Vegas in August 1977, was ultimately the way she discovered the tragic news of his death.
Connie Stevens

Source: last.fmConnie Stevens is an extremely accomplished woman: over 30 years she has proved herself to be a multi-talented performer, producer, motion picture star, television star, broadway star, recording artist and now has a booming cosmetics empire. She also once, dated Elvis. They met when she received a phone call from The King himself inviting her to a party. She could barely believe it was him!
“I knew this was a fellow who could break your heart,” she said. “He was just so beautiful.”
A life under a hat

Source: elvis.com.auDating an international star wasn't easy. Connie spoke of Elvis' fear of going out, and how he would often wear a cap to avoid being spotted (his favourite cap was stolen by a fan on one such date.) They'd miss ends of movies as he'd be recognised by too much of the crowd. She always denied their relationship at the time which, she says, was some comfort to him and took some of the pressure off.
One of the loves of my life

Source: elvis.com.auEven though they only saw each other on and off for a couple of years, Connie told
Elvis Australia:
"He was one of the loves of my life. I could have spent a lifetime with him. And I knew it was never to be."
Her dad in particular was keen for them to end up together. Despite Connie being married twice, he believed she had the most in common with Elvis. We're sure an incredibly famous son-in-law would have had it's perks too...
Cybill Shepherd

Source: nickiswift.comStar of ABC's detective comedy-drama "Moonlighting" kept her whirlwind romance with Elvis on the DL until 1988. It only lasted a month, but Cybill was totally enamoured with the gorgeous looking, warm and great smelling (her words) King, to begin with at least.
Bringing a bit of excitement (in the bedroom)

Source: elvis-atouchofgold.comSpeaking to
TV Guide, Cybill shared perhaps her biggest impact on Elvis in their short time together. "I think that before I met him, he was [sexually] conservative, trapped in a stupid macho thing," she revealed, stating that she introduced him to some new techniques. There she stopped. Come on Cybill - do share!
The drugs ended it

Source: nickiswift.comIt was not to last, however. Cybill sights the King's dependance on drugs from "pills to go to sleep. Pills to wake up." She believed his lifestyle to be limited because of this (fair) and walked away. She later reflected that she wished she'd stayed longer to help his deal with his addiction and felt haunted by his early death.
Linda Thompson

Source: Elvis Information NetworkMiss Tennessee beauty queen and song writer Linda was only 22 when she fell for the King. The pair shared, what Linda described, as a "deep kinship" during their relationship in the 1970s. When he asked her where she had been all his life, she could only reply "growing up!" He did seem to have a thing for the younger lady...
Deal-breaking drugs (again)

Source: Vintage EverydayThe story of their romance is depressingly similar.
"After four-and-a-half years of the yo-yo back and forth of other women, up all night, sleeping all day, the drug abuse... I just realized that I probably was never gonna be able to help him the way I wanted to help him," Linda told TV host Larry King.
But the prescription drug issues were only the tip of the iceberg.
A suspicious mind

Source: Gold FM"I want to know you're mine and all mine," Elvis said to her once. He was one jealous dude. Linda attributed this to his divorce (Priscilla had moved on before they'd divorced which didn't help.) He forbade her to mention previous relationships or comment on attractive guys. That, coupled with Elvis' incredibly hypocritical infidelity, was all too much for the young beauty, who left him, via letter, in December 1976.
Tuesday Weld

Source: Daily ExpressThe same cause of death can be attributed to Elvis' short relationship with co-star Tuesday. A deep and complex gal and alcoholic by 12, Tuesday knew her own mind and pushed through her many personal challenges to star in a number of movies and TV shows. Despite referring to Elvis as "dynamite, real dynamite," she quickly tired of his controlling ways and took her self-confidence elsewhere. Good for you girl.
Ginger Alden

Source: NewsWeekStill looking to bag himself a beauty queen it seems, Elvis invited Terry Alden (the new Miss Tennessee) and her sisters, Ginger and Rosemary, to visit him at Graceland. Terry was already taken (even though she was thrilled by the invite). Ginger had just turned 20 (Elvis was 41 at this point. Dude - find someone your own age...) and immediately fell for Elvis. After a long day together and a quick peck, she left with the promise of romance ringing in her ears.
Put a ring on it

Source: The ExpressGinger recalled Elvis's proposal speech to The Express:
'Ginger, I’ve been searching for love so long, and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would find it in my own backyard. I’ve been 60% happy and 40% happy, but never 100%. I’ve loved before but I’ve never been in love. Ginger, I’m asking you, will you marry me?'
Cute, right? Even a whirlwind romance can be the real thing.
Clash of lifestyles

Source: The MirrorDespite frequent visits to Graceland and accompanying her man on occasional tours, Ginger declined to move in with Elvis, upsetting his close-knit associates. It wasn't due to lack of love however; Ginger's conservative upbringing made her uncomfortable at the thought of living together before they tied the knot and she wanted this to go the distance.
Till death do us part

Source: Classic Country MusicWhatever their differences, Ginger and Elvis remained together until his sudden death in 1977. Ginger reflect that, despite his disgruntled friends, Elvis always respected her choices and she was devastated by his death. They had spent the day planning their lives together, setting a wedding date and discussing Elvis' plans to get back in shape. A few hours later, at the age of 42, he was dead.

Not all of Elvis' conquests lead to a relationship of course. He was once accused by a friend of falling in love way too often. Erotic novelist and foodie Gael later become New York Magazine's restaurant critic, but when she met Elvis in 1956, the 21 year old was still a plucky reporter after an interview.
A little less conversation...

Source: twitterThe story, as she tells it, involves a post-press conference, hotel room liaison with The King. With minimal preamble, Elvis led her to the bedroom, where she remembers thinking : “Oh my God, this is Elvis. I’m about to do it with
Elvis!” She also remembers his asking her to order him a fried egg sandwich shortly after, before propped falling asleep. Charmer!

Not every woman was wowed by Elvis' performance between the sheets, however. Peggy caught Elvis' eye when she was the Star of ABC's hit show "The Mod Squad" and their relationship at first was 'hot and heavy,' with Peggy commenting that he "kissed like a god."
Reason #323928 to not do drugs

Source: LA TimesElvis whisked her away on a jet to Tahoe and straight to bed. Peggy recalled in her memoir "Breathing Out" that they had very little to talk about but despite all the build up, it didn't happen. Peggy blames his inability to perform on his increasing dependancy on drink and drugs. Shocking, they weren't together long. A little more action, please...
Rita Moreno

Source: doyouremember.comShe wasn't the only one left disappointed either. Rita's motives for agreeing to a date with Elvis were well known. After discovering lingerie which wasn't hers, Rita ended her 8-year relationship with sex-symbol Marlon Brando and jumped straight into Elvis' waiting arms.
"Amateur Night"

Source: doyouremember.comBut the immediate comparison ultimately proved fatal. Rita wrote, somewhat harshly,
“Whatever put the brakes on that famous pelvis, it ground to a halt at a certain point and that was it.”
The magic fizzled and that was that. Elvis was a "shy, handsome boy," she reflected, but not a patch on Brando.
Natalie Wood

Source: Closer WeeklyYou can't force romance, despite Elvis’ manager Colonel Parker's greatest efforts, his picture perfect introduction of Elvis and
Rebel Without A Cause's star Natalie didn't lead to much else. At all. The press might have gone nuts over this new couple, but she certainly wasn't as enamoured as all the hype suggested. After a disastrous family gathering where she clashed with Elvis' mother, Natalie commented to her sister:
"God, it was awful. He can sing, but he can’t do much else."
