During 2012, Miami, Florida became the location of one of the most gruesome cases of cannibalism. Rudy Eugene was shot by police, after refusing to stop eating his victim's face. Canada has also been home to a gruesome case of cannibalism, which occurred during 2008. Vince Weiguang Li attacked a fellow bus passenger (Tim McLean) whilst he slept.
