Who Are The Big Bang Theory Cast With Now

1. Johnny Galecki and Alaina Meyer

Johnny Galecki, who plays Dr Leonard Hofstadter, did date his co-star Kaley Cuoco and I'm sure every fan on the show was rooting for it to work out. Sadly for us, it did not. BUT things did work out for Johnny as he found love with model, Alaina Meyer, who is 22 years his junior! They keep a lot of their relationship private and there was some speculation as to whether they had secretly got married after both were spotted wearing matching rings... They did welcome their first child together in 2019, a baby boy named Avery.

2. Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak

Jim Parsons was never particularly open about his sexuality, at least at the beginning of his fame with The Big Bang Theory. He did admit during an interview in 2020 that he was worried him being gay "might cause trouble" for the show. It did eventually come to light that he was in a happy, long term relationship with Todd Spiewak. There are apparently no plans for the two to be married but they do claim to enjoy a simple, life together consisting of "boring love", something I'm sure a lot fo us would be jealous of!

3. Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook

Kayley Cuoco plays Penny on the show and has had her fair share of dating history reported online. There is some big celebrity names in her past - looking at you Henry Cavill! Not to mention, a good number of engagements plus a marriage and divorce. But finally, she found her Mr Right in Karl Cook, an equestrian, in 2016. After getting engaged in 2017, the two tied the knot in June 2018 and it looks like these two are here to stay. Their love of horses and dogs is apparently what bonded them together in the first place.

4. Simon Helberg and Jocelyn Towne

Simon Helberg brought Howard Wolowitz to our screens who is one half of our favourite 'on-screen' couple. In real life though, he has been just as successful and has been married to actress, Jocelyn Towne, since 2007. The pair have two children together, Wilder and Adeline. 'We'll Never Have Paris' is a film which Simon Helberg wrote and the two co-directed in 2014 which is actually based on the story of how they met, but with a twist of a break up. Helberg quite rightly plays the character based on him, himself.

5. Kunal Nayyar and Neha Kapur

Raj Koothrappali, played by Kunal Nayyar, was never very lucky in love on the show. He seems to have made up for this off screen though! He got very lucky with Neha Kapur, a former Miss India. They married in 2012 in a huge, traditional Indian wedding in New Delhi. They admit to keeping their relationship very private, but it was revealed in a recent book that it was Kunal's cousin who set them up many years ago. They now live together in Los Angeles and Neha Kapur now works as a fashion designer.

6. Melissa Rauch and Winston Beigel

Another star of the show who is married to someone she also loves to work with, Melissa Rauch! She met writer, Winston Beigel, when they were in college and started working together straight away. They wrote stage shows and screen plays together and eventually moved to LA together when she got the part of Bernadette on The Big Bang Theory. The two marred in 2007 with Winston choosing to take his wife's surname! They are parents to Sadie and Brooks but Melissa is very open about her struggles with pregnancy and miscarriage.

7. Mayim Bialik and Michael Stone

Mayim Bialik plays the one and only Amy Farrah Fowler on the show. A neurobiologist and the all important love interest of Sheldon Cooper. Before embarking on her Big Bang Theory journey, she married Michael Stone in 2003, after his conversion from Mormonism to join her in Judaism for the sake of love. They had two children together but unfortunately divorced in 2013, with Mayim not remarrying since. She devotes her life heavily to her political and religious views and uses her platform to aid this.

8. Laura Spencer and Michael Greenwald

Raj Koothrapalli did have one successful love on the show, Emily Sweeney, played by Laura Spencer. Although it did eventually end and lead to her departure from the show, Spencer still raves about her experience being on the show and how she will never forget it. In January 2019, she married her beau, Michael Greenwald, and the two performed a choreographed dance to "All I Want For Christmas Is You" at the ceremony. Happy and devoted dog parents to two pooches, the two look very much lucky in love!

9. Sarah Gilbert and Linda Perry

Sara Gilbert, who played Leslie Winkle on the show, was actually an old co-worker of Johnny Galecki. The pair briefly dated but years later Sara came out of the closet and admitted her relationship with Linda Perry. The two also tied the knot in 2014. Linda Perry is a talented singer-songwriter who has worked with many huge female artists like Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus and Adele. The two even welcomed a child, Rhodes Emilio, but did eventually decide to separate in 2019, with their lives taking them down different paths.

10. Nathan Fillion and Krista Allen

Nathan Fillion actually played himself in a one time appearance on the show! Raj and Leonard approach him in a deli in the episode after recognising him from his many TV and film appearances. He doesn't actually have the best track record with women! Despite proposing numerous times (to different women) he is still, to this day not married. He was tied to Baywatch actress, Krista Allen, who has a long celebrity dating history, and although they did get a good few years from each other, it is now reported that they have gone their separate ways.

11. Stephen Root and Romy Rosemont

Dan, who works for Bernadette and interviews Penny for a role at the same pharmaceutical company, was played by Stephen Root and did have a brief but regular appearance on the show. Admittedly terrified of Bernadette on-screen, he has since moved on to much bigger roles like HBO's Succession. In his personal life, Stephen Root has been married to actress, Romy Rosemont, since 2008. She will probably be best recognised from her roles on Glee as Finn's mother and more recently, from a series called Beyond.

12. Brian Patrick Wade and Jill Wade

Kurt, Penny's ex-boyfriend, made a great few appearances on the show, especially in the early episodes. He then moved on to shows like NCIS and CSI. Not the only success in his life though as he boasts a great relationship with his wife, Jill Wade, who is a bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast just like him. How two people can look so good is beyond us! But somehow they manage to pull it off. The couple have been married for over a decade and if you have ever seen them together, there is no doubt there will be decades more.

13. Dean Norris and Bridget Norris

Colonel Richard Williams, made a memorable impression on viewers during just a handful of Big Bang Theory episodes. Everyone probably already knew him from his legendary performance of Hank in Breaking Bad though... For nearly two decades, Dean Norris has been happily married to his wife, Bridget Norris, who is an accomplished attorney in her own right. They have quite the academic background between them with both being Harvard alumni despite their lives taking quite different career paths over time.

14. Christopher Lloyd and Lisa Loiacono

Christopher Lloyd is definitely best known for playing Doc in Back to the Future. He did make a special guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory though. He was seen on our screens playing a creepy homeless guy who rents out Sheldon's room when he is trying to get revenge on his 'ex' roomate, Leonard. Lloyd has quite the relationship history, having been married five times and divorced four! His is currently married to Lisa Loiacono since 2016. Here's to hoping this one is more successful than the last ones!

15. Sara Rue and Kevin Price

Dr Stephanie Barnett was a memorable girlfriend of Leonard's. The on-screen characters eventually called it quits when Leonard felt like the relationship was moving a little too quickly for him. Off screen however, Sara Rue, married her longtime partner, Kevin Price, who works as a teacher. Their strong bond has, so far, defied the Hollywood odds, and the two are married for over 10 years and are enjoying parenthood together, with their family growing more recently through their adoption of daughter, Adelaide.

16. Brian Posehn and Melanie Truhett

Bert is an endearing Caltech employee played by Brian Posehn. On screen loved for his adorable crush on Amy Farrah Fowler and gifting beautiful rocks to her. He has since appeared in the Dumb and Dumber sequel amongst other things, further establishing his acting career. Melanie Truhett is his real life, off-screen, love. She is a television producer who has been committed to him for nearly fifteen years. The married couple share a son together and give the impression of a loving, strong family unit.

17. Elizabeth Bogush and Lukas Reiter

Dr Catherine Millstone was a character on The Big Bang Theory who took a particular interest in Raj and his essay on the Kuiper belt. She was played by Elizabeth Bogush, who has graced our screens in Scrubs, NCIS and The Young and the Restless. Elizabeth has been with husband, Lukas Reiter, since 2005 and as a lawyer turned television writer and executive, he has his own long list of shows behind him that he has played a significant role in, such as The Firm and The Practice amongst a few others.

18. Michael Massimino and Carola Pardo

Respected NASA Astronaut with a historic two Space Shuttle missions under his belt, Michael J. Massimino appeared on The Big Bang Theory as himself. He offered guidance to Howard before he made his very own expedition into space. An impressive and memorable cameo for the show to get! He wins the list as the longest standing relationship, having been married to wife, Carola Pardo, since 1989. They have a son and a daughter together and were heavily tested as a family during Michael's Space Shuttle missions.

19. Michael Trucco and Sandra Hess

Penny dated another physicist during one series of the show, much to the horror of everyone watching. Michael Trucco played David Underhill and became quite the unpopular character when it turned out he was already married and dating Penny on the side! You might recognise him from previous roles in One Tree Hill and also in How I Met Your Mother. He married Swiss actress and model, Sandra Hess, in 2009 and they have been happily married ever since! They really do make quite the stunning pair together!

20. David Barrera and Maria Canals-Barrera

David Barrera will have graced your television screens many different times over the years. Seeing him on The Big Bang Theory will have made some of you very happy! Playing Officer Hernandez, who is in charge of Sheldon's case after he was robbed, he really showcases his talents. He is proud of his enduring marriage to actress, Maria Canals, who you will also probably recognise from the likes of Camp Rock. They have been married since 1999 and share two lovely children together boasting a perfect family life.

21. LeVar Burton and Stephanie Cozart Burton

Another great sci-fi geek's dream when LeVar Burton made a cameo appearance on The Big Bang Theory as himself! Widely recognised for playing Commander Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: Next Generation, it is only fitting that he gets to show his face on this show. After accepting a Twitter invitation from Sheldon, LeVar meets with the group. Off-screen, LeVar is married to Stephanie Cozart, a make up artist for The Talk. A marriage which has been going strong since 1992 and another not to fall victim to the Hollywood odds.

22. Matt Bennett and Liz Gillies

Matt Bennett was the lucky guy who got to play Howard's younger half-brother, Josh, on The Big Bang Theory. He gained a lot of his popularity from being a Nickelodeon star as Robbie Shapiro in Victorious, but he got to bring it to the 'grown up' screen with The Big Bang Theory. His co-star, Liz Gillies, has been rumoured to be his girlfriend since around 2014! They have never come out and said that they are together, but they also aren't being too secretive either, as regular adorable selfies posted together tend to lead us to think they are more than friends...

23. Mark Harelik and Spencer Kayden

Dr Eric Gablehauser is an iconic character on The Big Bang Theory. Mark Harelik was of course, well established before taking on this role, having been in Will & Grace and Seinfeld to name a few. His wife, Spencer Kayden, and him have been together since 2004 and have two children together. She has a well established career of her own, appearing in Broadway shows and also a former member of MADtv, a sketch comedy show. In true romantic style, the couple have even starred alongside each other in some theatre productions.

24. DJ Qualls and Nikki Reed

DJ Qualls is a very recognisable celebrity and it's only right that he appear on The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon appoints him to play his made up cousin, "Leopold", when really he is just one of the research assistants at Caltech. DJ is not only an actor but also a fashion model. This clearly attracted Nikki Reed to him, as he and former Twilight star, dated for well over a year. In quite the turn of events, DJ Qualls actually came out as gay in 2020, giving a reasonable explanation as to why this relationship never worked out!

25. Joshua Malina and Melissa Merwin

Joshua Malina is another face that any household would recognise! He played Dr Siebert in The Big Bang Theory, who is the president of Caltech, the University where the four main characters work. He's also got The West Wing and a, still ongoing, role on Scandal in his impressive roster of work. In 1996, he married Melissa Merwin, who was a costume director for various TV shows at the time. They have a daughter and a son, Isabel and Avi, and are still enjoying their lives together all these years later!

26. Summer Glau and Val Morrison

Probably best known for playing River Tam in Firefly, Summer Glau was yet another actress to make an appearance on The Big Bang Theory as herself. The gang actually spot her on a train, and as avid sci-fi fans (and also males) they can't help but fawn over the stunning actress. It's a great cameo! In a low-key, secret ceremony in 2014, Summer married her longtime boyfriend Val Morrison, also an actor, who has been seen in popular shows like Days of our Lives and also horror film, Hollows Grove.

27. Stephen Merchant and Mircea Monroe

When Sheldon and Amy broke up, much to everyone's dismay, she had a brief fling with love interest, Dave Gibbs. Stephen Merchant was the man behind this character but probably won't need any introduction to the Brits! A highly successful British TV Star making moves in the US, he was a great addition to the show. In 2017, he struck up a romance with another beautiful actress, Mircea Monroe, who was previous co-stars with Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey from Friends. Actors always seem to find each other!

28. Keith Carradine and Hayley DuMond

Although he wasn't on the show for long, Keith Carradine played the all important role of Penny's father on The Big Bang Theory. The whole Carradine family are actors, so it was only natural that this was the path that Keith would take. In a long and successful career, Keith has had roles on Fargo and Madam Secretary to name a few. He is married to Hayley DuMond, another actress, who he met on the set of The Hunter's Moon when they were both starring in it. They married in 2006 and she is now step-mom to his three children from previous relationships.

29. Steven Yeun and Joana Pak

In a hilarious but brief role as Sheldon's former roommate, Steven Yeun, best known for his starring role in The Walking Dead, made his first appearance on The Big Bang Theory. He might not have been on the show for that long, but his memorable character told Leonard to "run fast" away from Sheldon. He found happiness in his personal life off-camera with his wife, Joana Pak, who he married in 2016 in an incredible and traditional Korean wedding ceremony. They are now parents to a young baby boy.

30. Rick Fox and Vanessa Williams

Glenn made an appearance every now and then on The Big Bang Theory, much to Howard's dismay. As Bernadette's ex-boyfriend and also ex-professor, he always brought a little bit of drama to the show. Played by Rick Fox, a Canadian actor and also former basketball player for LA Lakers and Boston Celtics, what a great choice for a heart throb. He became one half of a power couple in 1999 when he married Vanessa Williams, famous actor and also former Miss America winner. Unfortunately later divorcing in 2004, they really were a couple everyone admired in their prime.
