The night before his death, Ozzy had trouble sleeping. He kept waking and going back and forth to the bathroom. At around 4:30 a.m., he turned to Sharon and said, "Kiss me," followed by, "Hug me tight."

It was a routine morning. "He used to get up early and would say, 'I've got to go down and work out,'" Sharon shared. That day, he went downstairs, exercised for about 20 minutes, and then passed away.

She remembered the moment she realized something was wrong when she heard someone screaming in the house. "I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I'm like, 'Don't, leave him, leave him. You can't. He's gone.' I knew instantly he's gone," she explained.

In the final week of his life, Ozzy began having vivid dreams. He told Sharon he was seeing unfamiliar faces he had never met before. Sharon recalled:

"He goes, 'All different people. And I just keep walking and walking, and I'm seeing all these different people every night, and I go back there, and I'm looking at these people, and they're looking at me. and nobody's talking.' And he knew he was ready."

In the interview with Rolling Stone, he said, "She's OK, but she's not OK. It's ups and downs. She's just trying to figure out where to go from here, how to navigate, what's the new norm, what's the new baseline, 'What do I do without my person?' [...] I'm bringing her back to L.A. this week. Actually, I'm flying over to England tomorrow, because it's her birthday on Thursday."

In another interview with "Good Morning America," posted on October 6, Jack said that Sharon could feel the warmth from those who cared for her, "God, yeah. Yeah. I know she feels the love."
