The Hula Burger, though short-lived, certainly wins the place of the most unique idea, however unpopular it might've been.  Back in the 1960s when it was introduced, people were on the lookout for meatless options, especially for Lent, so Ray Kroc treated the people to this interesting concoction.  It never did beat the Fillet-o-Fish though!
