1. Rocket's new costume

(Image/ Source: themarysue.com)
Rocket’s cool blue and red costume featured in Endgame might look like a new, but it’s actually a nod to the Guardians of Galaxy comic book that came out in the mid-2000s. In fact, James Gunn has said that the comics were his original source of inspo when writing and directing the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

2. "I can do this all day"

(Image/ Source: digitalspy.com)
Endgame made a ton of references to past Marvel films, but one of the most memorable is during the Cap vs Cap fight. Future Cap and the 2012 version of Cap do battle, and the 2012 Cap says “I can do this all day” – a line Steve Rogers uses in Captain America: The First Avenger and Civil War.

3. Captain America's original armor scales

(Image/ Source: reddit.com)
Captain America: The First Avenger confirmed that the classic scale-like armor of Steve Rogers wasn’t really a fit for live action. Even so, directors were keen to pay tribute to the comic books in Avengers: Infinity War; after Steve has taken some damage from his enemies, the fabric of his suit frays to reveal the classic scales that have been protecting Cap's the whole time.

4. I Love You 3000

(Image/ Source: ew.com)
The “I love you 300” line is used twice during the film by both Morgan and Tony. And while it might seem like a cute exchange between a father and daughter, there’s more to it than that. If you add up the running time of every film in the MCU, from Iron Man all the way to Avengers: Endgame, the total length equals 2,868 minutes. If you then throw in Spider-Man: Far From Home’s runtime, you have 2,998… which is pretty much 3000.

5. Tobias Funke

If you’re a fan of Arrested Development, we hope you kept your eyes peeled in Infinity War. When the Guardians return to the Collector's base in Knowhere, keep your eyes left, and you’ll see a blue prisoner, who turns out to be Tobias Funke, the infamous Blue Man Group hopeful played by David Cross.

7. Jarvis

(Image/ Source: cinemablend.com)
Back in the 1970s, after Tony and his father finished saying their heartfelt goodbyes, Howard walks towards his vehicle and calls his driver, Jarvis, by name. This marked the first time Jarvis has appeared in the MCU, other than as Tony’s AI assistant. James D’Arcy, the actor who played Jarvis in Endgame, also happened to portray Jarvis in the Agent Carter series.

8. The Thanos snap

(Image/ Source: screenrant.com)
The promise of a famous comic book moment being brought to the screen was made in the Infinity War trailer. Gamora says “the entire time I knew him he only ever had one goal: to wipe out half the universe. If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with a snap of his fingers." That's exactly how things turned out in the comics – and it was also a tease of how Infinity War would really end.

9. Helen Cho

(Image/ Source: marvel-cinematic-universe-guide.fandom.com)
Did you know that the brilliant efforts of Helen Cho in Age of Ultron were actually down to her son Amadeus in the comics? While Helen’s amazing advances of human healing take center stage in the movie, it’s mathematician Amadeus who ends up devoting his powers to the side of Marvel's greatest heroes.

10. Korg's pineapple shirt

(Image/ Source: radiotimes.com)
When Professor Hulk and Rocket are trying to persuade an overweight and depressed Thor to help them bring back the fallen in Endgame, Korg, voiced by Taika Waititi, is playing Fortnite with Miek and can be seen wearing a fetching pineapple shirt. This happens to be a nod to the time the Thor: Ragnarok director wore the exact same shirt at Comic-Con in 2017.

11. AC/DC

(Image/ Source: stan-lee-cameo.fandom.com)

12. Joe Russo's cameo

(Image/ Source: reddit.com)
Did you spot director Joe Russo in Endgame? He plays the part of a grieving man from Steve Rogers’ grief support group, and is the first openly gay character in the MCU. But this isn’t his first cameo; back in 2014 Joe played the part of Nick Fury’s surgeon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

13. Loki's absence

(Image/ Source: themarysue.com)
Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is something of a nuisance to Thor – and fans were quick to spot that that Age of Ultron marks the first time that the god of thunder appears without his brother in tow. They shared the screen in the likes of  Thor and The Avengers, as well as Thor: The Dark World.

14. A lot of people tried to recreate the Super-Soldier Serum

(Image/ Source: ign.com)

17. Anti-rotons & anti-electrons tease a future MCU team

(Image/ Source: screenrant.com)
Anti-protons and anti-electrons are mentioned twice in The Avengers, but they aren’t discussed in any detail. Fans of Marvel Comics will know that anti-matter forms the environment of the mysterious Negative Zone, which is associated with the Fantastic Four. Though iridium is revealed to create anti-protons, and Bruce Banner has studied anti-electron collisions, the Negative Zone hadn't yet been revealed in the MCU – which could be a hint towards a new MCU team.

18. Golden Age Ant-Man Helmet

(Image/ Source: spotern.com)
When Captain America breaks into Hank Pym’s office after traveling back in time in Endgame, a prototype Ant-Man helmet can be spotted on Pym’s desk. This prototype might not seem like much, but if you’re familiar with Ant-Man’s first appearance in Tales to Astonish #35 (September 1962), you probably noticed the similarities between it and the version Pym debuted in the comics.

19. Aliens homage

(Image/ Source: reddit.com)
Remember when Peter Parker said he liked really old movies? Well, in Infinity War, Peter’s callback to James Cameron's Aliens saves him and Tony Stark from Ebony Maw. (Image/ Source: screenrant.com)
In Age of Ultron, Sam Wilson a.k.a. 'Falcon' tells Steve he doesn't mind being left out of the superhero action at the Avenger’s wrap party. (Image/ Source: polygon.com)

The two characters agree that by combining Hulk’s sheer strength with Banner’s intellect, Professor Hulk would be the ideal transformation.

(Image/ Source: QueVer)

26. Lebowski

(Image/ Source: syfy.com)
One of the best easter eggs in Endgame was when Tony referred to the now overweight and laid-back Thor as “Lebowski,” This is a big shout out to Jeff Bridge’s character The Dude in the 1998 cult classic The Big Lebowski. It’s even more fitting when you find out that back in 2008, Jeff Bridges played Tony Stark’s former mentor and friend Obadiah Stane a.k.a. the Iron Monger.

27. Crimson Cowl

(Image/ Source: whatculture.com)

(Image/ Source: cheeseburger.com)
