'Make America Great Again'

In this unseen photo it shows a group of Trump supporters all wearing the orange Trump garments stating his infamous slogan 'Make American Great Again' which has become associated with a number of extreme view points. It is clear that these people were encouraged to riot by Trump's words.

A Man In The Senate Chamber

This man is in the senate chamber. It is clear from his backpack, clothing, and the expression on his face that this man came to make the utmost trouble possible. And, this is how close he got to the congress members who were trapped inside the building fearing for their lives.

The Trump Flags Amidst The Riots

Here is an unseen photo of the capitol riots. We can see the Trump flags being waved. These riots all started when President Donald Trump started making allegations that the vote was fraudulent ahead of his rally in D.C. This was the start of his incitement of the riots.

Mobs Storming The US Capitol

This is unseen footage of the Capitol riot which was released just as the January 6 committee hearings began. What happened on this day was terrible and we can see the hoards of people in comparison to the police who in this photo look few and far between.

Close To Congress

This unseen photo shows us just exactly how close rioters got to congress members. They are walking out of the exit sign and they are being closely tailed by rioters. As we know, during the riots a police officer was beaten, a rioter was shot, and three others died during the rampage.

The Building Surrounded By Smoke

It looks almost as though the building here is on fire due to the amount of smoke and light coming from the riots and the gas being used. From this distance we get a more accurate representation of the extent of these riots - and how many people joined them.

Storming The Barriers

This unearthed photo shows rioters desperately trying to get through a police barrier at the Capitol in Washington, whilst police members try to cling on and stop them. This was one of the photos used as evidence of the riots during the hearing. The riots were investigated by Members of the House committee.

The Celebration Of The Rioters

Amongst all the horror that was being caused on the day of this terrible event, some of the rioters were particularly pleased with themselves. Many were enjoying the chaos and screaming to the other rioters to spur them on in a celebratory manner as we can see here.

Climbing The Walls

There really was no lengths that these rioters were not willing to go to on that day. Here they are attempting to climb the walls and some people who managed to get to the top are reaching down to get them to help them over too. And, we can see the Trump flags fly again.

No Limits

Here is a close up of one man who managed to climb the wall and get inside of the congress building. This man was from Idaho and, of course, has since been found out, and claimed that 'I got caught up in the moment', as an attempt at some kind of excuse for his action.

The Police Used Water Hoses To Try And Gain Control Back

Here the police are desperately trying to take back control of the situation which as we can see was continuously getting more and more out of hand as time progressed. They are spraying water hoses into the riots in an attempt to disarm and stop them.

Losing Control

Here the pro-Trump protestors are everywhere - they have gained ground and they are overtaking and storming the Capitol. At this stage, as the photograph footage shows, the police and the state have completely lost control over the riots and all hell has broken loose.

The Rioter's Preparations

The rioters did not turn up spontaneously - the whole thing was planned so that they even brought equipment to try and barge past the police and to try and get leverage to storm the Capitol. There is a sea of rioters here, completely out of control...

Smoke, Mobs And Flags

The police used flares to try and quell the riots, but so did the rioters to try and maintain the chaos and confusion. The mass amount of people, as well as the smoke and the violence...it was an environment where many people were hurt or injured as a result of it.

Hanging From The Building

Here we can see this unseen footage of people clinging onto the sides of the walls of the congress building. As we saw previously, people were climbing the sides. And here it shows how high it was and how dangerous it was. It was extreme behaviour all fed by misinformation and lies.

Trump 2020

The U.S. Secret Service sent an alert before the riots stating that there are over 10,000 people in line at the White House Ellipse, where President Trump was scheduled to speak at a rally at 11 a.m - it was already clear they were already facing trouble.

Police Preparing For The Upcoming Violence

The police got ready even before the riots as there was an alert received at the rally as masses gathered. The alert said:  "Some members of the crowd are wearing ballistic helmets, body armor and carrying radio equipment and military grade backpacks".

Lots Of Police Were Hurt

The police were completely battered during the riots as they tried to defend the congress, and everybody from the rioters. The FBI still continues to seek the public's help in identifying around 350 individuals involved who are believed to have committed violent acts on the grounds of the Capitol.

Rioters Vs. Police

We can see the two opposing sides here - rioters vs police. Days, weeks if not months Trump had been building up until this point, setting the scene for trouble and stirring ideas of 'fake news' and spreading lies and misinformation. And so before the incident happened, the FBI said it warned officials about the riots.

'Fight Like Hell'

By the morning there were already angry crowds coming. It came after President Trump addressed his supporters, urging them on and telling them to go to the Capitol to demonstrate "peacefully." But also adding: "If you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore".

Police Were Left Completely Overrun

Capitol police stated that they were left completely overrun. They described the situation as being left 'naked' by rioters. The thousands and thousands of them - also dressed in body armour, totally overpowered the Capitol police forces. Backup came eventually but not quick enough.

The Rioters Had No Mercy

As we can see here the rioters wanted to fight. And, the notorious Kanssas City Proud Boys were even involved in the riots. These are a a right-wing militia who were seen heading towards the Capitol. One of them said - "We're taking our country back.".Trumps followers do tend to be the older generation in terms of the majority of votes. And it's hard to say who the majority of the rioters were in terms of age group but there was definitely a mix of all ages from young to old involved, emboldened by Trump's words to fight for their country.Here the true violence is unearthed on camera. Somebody caught this footage on camera and we can see the violence of the crowds. These people were here to cause real trouble and they were not afraid to turn to violence as we can see in this photograph.

Mounted The Walls

Again, here the rioters are ascending the walls of the congress building and reaching the top. Not only did they want to start mass chaos and cause huge and deadly riots but they also wanted to storm the building itself as we can see here, their attempts were successful.

They Reached Their Intended Point

Look here at this unseen photo and we can see that the rioters are in the senate chamber again. They reached their intended destination within the congress building. A place which would shock the most and which would scare the most. But the riot didn't finish until hours and hours had passed.

Baton Sticks Were Used Against People

We can see here that the rioters almost look like the police by the way that they have baton sticks  and shields. It makes it even more shocking when we see these violent pictures and the lengths that these people would go to. This man has his baton over his head ready to launch it down at any police in his way.

Arizone Lawmakers In Hiding

In this picture these are some of the Arizona lawmakers who pushed to stop the seal seen near the U.S capitol riot, they are hiding in fear behind the windows. They are clearly fearing for their safety given the complete chaos that is happening right outside.

Trump Supporters Looking Triumphant

The blatant disregard for the law and for other people, other people's safety or for the premises is shown here in the proud defiance this rioter is showing waving his flag with his arms lifted triumphantly up into the air. And, he's one of many who made it inside the congress building.

This shows Trump supporters gathering outside of the U.S Capitol which came following the stop the seal rally - all encouraged by the former president.
