By the time the headlines hit in November 2023, fans were stunned to learn that Teyana and Iman were calling it quits. But according to TMZ, the split was no sudden decision.

Court documents obtained by the outlet revealed that Teyana had quietly filed for divorce back in January 2023, many months before the world even suspected a rift. And the allegations she made against her husband were deeply unsettling.

The legal documents describe how she felt he was "treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage."

But even when she stopped performing entirely after giving birth to one of their children, Iman reportedly flipped the narrative. Now, he was complaining she wasn't making money.
The filings expressed that his behavior during this time was "extremely emotionally and mentally abusive towards her."

Teyana, trying to help him adjust to life after basketball, sought out opportunities for him in the entertainment world. But he allegedly wanted none of it, choosing instead to stir up more conflict. That was when she made the heartbreaking decision to end the marriage in 2021.
There were brief moments of reconciliation, but those too were short-lived. She claimed Iman manipulated her into believing things could work. Each time, she said he responded with more cruelty and selfishness.

Still, the actress made every effort to keep the breakdown of their marriage out of the public eye. She filed the divorce papers using only their initials, hoping to prevent a media circus. But it was Iman's counter filing, which included their full names, that blew the truth wide open.
The court documents didn't hold back. They mentioned not only Iman's cheating scandals but also his DUI arrest and weed possession charges, all of which added to the emotional strain.

"To be 1000% clear, 'infidelity' ain't one of the reasons for our departure."

But the doctor's orders were clear. She had to wait at least six full weeks before lifting her children, as the surgery had impacted both her chest and underarms. Emotionally, it was crushing. She confessed it was the longest she had been apart from them since their birth.

In 2025, a TikToker by the name of "johnsuperboy" sent the internet into a frenzy after uploading a video dissecting alleged changes to Teyana Taylor's face, particularly her nose.

In his breakdown, which quickly racked up thousands of likes, views, and a storm of comments, he offered before-and-after comparisons from multiple angles. At first glance, the changes were almost imperceptible. But the TikToker pointed out subtle refinements that suggested a masterful touch.

According to him, Teyana's surgeon made her nose slightly smaller without resorting to a "Barbie nose" or a "white girl nose."
He went on to say that it appeared the tip of her nose had been gently lifted, making the bridge look slimmer, and that her nostrils had been slightly narrowed, all while preserving her natural beauty.

But the nose wasn't the only topic up for analysis. The netizen also suggested that Teyana might have had an eyebrow lift and an upper blepharoplasty, a procedure that enhances the shape of the upper eyelid.
