Gwyneth Paltrow and her second husband, Brad Falchuk live in possibly one of the most beautiful Hollywood homes. The Goop founder let us into her gorgeous mansion when she filmed a home tour with Architectural Digest, let's have a look around shall we?

Aerial images showed the home before and after the renovation that took months to finish. The compound was luckily saved from the 2018 mudslides which left 17 dead, 8 missing and hundreds trapped in their homes. Take a look at what the house looks like now...

3. The 'forever home'

Gwyneth has described her Montecito mansion as her "forever home", filled with light, she explained to Goop, “We spent a lot of time thinking about how we wanted to live and what really special things were most important to us,” And she did NOT disappoint.

4. The Kitchen

imagesource: AD
This might come as a surprise, but Paltrow is quite the chef! She explains in many interviews how much she enjoys cooking, so the kitchen is an integral part of the home. The light, airy space is filled with gorgeous blue accents... just divine! The kitchen island came about due to her spending "many years facing the walls" whilst cooking.

5. The heart of the home

imagesource: AD
With a giant island in the center of the kitchen, the shelves are used for pots and the giant wooden table is placed right in front of the floor to ceiling glass doors, making it the perfect place to sit for breakfast on those colder winter mornings.

6. The plate wall was Gwyneth's dream

imagesource: AD
“You get plates you love with beautiful patterns, and then they sit in a stack in the cupboard,” she says. “So we did this plate wall, and I love it.” Gwyneth explained how she had to have this beautiful wall in her kitchen. This simple touch adds so much character to the home, and we love it!

7. The dining room

imagesource: architecturaldigest
Paltrow and Falchuk enjoy hosting guests and like to have a house full of people, whether it be for a dinner party or a relaxing night full of a Faltrow crew. The dining room balances out her sleek and modern home with an old-world wallpaper which was hand painted.

8. Dinner party central

imagesource: architecuraldigest
“Because I entertain a lot, I wanted a space that made it easy and beautiful,” she says. Another room that's full of light, the dining room looks out on Paltrow's beautiful backyard and gardens. The blue accents make another appearance, making her home coherent throughout!

9. The show stopping powder room

imagesource: goop
Another room in this beautiful home with hand painted wallpaper is the powder room, with hand finished mirrors, reclaimed marble 18th century Italian sink and exquisite fixtures. Gwyneth's favorite room in the house, and for good reason! The room is a gorgeous contrast to the rest of the home.

10. The guest bedroom

imagesource: goop
Gwyneth loves to make her guests feel at home and comfortable and this guest room certainly gives off that feel. Gwyneth designed the room with organic and sustainable, handmade items. The Mattress is handmade with Avocado and the fresh white sheets look like you'll have the comfiest night sleep of your life.

11. The at-home-spa

imagesource: goop
Gwyneth has her very own at-home spa which is full of her GOOP products of course. She spends some time in the sauna before getting a shower or jumping in the bath with her hair serum on. She also has her very own infrared sauna blanket in her relaxation room.

12. Relaxation at it's finest

imagesource: architecturaldigest
The out of this world spa also has an indoor pool with R.W Atlas shower fixtures, shiplights sconces and Willy Guhl plants. Above the pool there's a glass ceiling that emits the light through into the sage and green tiled room. Paltrow is really living the life of luxury with this room in her home!

13. Relaxing in nature

imagesource: goop
Again, another absolutely beautiful area of the home is the backyard. When I say backyard, I mean the gardens. The lush outdoor landscape makes it the most tranquil area of the home. “We fell in love with the land first,” says Gwyneth. She has furnished this space with neutral colours and create a homely feel!

14. The pool area

imagesource: architecturaldigest
The beautifully landscaped garden includes a giant pool and jacuzzi at the end. Umbrellas from Niche Beverly and custom chaise longues are dotted around the pool deck looking over the beautiful views of the Montecito hills. She is totally prepared for the warm LA months coming up!

15. The living area bar

imagesource: AD
The freestanding onyx bar by Roman and Williams stand on one side of the living room below the Lindsey Adelman lighting installations that cover the ceiling. With a black marble side table and Rick Owens chairs this room is full of quirky and beautiful surprises.

16. The living area

imagesource: AD
Gwyneth wanted a custom Charles Zana sofa from The Invisible Collection with a painting by Ed Ruscha behind the grey sofa and a wire sculpture by D'lisa Creager in her main living space. The whole room colour palette is more muted and neutral than the rest of the house.

17. The swinging bed

imagesource: AD
A living room wouldn't be finished without this Ralph Pucci hammock which hangs in the living room near the outdoor terrace. It's a great place to just relax, look out the window and chill out reading a book on your day off. This is an unnecessary, yet perfect to utilize this space!

18. The lounge chair

imagesource: AD
The living room also has an Alexander Diaz Andersson lounge chair by the bar and hammock. This living room boasts some great little spaces in each corner of the room - not to mention the out of this world marble bar and the bonsai-looking floor to ceiling plant!

19. The upper-floor landing

imagesource: AD
The upper floor landing has a custom sofa by the window with a Nickey Kehoe cocktail table and Gentner sconces. A random place for a sofa, but yet another area of the house with plenty of natural sunlight is the hallway and landing area and it even makes for a perfect place to relax.

20. Powder room of dreams number 2

imagesource: AD
OK, this could outshine the first... Another beautiful powder room in the house has more hand painted wallpaper, scones by Giopato & Coombes through TwentySeven and an antique marble sink from Stone Objects. This regal looking room is just another reason why this home is so special.

21. The hallway of dreams

imagesource: AD
The entry to this mansion has an 18th century fireplace mantel and reclaimed-stone floors from Chateau Domingue. What holds center stage for this room is the Akiko Kirai vessel on the center table which is from RW Guild. The black accents in this room add depth, yet the space remains bight, and airy... just fabulous!

23. The 33-room mansion

This was home was a renovation project for the pair! The couple also bought the two homes on either side of the flat to create an enormous 33 room mansion, restoring the homes Art Deco period details and went on to sell this home for $11.5 million when they decided to split.

24. Gwyneth & Chris Martin's Hamptons home

After 3 years of marriage, Gwyneth and Chris decided to move stateside to the Hamptons. The stylish $5.4 million swelling  boasted five bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms all decked out with amazing furnishings and decor - as you can probably imagine.

25. Gwyneth's favorite home

The home had a primarily pastel based color scheme with wooden cabinets and a 'dramatic' looking kitchen. Gwyneth still owns the property and four pears after her split with Chris, she married her now husband Brad in the backyard of this home. She just couldn't let go of this one, and for good reason!

26. Gwyneth & Chris Martin's Tribeca penthouse

27. Unique & sophisticated

imagesource: curbedny
The home went on the market in 2016 for $14.25 million and sold for $10.7 million the year later. There is theme running through Paltrow's interior design style, and the posh pad was decked out with painted white walls and a unique sofa swing...similar to the one in Gwyneth's Montecito home.

The main house included high ceilings and a gourmet kitchen with wood panels and an in-outdoor barbecue. Outside, there was a stables which was designed by Kathryn Ireland and Gwyneth still owns this property after her divorce. This space shows Gwyneth Paltrow's more playful interior style, with accents of red.

30. The Malibu holding

imagesource: dailymail
When Gwyneth & Chris decided to go their separate ways, she purchased another West Coast home in Malibu. The secluded estate was made up of four bedrooms with a yoga studio, landscaped gardens and a pebble stone pool as well as a tennis court and a backyard anchorage for a yacht...oh how the other side lives!

31. Inside Gwyneth's childhood home in California

Gwyneth Paltrow didn't first have a rather spectacular mansion when she earned her money as an actress, either - she was already living in mansions in her childhood! Her childhood home in California went on the market in 2022 for a whopping 17.5 million dollars.

32. The interior design focuses on blue

It's no surprise that Paltrow was brought up in a mansion seeing as she had some very well off - and well known - parents: actress Blythe Danner and director and producer Bruce Danner. Hollywood was always in her veins! And her home. This family obviously loved additions of blue.

33. Elegant landscaping

With any California mansion, you're going to want beautiful landscaping and a private outdoor area to relax. This garden feature feels all kinds of zen when you look at the spots of color, greenery, water fountain and lanterns. This must have been a cozy spot for the family at night!

34. Ambient blue lights under the kitchen island

The blue continues! A very calming color, it's introduced more here in this fabulous kitchen. The huge island counter has LED blue lights underneath for the seating, which matches perfectly with that stylish blue backsplash tiling and the chrome fixtures and fittings!

35. The dining area

We all know that booth seating is the way to go when you're eating, and this family introduced that cozy, intimate booth vibe with this dining and seating area (also in plush blue, of course) with a glass table and further pops of color with the flowers and the artwork choice.

36. Every mansion needs a fireplace

Would celebrity family Christmases really be complete without a fireplace? Who are we kidding, they probably jet off for an expensive seasonal vacation that time of year. Either way, it helps to know you have a lavish sitting room like this to relax in should you choose to!

37. The epic gallery wall

This space looks like it could actually come from a gallery building itself. The amazing natural light flooding through the skylights, the plush armchair seating so you can view your favorite pieces - in blue again! - and the wall of interesting, and presumably expensive, art pieces,

38. A piano with a view

What more could you want playing the piano than to be surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows, huge leaves and greenery and natural light? This must be a very inspiring space, presumably a creative one if the artwork is anything to go by. We don't remember any of the family releasing any piano albums, though...

39. The exterior view

You definitely need your privacy when you're a big time celeb family, so it's no surprise this mansion has high hedges, a tough-looking gate and overlooked by a lot of trees. Though compared to many celeb houses these days, this is actually simple and minimalist!

40. A cozy outdoor nook

Not only does this mansion have a balcony or two to look out of - or maybe Gwyneth was practicing for her future role in Shakespeare in Love - but it also has a little outdoor seating nook. Those chairs look like they're made out of stone, but we hope not for comfort's sake!

41. The view from the dining room

The home is filled with natural light from plenty of windows, but it also manages to keep its sense of privacy being surrounded by nature, shrubs and trees. Although this isn't much to look at out of the window when you're eating, it's enough to feel like you have privacy!

42. And of course there's a pool

There's always a pool! When you have the money for one, anyway. And this is a pretty spectacular pool. With gold features around the top smaller pool, and a relaxing seating area that again has a lot of privacy due to the surrounding trees, this must have been the perfect family spot to relax.

43. That's not the only childhood home she's had

Most of us have parents that have lived in the same house all their lives, but when you're  a rich, celeb family, of course you're going to be mansion hopping! Gwyneth had another childhood home in Los Angeles, which also went on the market a few years ago for around 3.2 million dollars.

44. Complete with lemon tree

This home gives a really fresh vibe, with its use of classic white, pale blue and the splash of lemon yellow on the kitchen counter! This looks like a more traditional family kitchen, especially with the classic black and white checkerboard flooring. The huge kitchen island looks perfect!

45. The open plan living room

The area gives the perfect balance of modern and more traditional, with the overhead spotlights but then the classic wooden flooring. The fresh white is continued, and from this spot you can relax and perfectly see who's cooking in the kitchen while enjoying the breeze from outside!

46. The bright dining room

The blue returns! This family really loves blue and white in their homes. This dining room has a welcoming, cool feel to it, with even traditional features like the chandelier given a more modern update with the crystal clear finish. The dining room is filled with more natural light.

47. A glance at the huge oven

You can really tell those families that love being in their kitchen space based on the size of the oven! And there are certainly no microwave meals here. The kitchen is complete with that huge range cooker, perfect for family meals and for entertaining celebrity guests at that kitchen island!

48. The tranquil bedroom

The bedroom here (which is one of many, we're sure) seems to follow the same design inspiration from the dining room, with the pale blue walls, wooden floor, woven rug and pops of white. And then you have the matching clear chandelier, too! Could that bed be any bigger?

49. Is that a dressing room in the bathroom?

This is actually a genius idea - have you ever seen a dressing table right next to the shower or bath before? It makes complete sense if that's where you want to get ready - though of course you'd need to be careful of your dressing mirror steaming up! And close those blinds!

50. A colorful garden

With all the clean whites and pale blues in the house, it's nice to see some pops of bold color in the garden! Even so, they're keeping it simple with this arrangement, with a nice cozy seating area and only a few plants and flowers. Though we're sure there's another massive garden with a pool somewhere...
