One incident occurred between two actual employees in the workplace, where one of the two was unable to take some constructive criticism positively. To make their note seem nicer she added a smiley face, but the other put a complaint in to their boss as she took the smiley face as mockery!

Closed Toilets?

Some people really think the world revolves around them don't they; one employee at popular fast food restaurant chain McDonald's learned this the hard way. A customer put in a complaint to the employees manager for not letting them in the toilet despite the store already being shut.

Bad Coffee

Everyone as their favourite Starbucks (or other coffee shops) order; you might decide to change things up every now and then though. One customer put in a complaint to a barista for making her a cappuccino with foam on the top, which, for those that don't know is a little stupid.

Using A Phone, But Not?

If you've worked in retail you've probably come across those small handheld devices that are used to count stock and in some stores order some fresh stock. One Walmart employee received a complaint for playing on their phone instead of working, despite actually using the work device.

Black Friday can be stressful for shoppers, so you probably can't comprehend the stress it puts on the staff members that have to go through it each year. One Pier 1 employee received a complaint for placing someone's new product in a paper bag with a small tear at the top. They wanted them fired!

Inappropriate Behaviour!

One thing that most people want when they start a new job, is to be able to get on with their new co-workers and hopefully develop a good relationship. Two friends at a store in the US were pulled in to their manager's office for 'inappropriate PDA' after one gave the other a hug for getting them a birthday present!

One old lady had a big problem with  aquarium store employee for using the term ma'am; although this wasn't her main problem with the interaction. She actually complained to the manager that the staff member had told her to have a great day, because her fish had recently died and that's why she was visiting the store.

E-Mails Were Too Good

I wasn't actually aware that it would be possible for someone to write E-Mails too well, but apparently someone out there feels this way. Someone in this person's management system put in a complaint suggesting that the employee was trying to write high quality emails to 'appear superior' to others.

One company held a day for the staff to chill out and spend time with one another, they were also told that they could bring snacks. One employee baked and brought in a fresh loaf of banana bread, however one separate employee actually complained they didn't bring any butter with them!

An Upside Down Pizza

One customer over in the UK was either incredibly intoxicated or incredibly stupid when they sent over a complaint to the UK Domino's Twitter account. They complained they got no toppings, only after realising they actually opened the box upside down before apologising.

A Sad Poem

No one likes it when one of their favorite items gets discontinued, and this duo of University students in the UK were devastated when a popcorn item was no longer sold at their local store. They sent a poem to the Chairman's office and even received a poem back, alongside a gift card.

Ice Was Too Slow

Working in the hospital can only be an incredibly stressful job, no matter what your role is. One nursing assistant in the US received a complaint from a patient for taking 10 minutes to bring her ice chips to her. 10 minutes isn't bad, especially when she also had to deal with an elderly patient who nearly urinated their pants.

You're Too Happy

Whilst working on the till in a department store in the US, one employee received one of the more stupid complaints you'll ever hear; they were too happy (the customer believed it was insincere). It's all worse when you find out they actually received a warning and write up from their manager!

As a dentist, you witness some horrific things on a daily basis, and most of the time your customers (or patients) will tend to agree with what you say and take it on board. However, one dentist received a complaint for suggesting someone get her teeth cleaned, what were they expecting?

You'd think that if a fireman or firewoman were to enter your home, you'd respect everything they were doing in order to tackle any fires. One in the US however, had a complaint made against them for not taking their boots off in a lady's home, despite their being an active fire in her house at the time.

Fans of popular film and TV franchises can be particularly passionate about their love of the productions, and so when companies make products about them they better get them right. This eager eyed child realised the Lego hobbit characters had shoes on, when in the films they didn't. How dare they!

This New Zealand Air customer really wasn't happy with the food on his flight. Now, food isn't meant to be amazing when your up in the air; but the cheese and cracker ratio here does seem to be a little off. He might be slightly more angry than he probably should be, the cheese is the best bit!

A bad haircut can be quite embarrassing for us, especially if you're the sort of person who already feels self conscious as it is. This guy took to social media in order to give his complaint; I suppose at least he didn't take it completely to heart, I'm sure he'll be able to have a laugh about it soon.

Whenever we book a good hotel we all want to get a room that has a great view, although I guess the perfect view isn't always available where we are. One customer complained they didn't receive an ocean view room, sounds normalish right? Except they were in Mayfair, Central London!

Having to accommodate for hotel guests can't be particularly fun for workers, especially when you get those awkward people that find the ability to complain about anything. One hotel actually received a complaint via Traveller to let them know that he only wanted the right chicken leg served to him.

Bright Bed Sheets

Another weird hotel request received via Traveller came in regards to the colour of the bedsheets on the bed. Now, if you, like most of us have only seen white bed sheets this might be a weird complaint to hear. Apparently this hotel's bed sheets were too bright for the customer and needed to be changed.

A group of travellers decided to travel from the UK to Jamaica, quite a long flight in itself. Upon landing, they decided to make complaints to the travel agency as they felt the flight took way too long. They also wanted to know why it took longer to get to Jamaica than it did to get to the US. What do they think?

Some people might struggle with the different tastes, and one of these people complained! Apparently she didn't like curries and they were too spicy, maybe India wasn't the destination for her!

One call center employee spoke about one of the calls they had to monitor regarding the model number of a satellite receiver. Instead of going to look at their set-top box they actually climbed to the roof of their house and scoured the aerial from top to bottom. Fair to say they weren't pleased.

One Xbox employee spoke out about one of the most awkward phone calls they were forced to take as part of their job. One customer's Xbox unfortunately caught fire, they called up in order to discuss their insurance policy. However, they did this before they'd called the fire brigade and it was still burning in their house.

Sometimes complaints can come with a joke at the heart of it, and sometimes its not just a person who makes a complaint. In 2012 Old Spice and Taco Bell ( a weird mix of companies) had a little spat on Twitter where they both signalled issues that each others products have.

No one enjoys using the toilets on any form of public transport like the trains or planes. Over in the UK one customer had the unfortunate incident of needing to go for a number 2 and being left without any form of toilet roll. It did lead to this wholesome communication though.

A T-bone steak is one of the most popular steak cuts around the world, and if it's cooked right it can be one of the tastiest meals available to you. One chef however, detailed one stupid complaint he received about how his T-Bone was 'too boney'. He replaced it with a boneless steak and all was well.
