We couldn't not mention this MICHELIN restaurant in Beijing. The Peking duck is roasted to a perfect crisp and juicy combination. It's best served with thin pancakes and fermented sauces. Another dish of note is the Taiwaneses three-cup cod. Seems like this place alone is worth a trip, so when are we all going?

JB Ah Meng is most known for their deep-fried fish skin served alongside the bean curd with black mushrooms, pork, and cuttlefish. You'll also want to try their flattened pancake with rice vermicelli. The egg yolk prawn tempura is apparently pretty life-changing as well!

We're told that the battered shrimp and rice noodles can't be beat, but we're also told this isn't a great date night spot. Your party has to have six diners at minimum, so come with a large party and empty stomachs.

The street food relies on Hunan region influences, so you definitely want to check out the nan rolls, Cantonese salami and taro with bacon. Be sure to make a reservation!
