Alabama: All Profits Gang

Alabama is home to more than one dangerous gang – most notably, the All Profits Gang (or APG), while it also has a presence of street gangs including The Bloods and The Crips. It is rumoured that they have a gang initiation which consists of targeting people in small parking lots, and stealing their vehicles along with all of their personal belongings.
Alaska: The Crips

The state of Alaska was actually the focus for a documentary named “Gangland: Ice Cold Killers” – because there are enough dangerous gangs in this state to make a whole documentary out of! There are actually over 115 gangs in Anchorage, Alaska, alone, and the most notable (and dangerous) is the Crips.
Arizona: Bloods And Crips

The most notable place in Arizona for dangerous gangs is the city of Arizona, with over 1.5 million people and a high gang population dating back to early 1900s. The state has a mix of black and Hispanic hoods, and Bloods and Crips are among the most dangerous gang presence after migrating from California in the 80s/90s.
Arkansas: Hoover’s Folk Nation

In the state of Arkansas, the city of Little Rock sees a lot of street gangs – so much so that there was a documentary made called “Gang Bangin’ in Little Rock” as part of America Undercover. Little Rock has been known to be one of the dangerous cities in this state, and in particular for drug trafficking. Gang presences here include the notorious Bloods, Crips and Hoover’s Folk Nation.
California: The 38th Street Gang

The 38th Street gang is one of the oldest and most dangerous of Los Angeles, California, an Hispanic-American street gang that has been committing its crimes since the 1920s. The 38th Street gang is controlled by the Mexican Mafia, and members of the gang are usually called upon to do what the mafia tells them to do.
Colorado: The Crips

The Crips have a presence in many, many states across the US, and Colorado is one of the most notable. The Crips covers a huge alliance of many different street gangs operating in different states, but was founded in LA. It’s one of the most violent gangs in America, and they’re also known for their rivalry with the Bloods.
Connecticut: Latin Kings

The Almighty Latin Kings and Queen Nation – also known as the Latin Kings, or the LKN – is one of the biggest street gangs and prison gangs not only in America, but in the world. Made up of Hispanic and Latino gang members, it was founded in Chicago and spread its dangerous influence in different states, including Connecticut.
Delaware: MGS Gang

The MGS gang is a well known, and violent, gang that operates in Delaware, and specifically is known in the area of Wilmington. The gang and its members have over 200 criminal charges known to its name – and that’s only the ones that are known. Most recent have been gun violence, murder and feuds with rival gangs.
Florida: Zoe Pound

While the Latin Kings have a huge presence in Florida, one dangerous gang in this state worth a mention is Zoe Pound – the name ‘Zoe’ comes from the Haitian Creole word for bone, with gang members described as ‘hard to the bone’. Most well known for coming from Miami, they specialise in drug trafficking, robbery and violent crime.
Georgia: The Bloods

The Bloods are one of the most violent gangs across many states, and in the world. They originally come from Los Angeles, but are the most well known presence in regard to street crime in the state of Georgia. They are known for being particular rivals of the Crips and Gangster Disciples gangs. They’re also known to have members in prisons.
Hawaii: The Company

When you think of violent street gangs, you might not think of Hawaii! This state is known for smaller groups of street gangs, and usually involved with drugs, gambling and prostitution. One of the bigger known crime organizations in this state is The Company, which began in the 70s, but reduced in activity once its leaders were arrested.
