Nicki Minaj is known for her no filter, no nonsense personality and is never afraid to call people out, even when that person is Mariah Carey. The beef began when both of them worked as judges on the 12th series of “American Idol.” Nicki allegedly threatened the singer with a gun following a comment from Mariah saying the rapper didn’t know how to sing and shouldn’t be judge.

These two icons appear to have nothing good to say about each other. It all started in 1999, when the singer commented on Eminem’s personal life, saying him and his longtime girlfriend Kim had married in secret. To make matters worse, she went through some of his old lyrics, talking about violence, and claimed he was talking about Kim. It’s safe to say the two still don’t get along.
3. Elton John and Madonna

With Elton John firing most of the shots in this beef, it may come as a shock that these two musical legends had any dispute in the first place. It began in 2002 when John aimed a diss at Madonna’s theme song for the Bond film Die Another Day, politely describing it as the worst James Bond theme ever. Not only that, he also accused her of lip syncing on multiple occasions.
4. Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea

Snoop shocked many of us when back in 2014 he openly dissed female rapper, Iggy Azalea. He compared her to main character of the movie, White Chicks and a person with albinism. The two then began to engage in a verbal battle online, both firing shots at each other. After heaps of abuse from either side, Snoop finally reached out to Instagram to apologize.
5. Chris brown and Drake
Back in June 2012, the pair were involved in a nasty brawl, which left five people with injuries including Brown himself, who had a nasty cut on his chin. The bust-up was believed to have happened when brown sent over a bottle to Drake’s table at a Manhattan night club. Drake didn’t hesitate to send back a harsh reply, returning the bottle with a note saying “I’m still Fu**ing Rihanna.”
6. Kanye West and Jennifer Aniston
Kanye West is not shy of an altercation, especially when it comes to the 2020 election. Anniston had been very vocal about the U.S. election and heavily criticised Ye’s attempt at running for presidency. Her comment saying “It’s not funny to vote for Kanye” didn’t go down well, as the rapper replied back with “Friends wasn’t funny either!”
7. Chelsea Handler and Angelina Jolie

Many fans may seem to be shocked to see this pair beefing, as you probably wouldn’t expect it. Despite that, Handler called Jolie a “homewrecker” and somebody you would “want to avoid.” Years after, when Handler was asked if Jolie ever responded, she was amused and said she didn’t. In response, Jolie called Handler a “fu**ing b**ch,” which seems justified.
8. Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Beiber

Two people you probably wouldn’t expect in the same room is Justin Beiber and Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio and Orlando Bloom were both at a restaurant in Ibiza when Beiber suddenly entered. When the pop star apparently walked up to the actor, he was “flicked” away – very rude by Leo.
9. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry
This duo quickly went from hot to cold in the space of no time. After two backing dancers left Taylor’s Red tour to hop on Katy’s Prism tour, the pair fell out. Following this, Taylor revealed her hit single Bad Blood was about a female singer who is a “straight-up enemy” – I wonder who that could be?
10. Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton
From friends to foes, the pair had always been close and seen partying together. Things went south when Lohan was spotting hanging out with Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, Stravos Niarchos. Everything began to escalate when one of Hilton’s friends publicly dissed Lohan. Lohan responded by dealing a low blow and bringing up the controversial sex tape scandal that Paris was involved in.
11. Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere

Having set to star together in the 1974 film The Lords of Flatbush, the duo never mange to click together. The pair were a disaster and Gere’s role would later be re-cast. They nearly came to blows at one point, as Stallone said about Gere in 2006, “He would strut around in his oversized motorcycle jacket like he was the baddest knight at the round table.”

Lifestyle guru and owner of a sprawling lifestyle empire worth billions, Stewart had beef with fellow guru Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow has her own line of lifestyle business, Goop, which Stewart has publicly slammed. The pair also continued to make sly digs towards each other, Stewart having a dig towards Paltrow’s divorce with Chris Martin, and Paltrow mocking Stewart’s time in prison.
13. Kim Kardashian and Chloe Grace Moretz
Tensions arose between these two in 2016, when the actress took offence at West’s nude selfie which she posted on Twitter. Moretz slammed the post, as she felt it was uncalled for and wrong. West responded with a tweet of her own which was ignored by Moretz at the time, as she stated she found the the whole online beef funny and doesn’t take back anything she said.
14. David Letterman and Jay Leno
The beef between these two started back in 1992. Johnny Carson announced he was leaving NBC’s The Tonight Show, for fans the clear replacement was David Letterman, he had his own show Late Night With David Letterman, which was on the same network. Instead Jay Leno, a comic who had been on Letterman’s show got the job, much to Letterman’s disagreement.

Both these men make a living from being hyper-masculine actors in your favourite movies. When the two of them appeared in the Fast and the Furious franchise, what may appear as bro-dom on screen wasn’t the same off screen. The rumours they dint get along began in 2016 and the actors seemed to dodge them, but in 2018 The Rock admitted that they didn’t actually film their scenes together during The Fate of The Furious.

The two Glee costars reportedly did not get along on set. From what has been reported by numerous sources, there is a lot of friction between the pair, they just don’t like each other! One source from Us Weekly in 2014 claimed “Naya is jealous Lea is the show’s main star. There is s lot of sighing and eye-rolling.”

The former U.S. president is certainly no stranger to online beef, especially regarding domestic and political issues. In 2006, O’Donnell called Trump a “snake-oil salesman,” and also mentioned his several failed relationships. Trump certainly didn’t hold back with his response, where he went on to mock her weight-loss surgery and her engagement to Michelle Rounds.

Thorne found herself under the pump from comedy icon Whoopi Goldberg back in 2019. She had been criticised for leaking her own nude photos, despite having the pictures stolen. Rather than letting the thieves control the narrative, Thorne decided to publish them herself. However Whoopi clearly had a big issue with this, which she publicly made clear.

The beef between these two, for years, was just a rumour. Their hit single in 1998 The Boy is Mine is undoubtedly still a tune, but insiders wonder if the hit single was inspired by real-life events. Following a brief cooling-off period, the bad blood reemerged after Brandy refused to participate in Monica’s social media #SoGoneChallenge.
20. Solange and Jay Z
After shocking video footage leaked in May 2014 showing Beyonce’s sister, and Jay Z’s sister-in-law, Solange physically attacking the rapper. The attack took place in an elevator after the Met Gala. While the truth has never been released, it is assumed Solange lost the plot over something said – maybe a cheating allegation?

The exact cause of their beef is not crystal clear, but we know Kim refused to participate in a third Sex and the City movie following an interview in 2018.

Morgan and Paine’s beef erupted in March 2019, after Kylie Jenner was awarded the Forbes title of youngest-ever-self-made-billionaire. Morgan felt it was undeserved, claiming that her fame came thanks to sister Kim Kardashian’s sex tape. Payne clearly disagreed with this view and pair took to twitter in a number of spits.

In response to Cyrus calling her out for her “not so nice’ comments about Taylor Swift, Minaj unexpectedly called Cyrus out on live television. She would go on to say “And now back to this b**ch that had a lot to say about me in the press: Miley, what’s good?” The audience seemed just as shocked as Cyrus by their reactions.
24. Zayn Malik and Max George
One Direction star Zayn Malik and The Wanted’s hit singer Max George were destined to have bad blood. Both boybands had been known to have sly digs towards each other, most notably Malik and George. The pair had been going back and forth on twitter for a while, but it seemed Malik got the last laugh after his iconic line “Alright chlamydia boy.” It doesn’t look like there’s much coming back from that.
25. Katherine Heigl and Shonda Rhimes
This duo had worked together on the popular show Grey’s Anatomy. When Heigl withdrew from consideration from the Emmy’s in 2008, she blamed it on the show’s bad writing. Two years later Rhimes wrote Heigl off the show, which has since caused bad blood between the pair.

Back in 2011, beef between Rihanna and Ciara seemed to appear out of nowhere. During an appearance on E!’s Fashion Police, gossip surfaced from Ciara that fellow singer Rihanna “wasn’t the nicest” to her at a party. The Kardashians are never far from internet beef. Things turned sour for these two shortly after the birth of their daughter Dream. Having sent Rob videos of herself cheating with another man, he fired back on social media revealing he had paid for her weight loss surgery after the baby. The whole situation became really nasty, with both of them eventually taking things to court.

Rapper Azealia Banks took a break from beefing a long list of celebrities, and decided to focus on singer Lana Del Rey. Banks, in 2018, made a dig towards the singers physical appearance and how she could improve it. The twitter brawl then erupted with both sides going at each other. Why can’t people these days just be kind to each other?

Stranger Things super-star Noah Schnapp was called out for his “borderline snake’ behaviour according to Doja Cat. Schnapp went public with her DMs about her crush on his fellow costar Joseph Quinn. Doja Cat was Cleary unimpressed by the youngster’s actions, and made it clear in an Instagram live video back in July 2022.
30. Piers Morgan and Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande isn’t the first, and definitely won’t be the last person to have beef with Piers Morgan. Following Morgan’s attack on pop group Little Mix for selling “nudity” and not just records, Grande hit back hard tweeting, “women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified. it’s OUR choice.” It seems like Piers met his match with this one.
