Jordan's King Abdullah II and Queen Rania arrived at Westminster Abbey, with Rania choosing a light yellow outfit. Her Majesty wore a Tamara Ralph pastel lemony silk crepe custom pencil dress with an off-the-shoulder bow collar. The unique design, which came up before the brand's official launch later this year, was made just for the stylish yet humble queen of Jordan.

4. Katy Perry

Katy Perry attended the coronation ceremony with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful; the singer was also scheduled to play at a coronation concert that took place later that weekend. She was among the few celebrities that were invited among plenty of royals, dignitaries, and heads of state. Perry undoubtedly wore the biggest hat at the coronation, a proper British creation by Viviene Westwood.

5. Queen Camilla

During the coronation, Camilla wore two gowns. Her Majesty wore the Robe of State, which had a flowing red train when she arrived at Westminster Abbey. Camilla's other purple Robe of Estate had a long train that paid homage to Charles and contained symbols of the British flag and natural themes. The gold and white culture gown she wore beneath her robes was made by Bruce Oldfield.

6. King Charles III

King Charles III had the unfair advantage of having several centuries of monarchs choosing the clothes to wear at a coronation, so it's no wonder he looked kinda astounded during the event. The king shone in his regal regalia, though, which included multiple outfit changes, two different velvet robes, and two
very
precious crowns.

7. Prince William

Prince William wore the Welsh Guards uniform and the robes for the Order of the Garter - the realm's highest knighthood - and looked stunning in them. The prince honored his father with a solemn tribute during the service by kneeling and pledging allegiance to the Crown.

8. Catherine, Princess of Wales

Kate Middleton progressively wore her favorite British designers' creations during the events preceding the coronation: Jenny Packham, Self Portrait, and Catherine Walker. The Princess of Wales chose to wear Alexander McQueen for the actual coronation, the same designer who created the wedding gown she wore in the same church 13 years prior.

9. Princess Charlotte

The 8-year-old royal was adorable in her twinning with her mother, donning a smaller-sized version of the same silver headdress and a cape dress by Alexander McQueen with the same embroidery designs to symbolize the four nations: a rose for England, a daffodil for Wales, a thistle for Scotland, and a shamrock for Northern Ireland.

10. Princess Beatrice of York

12. Prince Louis

16. Prince Harry

Harry easily stole the show despite taking a backseat, especially while wearing a stunning black three-piece outfit from Dior. When the prince entered the coronation wearing a suit adorned with medals, rumors that he had partnered with the brand began circulating. Dior also tweeted about the "fit for royalty" style soon after Harry arrived at Westminster Abbey.

17. Pippa Middleton

Pippa Middleton chose an elaborate Mena headpiece by Jane Taylor to complement her custom-colored Alais coat by Claire Mischevani for the historic event. The stylish outfit with long sleeves and delicate lapels looked great when worn with elegant heels and a basic clutch purse in a pastel yellow color.

18. Lady Louise Windsor

The Countess of Wessex's daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, was cognizant of the expectations regarding her coronation attire. She chose a lovely blue and white striped gown from Suzannah London and a Pomona hat from British couture headgear designer Jane Taylor that was hand dyed to match her outfit.

19. Emma Thompson

Photographers spotted Emma Thompson relatively quickly among the famous people at King Charles and Queen Camilla's crowning ceremony. Thompson donned a deep crimson blazer over a black dress that was adorned with floral designs. The actress pinned her Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order medal to her jacket, which was created by Emilia Wickstead.

20. Finnegan Biden

Finnegan Biden, the niece of Jill and Jim Biden, wore a customized Markarian Sommer Seamed Corset Dress with a buttermilk yellow silk crepe Garland Cape to match. A longtime partner of Markarian's, Gigi Burris, produced the headpiece Finnegan wore. The buttermilk yellow roses stood in for the city of Washington, DC's official flower.

21. Princess Eugene of York

Princess Eugenie of York wore a custom-made navy silk and satin mid-length Fendi by Kim Jones dress, finished with a plisse side panel, veiled by a double-sided navy and dark blue cashmere coat by Fendi that also included a navy obi belt. Eugenie accessorized the outfit with navy leather Fendi First heels, Swarovski embellished navy silk and satin gloves, and a deep blue Fendi ISeeU Peekaboo purse with 3D leather roses.

22. Carole Middleton

The mother of Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Pippa Middleton, arrived in style wearing a Catherine Walker cobalt coat dress and matching headband (remember Princess Kate also likes this designer?). She wore her hair in loose waves to modernize the formal outfit.

23. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan

Both Bhutan's Queen Jetsun Pema and King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck attended the coronation dressed in traditional Bhutanese attire. With white cuffs on the sleeves and black shoes, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck donned a gho with a purple and orange pattern. Queen Jetsun Pema wore a lilac kira with blush-colored heels.

24. Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway

Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a custom-made gown by Peter Dundas and Paula Rowan's Montserrat 14bt Classic Leather Opera Gloves. She accessorized with a pink VBH Manila Clutch and Pigalle Follies 85' nude leather heels by Christian Louboutin. She chose a custom satin pillbox with a matching veil from milliner Jane Taylor for her hat.

25. Zara Tindall

Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall wore a baby blue coat dress by Laura Green, accessorized with Strathberry's East/West Baguette in Forget Me Not, and looked ethereal. The royal added her mother's diamond brooch to her outfit and matched the shoes to create a stunning look.

26. Princess Kiko of Japan

Another royal who dressed in traditional clothing for the historical event of the coronation was Crown Princess Kiko of Japan. She arrived at Westminister Abbey wearing an ethereal beige silk kimono with an embroidered belt, which she paired with Geta shoes.

27. Edward Enninful

Edward Enninful, editor-in-chief of British Vogue, donned a custom morning suit by renowned Savile Row tailoring atelier Huntsman. The complete look included a black overcoat, grey striped trousers, a navy spotted tie, and a pale blue waistcoat. The editor was accompanied by Katy Perry.

28. Penny Mordaunt

A significant part of King Charles III's coronation was played by British politician Penny Mordaunt, who was the first woman ever to perform the ancient tradition of presenting Charles with the "Jeweled Sword of Offering." Penny wore a Safiyaa teal cape dress, which was elaborately embellished by Hand and Lock with the Privy Council's golden fern design. Black ballet flats, a matching Full Moon Band by Jane Taylor, and delicate pearl drop earrings completed her look.

29. King Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida of Thailand

The royal couple of Thailand, King Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida, arrived at Westminster Abbey in formal attire, with the king donning a black-and-yellow military uniform. Queen Suthida wore a stunning blue costume with a yellow sash and a skirt with a complex pattern.

30. Joanna Lumley

You can always count on Dame Joanna Lumley to look absolutely stunning, and she never disappoints. The actress wore a navy dress featuring a peter pan-style white collar, complementing accessories, and practical flats to King Charles III and Queen Camilla's coronation.

31. How about the biggest royal fashion fails you need to see? The Duchess of York's 80s outfit

So, this was the 80s... so you could maybe forgive the 'out there' vibe of this particular outfit, but it's still pretty awful for a royal! Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, shows off this outfit which just has far too much going on - the vibrant pink, the black gloves, the sheer material... it doesn't really look like it knows what it wants!

32. Princess Diana's 'clown' costume

Princess Diana definitely had some hit and misses when it came to fashion (but in her defence, it was mostly hits, hello Revenge Dress) but this one really takes the cake. While red did look stunning on the princess, it was the red and white stripes and the oversized nature that made it look a bit clownish on her!

33. Princess Beatrice goes nude - almost

When you look at the dress, it looks pretty conservative compared to what some of the celebs are unveiling on the red carpet these days, but for a royal who's usually supposed to be 'modest', this sheer material means Beatrice is practically naked! The dress actually has a nude slip underneath, which is what you can see, but it looks too much like her actual skin on show at first glance!

34. And let's talk about these ridiculous hats

One thing the royals love is their hats, and there's a rule of royal fashion to wear a hat to certain events, like to the Ascot racing event. But Beatrice has proven a fail here yet again with that crazy hat - and while her sister's, Eugenie, looks a little better, it's still a bit too much like a peacock!

35. Kate Middleton's peplum fail

Usually, Kate Middleton is a style icon when it comes to royal fashion, and she's definitely had some memorable looks to take note from. But this one just... wasn't it. The issue here is that it's a top and a skirt, but the peplum design just makes her lose the shape when a cohesive dress would have been better we think!

36. When Diana was giving prom dress vibes

We know what you're thinking - there's nothing exactly wrong with wearing something that looks like a prom dress, if you want a young, playful look. But this just didn't look right on Diana - and when you're a royal, 'playful prom dress' isn't usually the right way to go.

37. This busy affair

It's very difficult to get busy floral patterns exactly right. It can easily look too busy, too distracting or too much like a pair of grandma's curtains. Done right, it can be a playful design, but this one from Kate Middleton just wasn't serving. The oversized print and the cut of the dress didn't really suit her.

38. Meghan Markle's maternity mistake

When she was content to be a royal (at first), Meghan was pretty good at wearing stylish outfits (even if they went against royal protocol sometimes). Maternity outfits are definitely an opportunity to play around with colors and different fits, but she chose... this. The black hides the bump, so it makes the fit altogether look off!

39. Kate's beach party

It's lovely to see a bit of color and summer vibes from royal outfits, but this one didn't really do Kate justice. It looks too much like a cheap dress you'd grab from a thrift store - and while there's definitely nothing wrong with that for the rest of us, for a royal, you probably need to up your game.

40. Meghan's boring khaki look

To say this was supposed to be for a royal appearance at the Invictus Games, you'd think she might have chosen something with a bit more of a 'wow' factor for the cameras and audiences. While the olive green color is all well and good, the dress is a bit too plain with a straight cut.

41. Queen Elizabeth's stained dress

It must be very difficult to keep your clothes so clean when you're a royal attending banquet after banquet, and even the late Queen Elizabeth II wasn't a stranger to an accident or two. She was pictured with food stains on her blue dress and a broken bag!

42. The creases on Princess Diana's wedding dress

Like it or love it, there's no doubt that Princess Diana's wedding dress has gone down in history for being one of the most iconic. While it's not exactly sleek or stylish in this day and age, for the time she wore it, it was a big deal. The only problem is that the dress ended up ridiculously creased on her big day - which apparently horrified the designer!

43. When Kate Middleton caused controversy by not wearing black

Royals are supposed to remain 'neutral' in terms of political stances, but Kate Middleton had a bit of a problem when she decided to wear this dark green dress to a television awards show. The issue was that guests of red carpets were choosing to wear black in solidary of the #MeToo movement, and she didn't...

44. Meghan Markle leaving the price tag on

We've all been there - you try to keep the price tag on an expensive new dress you want to wear once for a night out so you can return it afterwards. But usually we do that because we want to save money, which Meghan Markle presumably doesn't have to worry about. Even if she wanted to keep it and 'just forgot', it's still something we can't forgive.

45. Princess Anne's pantsuit

Okay so this one wasn't a bad fashion choice because of how it looked - because it actually looked great and stylish - but it was more a bad choice because it very much broke royal protocol at the time. While it may look plain to the rest of us, this was a 'bold' choice for a royal woman to wear pants, and also bright blue eyeshadow when they were supposed to wear 'muted' makeup...

46. When Kate Middleton wore a blouse backwards

In Kate Middleton's defence, it looks completely fine and doesn't even look like it's on backwards! But according to the sale listing of this designer blouse, the buttons are supposed to run down the back - but you can't blame her for putting her own stamp on it and wearing the buttons and bow at the front!

47. When Prince Harry had holes in his shoes

Just like the tag with Meghan, you'd think Harry would also have enough money and time to make sure his shoes don't have holes in them... Did he bother to mention this one in his book on top of everything else? Either way, he attended a wedding with these shoes. Let's hope he wasn't walking on gravel!

48. Princess Michael of Kent's questionable brooch

When Princess Michael of Kent attended a royal banquet at Christmas a few years ago, she was spotted wearing an offensive brooch. The brooch was deemed racist, known as a 'Blackamoor brooch', which Europeans would wear to depict black slaves or servants.

49. Did Camilla copy the queen?

To be fair, there was never much Camilla could do without upsetting someone, but now that she's proven herself with her marriage to Charles and become queen herself, people seem to be taking to her a lot more. That doesn't change the fact that most people considered this outfit of hers to be a direct rip off of this purple outfit Queen Elizabeth II had worn before. What do you think?

50. Kate Middleton wears fur

Kate upset members of PETA when she released a photo of her and William from a ski trip, where she appeared to be wearing fur-lined gloves... for a royal this was a no-no when the animal rights group made it clear they'd be contacting Kate to explain why it was a problem!
