1. I could manage my emotions better

After doing Pilates every single day I found that it changed more than just my physical self. It also had the most profound effect on my mental state and the way I could manage my emotions. I could handle situations much better and found that I had an outlet that helped my emotions feel much more manageable!
2. I became more energetic

The new lease of energy doesn't come immediately after beginning Pilates. But after doing it every single day for some time, I found myself with a whole new kind of energy. I had a new spring in my step and felt that I had more motivation and passion for other things rather than feeling as though I didn't have the energy.

Pilates made me so much more comfortable in my own body and skin. I couldn't pinpoint the exact moment that my view of my body started to change, but looking back I have a completely different view of my body. I feel good about myself and I believe that I look good!

This is fairly self-explanatory as Pilates focuses on strength and flexibility as well as other things. But the beauty of it was that I felt myself getting more and more flexible, fairly quickly. I could see the results in terms of my flexibility despite not feeling as though I was over-stretching myself.

Not many people realize just how much strength is involved with Pilates, and that's because the majority of it is focused on body weight. But one of the most essential strengths of Pilates is core strength which has improved so much and helped my overall strength feel much greater too.

It's definitely not all about the physical results, and this wasn't even what I had intended to see when I started Pilates. Yet the change in my physical appearance (to me) is huge. My body looks healthy, strong, and toned. Day by day I felt and seemed to look as though I was becoming more toned.

Daily Pilates is great for your mind, it helps relax and switch off as you are totally focused on the moment. The relaxation of your body and mind, I found massively improved my quality of sleep. In fact, as soon as I skip a day, my sleep suffers slightly for it!

When you're doing something every single day you become proud of yourself for managing to stick to it, despite some days you lack motivation. That's where the discipline kicks in! Yet, most days you do without skipping a session you realize that your motivation levels just go up and up.

Posture is so important. It massively helps reduce problems with your back and your joints in general. And, holding yourself upright makes you look more confident too. But doing Pilates every day helped my posture more than anything I had previously done before!

Whether it was Pilates specifically, or the act of doing physical exercise every day, but I started to feel a lot more energetic in the mornings and less tired and sluggish. Doing Pilates or exercise every day can really help to get rid of those unmotivated mornings.

Exercising every day, of course, has great physical health benefits, but one of the most important reasons to do it is to make you feel better. After I did Pilates daily, my outlook became so much more positive, rather than feeling drained and pessimistic about certain situations.

Pilates is amazing for helping you to feel more relaxed. In fact, yoga and Pilates have been voted as the top two most relaxing activities to do. When I started daily Pilates, I could feel myself slowly start to unwind and relax, which can be super hard to do in general everyday life.

I, along with SO many other people found that the best remedy for recurring back pain was Pilates. It seemed to stretch out all of the right muscles, whilst building the muscles up stringer. And, the focus on core strength also helps keep your back feeling stronger.

Breathing is super important and it can be hard to regulate your breathing and actually take deep breaths. But, daily Pilates allows you to regulate your breathing. Not only does it have health benefits, but it also keeps you feeling calm and composed throughout the day.

Pilates is one of those activities where you fully engage with your movements. Each movement is purposeful and mindful so I found that I created a much better awareness of my body which means that on a day-to-day basis, I feel more connected and in tune with myself.

If you're accident prone then you'll know just how long injuries can take to heal. However, Pilates has been recommended for people who are recovering from an injury. It gradually builds back the strength without overworking the area so that it can start to heal and strengthen!

As a sufferer with bad circulation, I also found that my blood seemed to be circulating much better. For those people who have extremely cold hands and feet, Pilates may actually start helping the blood flow around the body to alleviate your symptoms!

When a group of people who did daily Pilates were asked about their self-confidence, the general consensus was that daily Pilates had started to improve how confident they felt about themself. Which, was the experience that I had found. I felt much more confident in myself after doing Pilates daily.

And of course, amongst the many benefits, my balance improved! After doing Pilates every day and creating moves with your body that require balance you could never before have thought you could manage, it was clear that it had massively improved my balance.

Science, however, tells us that 66 days makes a habit become automatic so that we do something without even thinking. There have been studies that show that Pilates has helped people with digestive issues and helped to promote bowel movement. In fact, after I started doing daily Pilates I noticed that my bloating (which used to be really bad) was easing slightly and felt less severe.

In general, daily Pilates has made me feel generally younger and healthier. I feel more supple in my body, more energetic, and clearer-headed, amongst many other benefits. As an activity that's gaining more and more popularity, you can definitely see why it's attracting people of all ages.
