Everyone has their favorite musician and/or band, and it isn't uncommon to follow them all the way through their career. You will often observe personal changes, that coincide with their musical direction and overall image. A prime example of this, is the boy band the 'Jonas Brothers'. This trio have been around since the early 2000's, and have had major success worldwide. We're taking it back to 2006 for one of their first ever red-carpet appearances, at the Kids Choice Awards. The brothers are fresh-faced, and are definitely rocking the fashion that was trending at that time!

Staying in 2006, we come to one of the Jonas Brothers' (many) television appearances. This particular appearance was on MTV's Total Request Live, which featured a host of the hottest artists and personalities e.g. Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, J-Lo and 50 Cent. Nick, Kevin and Joe are still sporting the casual, 'skater-boy' fashion of layering a t-shirt over a long-sleeve top, paired with baggy jeans and converse or vans.

3. 2007- Teen Choice Awards

2007 brings a new sense of style for the boys, as they can seen with longer 'mop-top' haircuts, leather trousers and smart-casual attire. This is also the start of Nick's scarf era, where he was always photographed wearing some form of scarf. The brothers opted for a monochromatic look for their appearance at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards, with grey and white accents.

4. 2007- American Music Awards

Their hair only continued to grow, as well as their rockstar aesthetic. Joe opted for a range of leather attire during this time, including jackets, trousers and accessories. Nick and Kevin took turns sporting ties and scarves during this time period, and they would all style similar pairs of glasses. A prime example of this, is their red-carpet appearance at the 2007 American Music Awards.

5. 2008- Burbank, California

In the year that followed (2008), the boys ditched the overall 'rockstar' leathers and shades, and moved over to a more relaxed style (but it still remained smart-casual overall). The hair continued to get longer, with Joe sporting an iconic side-swept fringe, and Nick and Kevin's curls coming out in full-force! Waistcoats seemed to be a staple for the brothers' wardrobe, as well as neutral tones and graphic tees.

6. 2008- Kids Choice Awards

Neutral colors and tones were completely ditched for their appearance at the 2008 Kids Choice Awards. The brothers wee spotted wearing suits with bright accents e.g. their ties, shirts and handkerchiefs. The length of their hair remained the same (aside from some trimming and styling), and their overall style remained within the realm of smart-casual.

7. 2008- Disney Channel Games

They opted for a more casual look, for their appearance at 2008 Disney Channel Games' red-carpet. Both Kevin and Joe have stayed with the neutral tones from previous looks, whereas Nick is seen wearing a wide-collared striped polo shirt, paired with bright (mustard) yellow jeans. There is also the inclusion of the boys' staple accessories, of a tie, scarf and waistcoat.

8. 2008- Camp Rock Premiere

Another key red-carpet appearance from the brothers, was at the premiere of their 2008 movie 'Camp Rock'. All three of the brothers featured in the movies, and their styling wasn't much different from their characters. Their hair has been styled slightly more, and they're still rocking the bright/neutral color palette (for their clothing). This time-period also saw the steady introduction of v-neck shirts, which were often worn with suit jackets and jeans!

Moving on, we come to the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. For this awards ceremony, the smart-casual style was upheld, and the prevalence of v-necks came into the spotlight. Despite the brothers all being styled in smart-casual clothing, they brought their own unique rendition of it. Nick opted for a white jacket and trousers, paired with a blue v-neck, whilst Joe and Kevin decided on a more formal look overall.

10. 2008- MTV Video Music Awards

The same style of outfits were worn at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. You can see that the brothers have grown into themselves a lot more, and are no longer the fresh-faced 'new boys on-the-block', and have matured into presentable young men. They have managed to retain their unique styles, whilst sticking with a more formal aesthetic (for the red-carpet).

11. 2008- NYC Book Signing

Another strong look during this time-period, was the brothers' very preppy style that was seen at their New York City book signing. This style leaned very much into the shirt/tie combination, and gave them a clean-cut aesthetic. They had also had their long locks cut into proper styles, and they're sporting their staple accessory of ties. This particular time-period introduces the appearance of their infamous purity rings.

12. 2009- Golden Globes

We're moving into 2009 next, with their red-carpet appearance at the Golden Globes. For this particular appearance, the boys opted for sophisticated black suiting, paired with white and red accents. This look is definitely one of their more sleek and sophisticated, and it really reflects their growth and transition into adulthood. Their group and individual styles definitely developed more during this time, and that is evident from what they were seen wearing.

13. 2009- Grammys

Another key red-carpet appearance, was their attendance at the 2009 Grammys. The brothers can be seen in suave suiting yet again, and you can really see how well they're developing into clean-cut young men. Although they're dressed in black suits, they have chosen ones that will reflect their individuality. Nick opted for a triple black suit, Joe opted for a black velvet jacket and bowtie and Kevin opted for the classic black and white tuxedo, with a bowtie as well.

14. 2009- Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience Premiere

2009 also brought around the premiere of the boys' movie 'Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience'. This red-carpet appearance, saw the boys suited up but with their classic smart-casual twist (and pop of color). Their hair has started to get a little longer here (especially Joe's), but they are still well-presented, clean-cut and charming (the perfect heart-throbs for their adoring fans).

15. 2009- Kids Choice Awards

Next up for the brothers in 2009, was their appearance at the annual Kids Choice Awards. The 'mop-top' hairstyles have started to make a reappearance during this time-period, as well as Kevin's scarves and the brothers' purity rings. The v-neck shirts, leather outerwear and neutral tones are also in full-swing, which were extremely fashionable during this point in the noughties.

16. 2009- MTV European Music Awards

2009 was a busy year for the brothers, as another of their red-carpet appearances, was at the MTV European Music Awards. This brought around another appearance from the popular, go-to suiting choices for the brothers. The longer hair had also been chopped and styled, which really helped mature the boys appropriately. It was around this time, that the brothers had started to mature with their overall musical direction and style.

17. 2010- Grammys

This new style and overall maturity continued to develop during the beginning of the 2010's, and this was evident at the Grammys. Nick, Joe and Kevin had a much more formal look overall, as they each wore a tailored suit (with their own individuality reflected through certain elements). Nick opted for a classic black and white tuxedo (paired with a bowtie), Joe had grey checkered jacket and Kevin had a silver-toned tie.

At the 2010 annual Kids Choice Awards, the Jonas Brothers stepped out onto the carpet wearing suits, that were reflective of their past styles/influences. They were still sporting their cleaner hairstyles, as well as the well-known neutral tones of their clothing. For this red-carpet appearance, they each had a unique element to their outfit e.g. pinstripe suit, v-neck shirt and colorful sunglasses and a patterned bow tie.

19. 2010: Young Hollywood Awards

Yet another red-carpet appearance from the brothers, was the 2010 Young Hollywood Awards. Their outfits for this red-carpet are some of the most formal on this list, and were definitely fit the fashion trends of early 2010. This included checkered shirts/checkered patterns in general, fedoras and square-rimmed glasses (the same as Joe is pictured wearing).

20. 2012: MET Gala

We're skipping forward a couple of years to 2012, the MET Gala to be more specific. The MET Gala is a A-list event, that is notorious for its strict guidelines, rules and exclusive invitation list. It is mostly known for its elaborate and thought-provoking themes, which vary each year. A popular choice of outfit for many male attendees, is some form of tuxedo. This is the choice picked by the brothers in 2012, and it is definitely the most formal attire on this list!

21. 2013- Kids Choice Awards

The following year (2013) brought around the most drastic change for the trio, both musically, physically, and aesthetically. For the 2013 Kids Choice Awards, the brothers stepped out onto the red-carpet, and shocked fans with their new look. Joe had shaved his luscious locks off, Kevin had a much cleaner cut and Nick was styling some stubble and had a more muscular build. Their overall style was a lot more mature, and it seems that they completely ditched the more 'childish' elements of their attire.

22. 2013- NYC Fashion Week

The brothers also attended New York City Fashion Week during 2013, and this really cemented their new, adult styling. Despite their new development in styling, they also stick to some of their staple attire choices e.g. smart-casual. You can tell from this appearance at New York Fashion Week, that the trio have had more say about what they're wearing, and it is more than likely that they have been styled by a luxury brand!

23. 2015- Grammys

Fast-forwarding a couple of years to 2015, we reach one of the biggest changes for the band. This was the time that the brothers split musically, and decided to follow their own individual paths. This was the first time that fans had seen the brother separated at events, and on red-carpets. An example of this, was Nick's solo appearance at the 2015 Grammys, where he was seen wearing a stylish grey and yellow checkered suit.

24. 2015- Wango Tango

Following this, Nick performed as a solo artist at the 2015 Wango Tango event. Fans were shocked by his (somewhat) drastic change in physical appearance, as he showcased his toned arms in a black vest. Although fans were upset about the Jonas Brothers split, they were quick to accept their solo careers, and supported them just as much (compared to when they were together musically).

25. 2015- American Music Awards

2015 was also the year of Joe's solo career taking off. However, he announced the launch of his new band DNCE (known for their hit track, 'Cake By The Ocean'). This new band, helped showcase the colorful side of Joe's personality, and his desire/ability to dabble in other musical genres. DNCE made one of their first red-carpet appearances at the American Music Awards (of that year).

26. 2016- Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Nick made another solo , ed-carpet appearance at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, and divided fans with his freshly shaved head. He was pictured wearing a black velvet suit, paired with a matching bowtie and exceptionally shiny shoes. This event definitely fit the more mature appearance of Nick, and the general way he carried himself during this particular time-period.

27. 2017- MET Gala

During the following year, Nick appeared at that year's MET Gala, alongside his fiancé Priyanka Chopra. The couple had been photographed previously, looking very much in love. They quickly became one of the many power couples of this year, and it's clear to see why fans adored them so much. He still had his shaved head, and his outfit complimented Priyanka's perfectly (they most definitely are the definition of couple goals)!

28. 2017- Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Premiere

Another key event from 2017, was the movie premiere for 'Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle'. Nick Jonas featured in this movie, and his brother Joe joined him on the red-carpet. This was one of the first times the brothers had (publicly) reunited, since the split of their band. Both brothers have really entered adulthood, and this is reflected with their physical appearance and general styling.

29. 2018- NYC Fashion Week

For the 2018 New York City Fashion Week, the Jonas Brothers had a proper reunion on the red-carpet, and gave us a throwback to their younger years (as they donned black leather jackets). They all styled some form of facial hair, short clean hairstyles and slightly more relaxed, casual attire. This reunion shocked and delighted fans, and rumours were spreading that the brothers were set to reunite musically as well!

30. 2021- Billboard Music Awards

Skip forward three years to 2021, the Jonas Brothers have reunited musically, and they made this official at the Billboard Music Awards (where they performed old and new musical material)! This is really where their individual styles are showcased, with call-backs to some of their older style elements, blended with modern fashion e.g. bright colors, leathery textures, statement accessories and strong silhouettes.
