This cute pooch, a Portuguese Water Dog, joined the White House in April of 2009. He was loved dearly by the Obama family and was their loyal companion for 12 years. Unfortunately, Bo passed away from cancer in 2021. He certainly lived a joyous life, though!
2. Socks Clinton

This adorable feline's name was inspired by his white paws. How cute is that?! This adopted, formerly stray cat was adored not only by the Clinton family during their time in the White House, but also had an entire fan club that wrote him letters. In 2009, he passed away from cancer.

Did you know that Grumpy Cat's real name was Tardar Sauce? Famous on the internet for her permanently grumpy face, Tardar Sauce quickly went viral online. Her fans couldn't get enough of her! Before she passed away in 2019, she brought millions of people joy.
4. Olivia Benson Swift and Meredith Grey Swift

Taylor Swift loves cats, and her two Scottish Fold cats are absolutely adorable! She even has a third feline, Benjamin Button. All three of her beloved cats make an appearance in her "Me!" music video. They're also all named after popular TV show/movie characters.

Jennifer Anniston's Welsh corgi-terrier was a huge part of Anniston's life for 15 years. In fact, he frequently joined Anniston on TV and film sets. He rarely left her side! Their bond was truly unbreakable. Sadly, he passed away back in 2011. However, his legacy lives on!

Ariana Grande is a true dog lover. Last time we checked, she had 10 dogs! The best part is, they're all rescues. The incredible singer obviously has a huge heart! Her two dogs pictured above are Toulouse, a Beagle Chihuahua, and Myron, a dog she shared with the late Mac Miller.

Amanda Seyfried met her adorable pup, Finn, on the set of "Big Love". He was being fostered by someone on set, and she instantly fell head over heels. Seyfried posts plenty of cute pictures of Finn on her Instagram page! For his 13th birthday, she even had a cake designed after him.

Kitty Purry was Katy Perry's furry sidekick. She even appeared in the "I Kissed a Girl" music video! Kitty Purry unofficially became Perry's mascot. In her Hello Katy Tour, there was even an inflatable Kitty Purry head onstage! Unfortunately, Kitty Purry passed away in 2020.
