Celebs You Will Not Believe Are Over 80

1. Jane Fonda -85 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesBack in 1962, Jane Fonda became a global star in the movie industry.  She still looks as beautiful as ever and that is partly down to her fitness routine that she introduced to the world through her VHS tape, 'Jane Fonda's Workout.'  It's hard to believe that the lovely lady is 85 years young.

2. Brigitte Bardot - 88 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesAlso known as BB, Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot, former French actress, singer and model, was one of the best known sex symbols of the 1950s and 1960s.  She even has a neckline named after her, the Bardot neckline which refers to a wide, open neck, showing both shoulders.  At 88, Brigitte is still easily recognisable.

3. Yoko Ono - 89 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesJohn Lennon had left his wife Cynthia for the mesmerising woman he had become obsessed with.  Many Beatles fans blame Yoko Ono for her husband departing from the band.  She keeps a low profile these days, spending much of her time at home, just like any other 89 year old.

4. Sophia Loren - 88 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesAs each year passes, Sophia Loren appears to stay the same!   After 11 years, she came out of retirement at the ripe old age of 85, to star in her son's Netflix movie, 'The Life Ahead.'  becomes more and more stunning.  Sophie still exudes elegance and her 88 years on the planet appear to have been kind to her.

5. Jack Nicholson - 85 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThe movie industry would not be the same without Jack Nicholson, his career spanning over 60 years.  He is actually the most Oscar-nominated male actor of all time, which comes as no surprise.  He has received 12 nominations and 3 wins during this time.  Jack has finally agreed to slow down, just  bit, at the age of 85.

6. Morgan Freeman - 85 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesEveryone would recognise the iconic voice of Morgan Freeman if they didn't immediately spot who he was by looking at him.  Remember him as God in 'Bruce Almighty'?  At 83 years old, the actor has aged well and is still active today, learning lines for his next movie, out later this year.

7. Tom Jones - 82 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesSir Tom Jones sounds as good now, aged 82, as he did at 22.  His welsh tone is as strong as ever and he shows absolutely no sign of slowing down.  He is currently one of the coaches on 'The Voice UK' and regularly belts out a a tune or two, with absolutely no problem in hitting the top notes.

8. Tina Turner - 83 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThe wonder that is music legend Tina Turner, seems to found the secret to eternal youth.  She is officially retired but can't help herself making a few musical appearances from time to time - and we are very happy that the 83 year old chooses to do so.  Tina has a musical dedicated to her, currently showing in the West End in London.

9. Martin Sheen - 82 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesEmmy and Golden Globe winner, Martin Sheen has dedicated his entire life to movies and at 82, is not giving up yet.   He is widely remembered for his leading role as Captain Benjamin Willard in 'Apocalypse Now', released in 1979.   Martin has worked with every iconic director over his many years in the business.

10. Judi Dench - 88 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesDespite being 88 years of age and suffering an issue with the quality of her eyesight, there is no way that Dame Judi Dench will retire so we can all breathe a sigh of relief.  Whether it has been the stage, tv work or movies, her acting performances have been second to none and we love her!

11. Al Pacino - 82 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesAl Pacino, the icon, needs no introduction.   Like a fine wine, he gets better with age and at 82, this has proved to be the case.  His list of movies could fill a book and none of them disappointed.  Mr Pacino has collected an Academy Award, 2 Tony Awards and 2 Primetime Emmy Awards, making him one of the very few performers to have achieved the Triple Crown of Acting.

12. Julie Andrews - 87 years old

Those of a certain age will remember Julie Andrews as the main character in 'Mary Poppins.'  Then, of course, there was 'The Sound Of Music.'  Both these films give the age away of the talented actress and singer.  She is now 87 and recently voiced the narrator, Lady Whistledown, in the Netflix series, 'Bridgerton.'

13. James Earl Jones - 92 years old

The esteemed actor turned 90 on Jan. 17, 2021.

'I'll make an exception and enjoy a slice of strawberry shortcake, my favorite!' James Earl Jones told USA Today.  That was two years ago, on his 90th birthday!  He commented that he had no plans to give up acting and felt fantastic and grateful.  He admitted to growing wiser as he got older.  I like that!

14. Joel Grey - 90 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThe Oscar and Tony Award-winning 'Cabaret' star celebrated his 90th birthday with  his close friends.  He appeared in three episodes of the 2022 FX thriller 'The Old Man', starring Jeff Bridges and has totally dismissed giving up or even semi-retiring.  He said that acting makes him feel alive.

15. William Daniels - 95 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesWilliam Daniels is 95 and has been married to fellow actor, Bonnie Bartlett, for 71 years.  Daniels was famous for the drama series 'St Elsewhere' and voiced 'KITT' in that great series, 'Knight Rider.'  He still hangs out with his former 'Boy Meets World' cast mates and joined them for a hilarious photo opportunity.

16. Robert Wagner - 93 years old

The actor, Robert Wagner, had been working in movies for almost twenty years before he hit the big time in the 1960s and 1970s with roles on the tv such as 'It Takes A Thief' and 'Hart To Hart.' Later in his career, he appeared in 'Austin Powers' and had recurring roles on 'Two and a Half Men',  He's now 93 years young.

17. Rita Morena - 91 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesRita Morena was the star of 'West Side Story', where she portrayed Anita and won an Oscar for her performance.  Steven Spielberg recreated the musical and persuaded Rita to play a new character, Valentina.  She is currently filming two other movies which is crazy when you are 91 years old!

18. Barbara Eden - 91 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesBarbara Eden said she felt young, shortly after her 91st birthday!  The 'I Dream Of Jeannie' star credits regular workouts and a weekly personal trainer for her good health and positive attitude.  She jokes that she never turns down a free dinner and enjoys socialising with the 'young ones' - probably those in their 80s!

19. Bob Newhart - 93 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesBob Newhart, the esteemed actor, is 93!  It was three years ago he celebrated his 90th at Vegas and promised to return every year thereafter, if he was spared.  He has appeared with some of the greats over the years including the late George Burns and Lucile Ball.  He particularly enjoys working with Ben Stiller who he finds hilarious.

20. Iris Apfel - 101 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThe beloved, bespectacled designer said everything about turning 10 was fantastic and that was a year ago - as she is now 101!  She sees herself as the world's oldest teenager, still with a lust for life and looking to the future.  Maybe it is that positive attitude that has blessed her with longevity.  By the way, she has just finished working on collaborations with H & M and Ciate London.

21. William Shatner - 91 years old

Image source / Getty Images'Star Trek' icon William Shatner, turned 91 last March.  A few months prior to his birthday, he traveled on Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space shuttle, making him the oldest living person to go into space.  He loved the experience and said it was over all too quickly and when could he go again!

22. Mel Brooks - 96 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThere's funny, very funny and then Mel Brooks humor which is on anther level!  The funnyman refuses to slow down, even at the tender age of 96.  He's done it all - tv, films and Broadway, starring in movies and directing musicals.  His talents have been never-ending, bringing joy to millions.

23. Tony Bennett - 96 years old

24. Clint Eastwood - 92 years old

25. Gene Hackman - 92 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesGene Hackman, now 92 years old, began his movie career in the 1960s and is well known for starring in 'The Poseidon Adventure' and playing Lex Luthor in 'Superman'.  He decided to retire in 2006 but has stated that he is as busy as ever doing stuff he enjoys as much as acting.

26. Buzz Aldrin - 93 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThe astronaut became only the second human in the whole world to set foot on the moon in July 1969, when his Apollo 11 mission landed on the lunar surface.   Buzz has since earned a Presidential Medal of Freedom, written many books and continues to promote  space exploration.  Not bad going for a guy of 93!

27. Johnny Gilbert - 94 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesJohnny Gilbert's entertainment career has spanned a mere 70 years!  The 94 year old superstar was the long term announcer on 'Jeopardy', a position he held for 36 years!  Johnny was originally a nightclub singer in the 1950s, before turning his talents to game shows.

28. June Squibb - 93 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesJune Squibb has been acting for ever and has only recently agreed to slow down, now she is 93!  She has appeared in many iconic movies over the years and provided voice acting roles in more recent decades for the animated films, 'Ralph Breaks The Internet', 'Toy Story 4' and 'Soul'.

29. Berry Gordy - 93 years old

Image source / Getty ImagesThe founder of Motown Records, Berry Gordy, has been responsible for launching the careers of The Supremes, the Jackson Five and Stevie Wonder, to name but a few.  Gordy oversaw a musical about his life and successes that premiered on Broadway back in 2013. At 93 years of age, he has just been honored with the 2023 MusiCares Persons Of The Year Honorees.

30. David Attenborough - 96 years old

His popularity has remained as high as ever and he gained a million followers on Instagram in under five hours!  David Attenborough is now 96 and still working.
