Jeremy Allen White stars as Carmen Berzatto, also known as "Carmy". His character is highly driven, dedicated to his passion for cooking. This is one of the reasons that he struggles to form relationships in the show. However, off screen, it's a completely different story! Jeremy is 5 years and 2 children deep into a relationship with actress Addison Timlin.

2. Ebon Moss-Bachrach

Richie Jerimovich, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, also runs the restaurant alongside close friend Carmy. On screen, Richie is technically still married, but he and his wife are estranged and no longer consider themselves in a relationship. In real life, though, Ebon has been in a committed relationship with Yelena Yemchuk, Ukrainian photographer, since the late 90's! The pair met at a party in New York, ditched their partners at the time for each other and haven't looked back since!

3. Ayo Edebiri

Ayo Edebiri's character, Sydney Adamu, is theorized by fans to have a crush on Carmy. Despite this, Sydney remains single - yet open to the possibility of love. This narrative doesn't differ much when it comes to Ayo's life in reality, as she's a very private person, stating she is single at the moment. She's happy focusing on her career, friends and family, but isn't shut off to idea of romance in the future.

4. Lionel Boyce

Lionel Boyce, who plays Marcus in the show, remains single during the first two seasons. It's unclear what Marcus' sexuality is, which is left open to fans interpretation. From what we can see of Lionel's personal life, it doesn't look like he has anybody on the scene at the moment. Which is kind of hard to believe considering he's a rapper, artist, and an actor, someone has to snap him up soon, right?

5. Liza Colón-Zayas

Liza Colón-Zayas' role of Zina, does in fact go on one date with character Neil. But, it quickly becomes clear that there aren't any romantic feelings between the two of them. So, Zina goes back to the single life, focused on her career, which appears to be how she likes it. Liza's real life husband, though, is David Zayas, who is also an actor. They married in 1998 and have two children.

6. Abby Elliott

The character of Natalie, also known as 'Sugar', is perfectly portrayed by Abby Elliott. She's another independent woman who doesn't allow a relationship to get in the way of her passion. However, she is happily settled down off screen, married to writer Bill Kennedy. In fact, one of his successful pieces of work was 'House of Cards' in 2013. The couple have been married for seven years, sharing one child.

7. Matty Matheson

Matty Matheson plays the highly lovable character of Neil Fak. Whilst Neil is a tad chaotic, struggling with his punctuality and forgetfulness, there's no denying that he's great company and a terrific friend. The real Matty also has battles of being imperfect, working to better himself. He's opened up about his struggle with substance abuse, which his wife, Trish Spencer, has stood by him throughout. They've been married since 2014 and have three children.

8. Edwin Lee Gibson

Ebraheim, played by Edwin Lee Gibson, is shy and quiet. But, this doesn't stop him being a key member of the team and a great friend. Much like in the show, Edwin is single and happy in his own company. Being a private man, it's unclear what his dating history has been like in the past. But, he has never had any children and is focused on his career, friends and family.

9. Stephanie Hsu

Stephanie Hsu is Sydney, who's the cousin of main character Carmy. Her character demonstrates both vulnerability and strength, and she can be kind whilst also having a nasty side to her. In the show, it's suggested that Sydney has romantic feelings for Marcus. But in real life, Stephanie Hsu is dating Britton Smith, lead singer of band Britton and the Sting. The pair are pretty private, so we're unsure how long they've been dating.

Chris Witaske's character in The Bear is Pete, one of the only characters to be in a long-term committed relationship in the show. He's married to Carmy's sister Natalie Berzatto, to whom he's extremely loyal. However, his relationship status differs off-screen - he doesn't seem to be involved with anybody currently. Although, there have been rumours in the past that he was previously dating actress Aidy Bryant.

11. Jon Bernthal

Michael Berzatto, older brother of Carmy, is played by Jon Bernthal. Whilst he is classed as a minor character in the show, he has a big personality. Mike battles with his mental health and addiction. We don't see what his dating life looks like, as he only appears in flashbacks. In reality, Jon Bernthal has been happily married since 2010 to Erin Angle. Erin is a trauma nurse, and shares three children with Jon.

12. Molly Gordon

Molly Gordon plays Claire, who shares a romantic relationship with Carmy for a short period of time, before the grief of his brother takes over. Claire remains supportive of Carmy, but still knows what is best for her and understand her needs are important, too. The real Molly Gordon is extremely private. It's hard to tell from social media and the web whether she is dating at all. If she is dating anyone, she's doing well at keeping them hidden!

13. Molly Ringwald

Molly Ringwald features in briefly in The Bear during season one, episode three. Her role is The Moderator during a meeting Carmy attends. Her impact on Carmy and the kindness that she shows him is significant, even if she has limited screen time. She is supposedly just as compassionate in real life. Her husband is Panio Gianopoulos, who she's been married to since 2007 and has had three children with.

14. Joel McHale

Comedian actor Joel McHale appears as a cameo in the first season of The Bear, acting as Executive Chef in Carmy's old workplace. In real life, McHale is happily smitten. He's been in a committed marriage to Sarah Williams since 1996. The pair have had two sons during their twenty-seven year relationship. Sarah doesn't like to live in the limelight, so the two are fairly private.

15. Bob Odenkirk

Bob Odenkirk is a talented all-rounder, as an actor, comedian, writer, and a producer. Whilst he chose not to actually appear on The Bear, we have him to thank for the show, as executive producer and co-creator of the show. Bob met his wife, Naomi Yomtov, before he rose to fame. He was doing stand up at the time, and the pair have now been married for twenty-six years.

The character of Gary Woods is played by Corey Hendrix in seasons one and two. Gary's quiet, keeps himself to himself, but is highly dedicated to his work. As with a lot of the characters, he has a troubled past, even having been to prison. Online, it's unclear whether Corey is dating anybody at the moment, as there's not much information on his personal life.

Introduced in season two, is Alex Moffat's character of Josh. Battling with his addiction, Josh has a lot of problems which stem from his substance abuse in both his relationships and career as a cook. Alex doesn't seem to struggle with relationships in his real life, though, as he's been married to comedian Caroline Rau since 2017. They met at audition, hit it off straight away and married five years later. They now share a daughter, born in 2021.

Seen in only three episodes during season one, Chester was played by Carmen Christopher. Chester is Marcus' roommate and a talented designer. Judging by his social media accounts, comedian Carmen seems to be focused on his career at the moment, with nobody on the scene romantically. But, watch this space! You never know what's around the corner, women love funny guys.

Maura Kidwell portrays Carol in The Bear, although she is a minor character. She's also known for her roles in Last Man Standing, No Resolution and a number of others. As Maura is still rising to fame, she's managed to keep her personal and romantic life on the down low for now. Let's see how long that lasts, it gets harder to hide from the paparazzi as they grow in status.

The role of Kelly is played by Mitra Jouhari, who is the heartbroken best friend of Claire. In real life, Mitra is a comedian, a writer and an actress. Aside from her career, she's also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. So, it doesn't come as a surprise that whilst she's tackling all these roles at once, there hasn't been any room for dating in her life. Or, at least not yet anyway.

Acting as Sydney's father is Robert Townsend. It's clear that his character fiercely loves his daughter, and he's highly protective over her too. Maybe this role was easy for him to play, as Robert is a father of two daughters and one son in real life. These children come from his previous marriage with Cheri Jones. They were married in 1990, sadly splitting in 2001. He doesn't seem to be dating anyone currently.

Will seems pretty sought after at the moment by fans. In the past, he's had links with two women - Yasmeen Scott and model Bobby T. As of current though, fans are hoping he remains single.

Briefly, we see Rob Levitt feature in one episode of The Bear, where he's helping Sydney to pick out cuts of meat. In real life, Rob isn't an actor at all. In fact, he really is an acclaimed chef and butcher! He started out his career as a humble dishwasher, making his way up. As for the romance in his life, we're not so sure. It's probably difficult to find time to date in his busy schedule!

But, despite this, he still makes ample time for his wife and family, which is where his heart truly lies. Donnie is happily married to Estelle, with whom he shares a son.

Another guest star we see is Dylan Patel, starring as himself, chef Dylan! In real life, he is another big chef in Chicago, highly successful in his career. Luckily for Dylan, he's managed to stay hidden away in the kitchen and out of the limelight before his on-screen appearance in The Bear. Because of this, whether or not he is dating is a hidden topic at the moment.

Not only is David lucky in his career, but he's lucky in love too! In fact, his wife Anna Posey both run their eatery Elske together have been described as a 'power couple'. And it gets even cuter, the name Elske is actually Danish for 'love'!

He was married to Anna Marie Tendler, multimedia artist, for eight years until they recently split in 2021. Since then, Mulaney seemed to get straight back on the dating scene. He's now with Olivia Munn, who he is already expecting a baby with.

She definitely doesn't disappoint with her performance in The Bear. And Curtis' talents don't end here, she seems to know how to keep a man, as she's been married to Christopher Guest since 1984. The couple have two children, which they adopted.

Carmy’s cousin Michelle is portrayed by Sarah Paulson, who can be recognised from several roles including American Horror Story, Bird Box, Ocean's 8 and so many more. Sarah's partner is actually fellow actress Holland Taylor, mostly known for Legally Blonde. The couple show that age is just a number, with 32 years between them. The pair have been together since 2015.
