In Pulp Fiction (1994), John Travolta played the character Vincent Vega who was a hitman who worked for a gangster. This was widely regarded as one of Travolta's most iconic roles. His dance scene with Uma Thurman was one of the most loved scenes of the movie.

John Travolta continues his shining Hollywood career whilst in his personal life he has faced true turmoil. Travolta lost his first son Jett in 2009 at the age of 16. He went on to have two more children, Ella and Benjamin with his wife Kelly Preston. However, in 2020 Kelly passed away after a battle with breast cancer.

Samuel L. Jackson launched his career with his role in Pulp Fiction playing Jules Winnfield. He credits landing the role to a mistake on the audition set where they mistook him for another actor. His real anger translated into his audition and ultimately landed him the role!

Mia Wallace is the (unhappily married) wife of Marsellus Wallace in the movie who famously dances with Vincent. After returning to the house together, Lance saves her life after she accidentally overdoses. Her character became a cultural icon of the times.

Ving Rhames plays the character Marsellus Wallace who is the crime boss in the movie, both powerful and intimidating. His iconic central role contributed to the drama and success of the movie and is referred to this day. One of the most loved moments was his showdown with Butch Coolidge.

Aside from Pulp Fiction Ving Rhames is often remembered for his roles in multiple Mission Impossible movies, being the only actor aside from Tom Cruise to star in all seven movies. He was also a renowned voice actor for animations and commercials. He has been married to his wife Deborah Reed for 23 years.

Bruce Willis played the character of Butch Coolidge in Pulp Fiction. He was indebted to Marsellus, the powerful gangster. His main aim throughout the movie is to try and retrieve his father's old watch and plans to double-cross the crime boss which sparks a series of dramas and confrontations.

Bruce Willis is a well-known and loved actor known for Pulp Fiction, and Die Hard amongst many others. Sadly, in 2023 (aged 68) he was diagnosed with aphasia and frontal lobe dementia which means that Willis's health will sadly be in decline. His wife Emma Willia has opened up about the daily battle.

Maria de Medeiros is a Portuguese actress who plays Fabienne in Pulp Fiction, the girlfriend (or Lemon Pie) of Butch Coolidge. She forgets to take Butch's watch which has great sentimental value, which begins a series of dramatic events and he vows to get it back.

Recently her acting and singing career has taken a back step from the public eye, however, she continues to act. The last song she released was back in 2010 however her latest movie was Verdades Secretas in 2021. She also starred in the hit movie The Killer in 2017.

13. Tim Roth (Pumpkin) THEN

Tom Roth played the character of Pumpkin (who is sometimes addressed as Ringo), he starred in the opening scene of the movie where he holds a gun in a diner and exclaims 'Everybody be cool, this is a robbery' alongside his girlfriend known as Honey Bunny.

Tim Roth has become such a renowned actor that he has been dubbed a part of the 'Brit pack' which includes the likes of Colin Firth and some of the most successful British actors of the era. Tim Roth continues to star in Hollywood movies, however, he's also faced personal loss with the passing of his son who tragically died of stage three germ cell cancer.

Amanda Plummer played Honey Bunny the seemingly 'sweet' one of the film who had a contrastingly feisty and violent side which was displayed during her part of the diner robbery. Her role actually earned her a nomination at the American Comedy Awards.

Amanda Plummer has been very active in her career since Pulp Fiction. Some will remember her from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, or most recently for starring in the 2020 Netflix series Ratched, or the third season of Star Trek: Picard in 2023. She's currently single and has no children.

Phil LaMar had a very short but impactful role in Pulp Fiction playing Marvin, who is killed accidentally by Vincent Vega when he shoots the gun at Jules Winnfield's car. Despite not having a huge role his character left an impression and was an important part of the movie.

He's had a hugely successful career after this role, most of his work has been in voice acting; these roles include Justice League, Futurama, Samurai Jack, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Despite his career mainly consisting of voice acting, he has also starred in Kill the Man and Manna from Heaven.

Burr Steers starred as Roger, which again, was a temporary role in the film as he was killed by Samuel L. Jackson's character Jules. He's often remembered as the man lying on the couch, being interrogated about the briefcase which became one of the best-remembered scenes of the movie.

Steers has had many successes since his brief appearance in Pulp Fiction. As a screenwriter, he's produced many successful scripts, including the hit movie How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. He's also starred in acting roles in movies such as The Death of Kings and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Bronash Gallagher stars as Trudi, Jody's friend who plays a small but effective part. She can be seen smoking casually while Vincent attempts and succeeds in reviving Mia. The purpose of her role was according to Quentin, to add the contrast of a casual observer during such a dramatic moment,

Brinach Gallagher was formerly a hairdresser until her first acting role in the movie Dear Sarah. From here she reached huge success and in 2020 she was deemed one of the greatest of Ireland's film actors according to The Irish Times. She currently works as both an actress and in the post-production of movies.

Puerto Rican actor Paul Calderon had appeared in several TV roles before massively impressing Quenton Tarantino during his audition. Due to the strength of his audition, he was very closely cast as Jules Winnfield instead of Samuel L. Jackson. But, the decision was made to give him the role of bartender in the movie.

Paul Calderon is one fo the founding menmebers of the Touchstone Theattre. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his family. In 2023 he performed a reprisal of his role in Out of Sight. He has also starred in Addition, Four Rooms, and Sea of Love as well as long-standing TV roles in Law & Order and Miami Vice.

The recognizable character of Lance is played by Eric Stoltz in Pulp Fiction. He is a friend of Vincent Vega and his drug dealer. He helps to revive Mia Wallace when she overdoses and he injects a shot of adrenaline directly into her heart which revives her.

Eric Stonestreet has probably become best known for his role as Cameron Tucker in the popular sitcom Modern Family. He received two Emmys for his loveable role. He also appeared in Bad Teacher, The Loft, and did the voiceover for a character in the Secret Life of Pets.

Rosanna Arquette was the wife of Lance. Pam Grier had initially auditioned for the role however Quentin Tarantino didn't believe she would appear authentic enough for audiences to feel angry towards her, and so Rosanna Arquette was awarded the part instead.

Rosanna Arquette has had an extremely successful career, She won a BAFTA for her performance in Desperately Seekign Susan in which she stared alongside Madonna. She's also an advocate for equality and has made a documentary about women in the film industry and has a podcast named Radical Musings.

Captain Koons was one of the minor characters in Pulp Fiction. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War who met Major Coolidge in the movie whilst both were imprisoned in the same camp. Koons had placed major emphasis on the watch being his sons, and he had kept it away from the Vietnamese captors.

Christopher Walker has had a long and successful career and continues to work in the film industry. However, he opened up about enjoying a quieter life now with his Emmy award-winning wife who he met on set decades ago. He stated that after playing so many dramatic roles, he feels very far removed from his quiet home in the country.
