This might be the last thing you usually do in the bedroom but if you usually strip down to nothing, changing this up could really spice things up in the bedroom and create some excitement.  It would just break the routine a little and you might even find certain clothing gives you some confidence and makes you feel good and act differently.

It's also important if you want to spice up your life in the bedroom that you take steps to educate yourself on sex-related issues, like sexual health and norms.  It's not uncommon for couples to go through a dry spell so it's important that you both do your research and access resources online, as well as seek advice if possible.

One way to spice up your life in the bedroom is to create a list of your and your partner's fantasies.  Make some time for yourselves to communicate alone and make your list look pretty!  Treat yourself to some scented pens and colorful paper to make your senses come alive.

Something that is quite effective and exciting is to actually schedule your time together and send your partner a meeting invite.  Just like you would at work.  And because you have scheduled your time together, that time you spend with each other will be the absolute priority.

Depriving yourself or your partner of their sight using a blindfold can help to spice things up a little.  It may make other senses like smell, taste, and most importantly (probably!) touch much stronger.  And it might not be something you usually do so it could be doubly exciting.

Flowers, perfumes, and chocolates are nice and romantic but wouldn't it be more exciting to actually send a gift of beautiful lingerie or something similar to a partner?  The act of buying it helps with anticipation and imagination too and it's something lovely for a partner to receive and feel good in!

Slowing down your breathing can really help you both to relax and savor the moments you have together.  Try relaxation techniques and conscious breathing together.  It also helps you to focus on slower movements and be conscious of how you are responding to each other and gain a deeper connection.

At home, granted it's really hard to relax.  There's housework and about a trillion other tasks that you have unticked on your to-do list so no wonder your mind wanders.  So why not try actually getting away from all of the responsibilities of life together and book a night away in a hotel?

There are a few things that you can do to help to set the mood and help you to spice up your life in the bedroom.  And a typical but effective thing to do is to switch on some of your favorite music you enjoy together.  This can be relaxing or not and it all depends on the kind of mood you want to create together!

Your senses are important and should not be neglected, whether you're depriving yourself of your sight with a blindfold or trying to stimulate them.  Lighting a scented candle or some incense an really help to create a sensuous aroma and the candles also double up as mood lighting.

You could also think about spraying your sheets for a real treat.  Using a pillow spray or creating one of your own using distilled water and your favorite essential oils can really help to set the mood and using something different from what your sheets usually smell like can really help you to break your usual routine.

When it comes to spicing up your life in the bedroom, you both have to be on the same page.  Communication is absolutely key to a successful connection so make sure you make some time and space for each other to talk, share and open up about your desires, worries, and other things.

There isn't much that says intimacy as much as giving your partner a massage.  Use some scented body oil and put some relaxing music on to enliven your senses and make sure you communicate.  This can be a real treat for you both as you explore each other's bodies through massage.
