One incident occurred between two actual employees in the workplace, where one of the two was unable to take some constructive criticism positively. To make their note seem nicer she added a smiley face, but the other put a complaint in to their boss as she took the smiley face as mockery!

Some people really think the world revolves around them don't they; one employee at popular fast food restaurant chain McDonald's learned this the hard way. A customer put in a complaint to the employees manager for not letting them in the toilet despite the store already being shut.
Bad Coffee

Black Friday can be stressful for shoppers, so you probably can't comprehend the stress it puts on the staff members that have to go through it each year. One Pier 1 employee received a complaint for placing someone's new product in a paper bag with a small tear at the top. They wanted them fired!

Two friends at a store in the US were pulled in to their manager's office for 'inappropriate PDA' after one gave the other a hug for getting them a birthday present!

One old lady had a big problem with aquarium store employee for using the term ma'am; although this wasn't her main problem with the interaction. She actually complained to the manager that the staff member had told her to have a great day, because her fish had recently died and that's why she was visiting the store.

I wasn't actually aware that it would be possible for someone to write E-Mails too well, but apparently someone out there feels this way. Someone in this person's management system put in a complaint suggesting that the employee was trying to write high quality emails to 'appear superior' to others.

One company held a day for the staff to chill out and spend time with one another, they were also told that they could bring snacks. One employee baked and brought in a fresh loaf of banana bread, however one separate employee actually complained they didn't bring any butter with them!

One customer over in the UK was either incredibly intoxicated or incredibly stupid when they sent over a complaint to the UK Domino's Twitter account. They complained they got no toppings, only after realising they actually opened the box upside down before apologising.

No one likes it when one of their favorite items gets discontinued, and this duo of University students in the UK were devastated when a popcorn item was no longer sold at their local store. They sent a poem to the Chairman's office and even received a poem back, alongside a gift card.

Working in the hospital can only be an incredibly stressful job, no matter what your role is. One nursing assistant in the US received a complaint from a patient for taking 10 minutes to bring her ice chips to her. 10 minutes isn't bad, especially when she also had to deal with an elderly patient who nearly urinated their pants.

Whilst working on the till in a department store in the US, one employee received one of the more stupid complaints you'll ever hear; they were too happy (the customer believed it was insincere). It's all worse when you find out they actually received a warning and write up from their manager!

One in the US however, had a complaint made against them for not taking their boots off in a lady's home, despite their being an active fire in her house at the time.

This New Zealand Air customer really wasn't happy with the food on his flight. Now, food isn't meant to be amazing when your up in the air; but the cheese and cracker ratio here does seem to be a little off. He might be slightly more angry than he probably should be, the cheese is the best bit!

One hotel actually received a complaint via Traveller to let them know that he only wanted the right chicken leg served to him.

Now, if you, like most of us have only seen white bed sheets this might be a weird complaint to hear. Apparently this hotel's bed sheets were too bright for the customer and needed to be changed.

Upon landing, they decided to make complaints to the travel agency as they felt the flight took way too long. They also wanted to know why it took longer to get to Jamaica than it did to get to the US. What do they think?

One customer's Xbox unfortunately caught fire, they called up in order to discuss their insurance policy. However, they did this before they'd called the fire brigade and it was still burning in their house.

One chef however, detailed one stupid complaint he received about how his T-Bone was 'too boney'. He replaced it with a boneless steak and all was well.
