1. Ed Sheeran .... Who's the 'girl'?

Image source YouTubeFollowing the massive success of 'Galway Girl' Ed Sheeran decided to get a tat and purposely got it mis-spelled. (Do we believe that?) It reads 'Galway Grill' forever. He told James Corden it was planned and thought it looked more 'cool and edgy' that way. If you say so, Ed!

2. Harry Styles ....won't forget the lyrics!

Image source InstagramThe singer wanted a tattoo of the lyrics from The Temper Trap's 'Sweet Disposition' on his arm, but the inker had other ideas. The lyrics are 'won't stop to surrender,' but Harry's tattoo read, 'won't stop 'till we surrender'. Oops! It was Taylor Swift who brought the error to Harry's attention (when she was dating him).

3. Rihanna .... feeling rebellious!

In 2010, Rihanna got a tattoo on her neck that should have read 'rebellious flower in French. However Riri got her nouns and adjectives all muddled up and the tat is just gibberish. Even though the 'Umbrella' hitmaker tried to make out it was what she wanted, we get the impression she was bluffing.

4. Zoë Kravitz .... love is so wrong ....

Image source WiredMiss Kravitz' shoulder Arabic tattoo translates into 'Let the love the rule'. Hmm that's not what she wanted. It should have been 'Let the love rule' and once she realised, she was straight on the phone for laser treatment in an attempt to get it removed. We all make mistakes

5. Jennifer Lawrence ....watered down

Her H20 chemical symbol for water had the wrong fonts put on it and it ended up having no meaning whatsoever.

6. Zac Efron .... How many times do you live?

Image source WiredNot sure why anyone would get 'YOLO' (you only live once) tattooed on their skin as the saying was only a fad. Zac Efron had other ideas and thought it would be the best thing since sliced bread to have it done. It's either now faded or Zac has attempted to get it removed.

7. Nicole Richie ....still a virgin!

8. Kat Von D ....ex tattoo

What was she thinking? It looked ridiculous .... and then they split up. Yet another celebrity needing laser treatment.

9. Hayden Panettiere - tattoo typo

Hayden Panettiere thought a tattoo in Italian sounded so romantic but when it is incorrectly spelt, it's far from it. The translation should have read, 'Live without regrets' but the last word had a typo and had no meaning. After putting up with it for a good while she had it removed.

10. T. Pain .... don't question him

Pain or his inker should have paid more attention at school to punctuation as the apostrophe is missing and reads 'dont' instead of 'don't)!

11. Kaley Cuoco .... wedding cover-up!

www.self.comIn 2013, the 'Big Bang Theory' star had to cover up the tattoo of her wedding date as she had split up from her husband, Ryan Sweeting. She admitted it was stupid to ever get a date tattooed on yourself just in case - and that just in case happened to her. A butterfly has landed on it instead..

12. Ariana Grande .... loves to bbq!

Turns out it actually said 'schishirin' which is a Japanese barbecue grill. Oh dear! Not long afterward, she had it corrected, although she didn't because it now read 'Japanese BBQ finger'. Oh dear again!

13. Drake ....smells so sweet

Drake fans will recall that @drakkardnoir was Drizzy’s original Twitter handle. Hands up if you think it looks stupid!

14. Lady Gaga ....Heads up for the unicorn

15. Kylie Jenner .....going insane!

In 2015, cosmetics mogul and very shy Kylie Jenner, let us see the new ink on her hip. It showed the word 'sanity' but was spelled out phonetically. Barely a year later she amended the tattoo by adding 'before' in front of it. It now reads, 'before sanity' and we think she might be insane for doing that!

16. Jenni JWOWW Farley .... poor Cinderella

She went for the darker story version with Sleeping Beauty dying from an overdose and Prince Charming beating Cinderella. She said she had them done this way as that's what life is really like. Not quite the happy fairy tale end we were expecting!

17. Ed Sheeran ....big cat!

His fans were convinced it was a fake as who would get something like that done but Ed assures us it is authentic and he has absolutely no regrets at getting it done. A bit in your face if you don't mind me saying!

18. Johnny Depp - alters tattoo for Amber Heard!

Image source ET CanadaActor Johnny Depp recently updated the tattoo on his knuckles, from 'SLIM' to 'SCUM' to 'SCAM'! 'SLIM' was a reference to his ex Amer Heard and following their divorce, he changed it to 'SCUM'. After the court case, he had no choice but to change it to 'SCAM'. Whatever next Johnny!?

19. Farrah Abraham ....A bit vain!

We’re big fans of moms. But tattooing mom on yourself for “Being the amazing mom I am” might not be the wisest or most modest decision. 2013 was a simpler time.

20. Cara Delevingne ....very meaty!

Wonder if he had it done on the spur of the moment as surely you'd think twice about committing.

25. Katie Price ... thigh high!

It's quite typical of Katie as she is always showing off her body but not sure how tasteful it is.

27. Angelina Jolie – Billy Bob ooh!

Reality star, Kendall Jenner, must be a feline fan as she had 'meow' tattooed on the inside of her bottom lip. First thought are that it must have hurt so much and also why would she get it done? Unless she pulls the lip down, no one would ever know it was there so what's the point?

29. Karrueche Tran .... Zip it!

30. Lena Dunham .... giant cheese puff!

Sorry to say it looks like a giant cheese puff but, on closer inspection, shows it says 'The Odeon' which is a restaurant in New York City. Wouldn't it be easier to get leaflets done to advertise it!
